  1. I suppose to a certain extent the Diablo games could be considered Beat-em ups?
  2. Summoner 1 I'm stuck. So frakking stuck. A few years ago I got this game and I got stuck at the exact same place. I put the game aside from frustration and I started it again about a week ago. It's when you leave Iona for the first time and on the world map this "GhostRider" ambushes you. I can't beat the frakker! Infuriating!
  3. Why do you have a swordfighter in the back row?
  4. Karka, is GODS released in North America? I can't find it here and by "other means" I only found German versions which I can't use until I finally learn german. I'm so starving for a FPRPG!

This is extremely appealing to me! (w00t)
  6. The Ant Bully. I was pleasantly suprised. A lot of action and rather intense for this type of film. The animation wasn't top notch but still way better than Hoodwinked. It is about a friendless boy who is bullied by another kid and takes his frustrations out on ants living on his lawn. One of the ants, a wizard, makes a potion that allows him to reduce the ant bully in size to the ant's level so he can be punished for his "crimes". Fun and mayhem soon follow.
  7. Is it me or is Season 3 boring? There has been nothing happening for at least 3-4 episodes. We are watching a board being set for an attack of some sort. I'm beginning to slip away from this show.
  8. And Patrick Stewart. Who looked the same then as he does now.
  9. She was the only one besides the Nymph, who couldn't talk about it, who knew "the story". I guess she was "the mentor". Her daughter was hawt.
  10. I would guess yes if you eat bad(like "supersize me" bad) all the time with no exercise. However in thruth I have no idea and since I am neither a doctor or a particularly smart man, I would not put too much trust in my guesses. Also, I'm not sure about this but just because it's not hereditary, doesn't mean it's not genetic(?). If your pancreas is "built" to fail at 50 years old it will. Or maybe it will just explode because of bad health habits. Nevermind. I'll be in the Star Wars forums...
  11. Wow you have powers! I almost mentioned Arx Fatalis but I wrote Ultima instead, thinking people would know it more... You read minds through the internets! :D
  12. Neither does Cheez Wiz. Mmmmmm Cheez Wiz...
  13. Lady in the Water It was ok when it finally starts moving along, about halfway through. It's like M. Night woke up saying "Oh my, yeah, huh, I'm the director, right? Ok then where were we? oh yeah the Nymph thing ok, alright... and... ACTION!". Before that point it was just dragging along like a huge beast. And a lot of bla bla bla too. Can't wait to see The Descent.
  14. Capilaries get clogged with hardened glucose, resulting in loss of function. What is most vulnerable to that are the extremities, kidneys and eyes because they have more capilaries. To avoid this, the best ways are exercise, water and low/no fat foods to let the blood circulation do its job. Why is it depressing?
  15. Video games. Watching, writing movies. Cooking(sometimes) I used to build models of Star Trek and Star Wars ships and vehicles. I suppose I should start again as this relaxes me immensely, but there is no time anymore I write short stories as well.
  16. Well, yeah, I agree with you there. Unfortunately 51% of the voters think that's groovy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But, but, but... votes can be bought!
  17. I have a better question... Do they really have powers and what the heck are they waiting for to get their butts to the Middle-East???
  18. Playing Summoner, Boiling Point and Dragon Quest 8 with occasional bouts at Ghosthunter and HoMM5.
  19. I'm pretty sure it's a producer's fault. To fund the film they need backing from car makers who provide the models. Bay can't do crap about it and he does what he can with what is provided to him by the Producers.
  20. Flight 93 Although it felt like a TV movie it wasn't so bad. There wasn't any anti-Arabness and the actors were ok. The movie did feel like it was stretching a story based on very little information and they laid down the tear jerking thick. I didn't cry because it was just too obvious. Cheesy even. I wish they could've explained why the plane left a crater about only 30 feet in diameter. But this film is obviously not about facts and explanations, it's about the human spirit... Or something.
  21. I thought it was 11 million people died in concentration camps and 6 million of them were jews. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hum... yeah... That's what I meant. :"> I'll be in the Star Wars forums...
  22. Well, it's not really BS, per se. I agree with that statement, but I also agree that we shouldn't let past events affect our everyday lives. There have been movies, TV episodes, and books that deal with clans/groups of people have been warring for centuries but don't even remember why they were fighting, other than the transgressions of their ancestors. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> FIXED
  23. This is not the first time I read/hear such thoughts. The answer that usually pops ups is "We must remember the mistakes of the past so that we do not repeat them in the future" or something to that effect. I think this is the wrong to look at things. People should just lighten up and live their lives together. I think the particular incidents you give as examples only serve to feed hatred, frustration and racism among everyone. Also, too often those people who give their people's history as a means of bitching forget about some important details. Like Blacks selling other Blacks into slavery in Africa because even amongst them they had a concept of superior/inferior Blacks. Like the Jewish people that keep reminding the world that 6 million of them died at the hands of Germans in WW2 when in fact Nazis hated everyone, that gays and blacks, asians, handicaps, etc also died in the holocaust, that it was 6 million people that died, not 6 million Jews(although most of them probably were). I never owned a human and neither did my parents or even my grandparents. I accept everyone in my society and I believe everyone has a right to live the way they please. Why should I have to pay for things someone did decades ago? Why can't we remember without letting go?
  24. Looks like another "Hulk syndrome" victim... I just watched Dark City.
  25. If glucose(not sugar) could be dissolved with warm water or even body temperature, there wouldn't be clogs in the extremities now would there? By the way, it is often forgotten but variations in glucose levels also affect the mood. It seems to increase emotional response. Many times a week I find myself enraged at the simplest of things or sometimes it is very hard not to cry for things as stupid as a movie with dogs in it(if you like dogs. It's an example!) I was not like that before. From what I've experienced I wouldn't be surprised if many road rage incidents were the result of a diabetic reaction in someone.
