Yes. And then Lando finds it, and thinks of making a profit with this old ship..but he realizes it would cost too much to restorate it, and when he has no price for the race, he remembers it, and gives it as the 1st price (there are no other prices, only the 1st on in race gets one...so Lando wins anyway ) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't think swoop racing exists anymore after Ep 6 though. Maybe Podracing. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ...OK, and later swoop comes back, even if just on really small number of planets. But it comes back....I like swoop more than pod <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I would a starship race. Could justify the customizability of the Ebon Hawk. -
I remember a time when the internet was not widely spread and games couldn't rely on patches to make their flawed products work. Games back then were complete and bug free and those dev/pubs that didn't deliver were bankrupt and dissapeared from existance. Aah the good old days...

I think they did a pretty impressive job in the short time period. Obsidian created an awsome graphical interface, which I might add was a vast improvement over the first. Even though there are quiks and such, I think they made some significant progress. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, it's takes a lot of effort to change some colors on some interface someone else slaved over for months.

I think the corruption in USA(and Canada by default...) is higher than 10%. More like 30-40%. but it's just better hidden. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> then you can guess how it is in the other States i mentioned <_< <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes. Thats the kind of thing that really scares me about the world we live in. Kinda makes me lose hope. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You HAVE hope? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes. I'm not a teenager anymore... And if you want to have children in this world, you need hope.

the Ebon Hawk could've developped a conscience out of roaming the galaxy for 4000 years. Like Vger in Star trek the movie -

Alright, I'll see what I can do <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks. :D Just think of it: If the Ebon Hawk shows up in the 'future' , it will be a REAL old ship, and way back in tech. So, there should be a lot of options to get new weapons, shields, ect... to have it fixed and ready again (maybe even no ability to star-jump in the first 1-3 uses of it (w00t) )...it would be fun to have it as a 1st price for a swoop-bike race at the very beginning of the game what you simply have to make/win (of course, here the PC and compainons don't know how rusty that ship is) ..the race creator/overseer (don't remember the right word for it) should be Lando " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Maybe the Millenium Falcon could be a refurbished Ebon Hawk? They do look alike. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nope, they don't look alike, one of them is definetly smaller than the other (don't remember now witch one)....but it could be that the old EH needs a 'pull start' from the MF at the first time it tries to start...think about this pict...funny <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ''Would it help if I got out and pushed?'' - Leia ''It might!'' - Han -

Where can I get them NOW? ....I mean the soundtracs " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Isn't the soundtrack available on the game CD or on your HD after install?

Corruption is a problem in any ex-CCCP, and Warsaw-pact State...like here in Hungary <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Corruption is a problem in any state in any country. The difference is how much the corrupted need or care to hide it properly.

Ebon Hawk should be damaged...but NEVER destroyed! So you can add new electrical thingys to it, and maybe change the looks from it a little. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, that was my first idea. But then I started thinking that K3 could be the final chapter in a trilogy and so, many losses should occur. The Ebon Hawk is a beloved piece of technology that has served well, and destroying it would generate a great amount of drama, tears, anger amongst us KOTOR fans. Drama is good -
Perpetrators should be happy slapped.

Going to be the same for PS3. For just twice (or less) the cash you have a PC (with better specs), where you can also do "other" things on... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Meh. I don't care about power. They could release another Atari 2600 for all I care. if the system has more better games, it will get my $$$. Oh and the PC can be upgraded, not a console. So comparing a console to a PC is a waste of postings. The console market FOLLOWS the PC's current standard specs. If your standard PC bundle at, say, Best Buy, is a P4 3ghz 1Gb RAM machine, that's what a new generation console will have(more or less) under the hood... for the next 5 years during which the PC will substantially evolve into something 20 times more powerful. I have no doubt there will recalls for the PS3, thats why the wise ones should wait about a year before buying it, just like a new car model. Give them time to work out the glitches.
-
That is actually a very good point. probably the reason why Heart of Gold never aired.
-
All I care about are the games. Which ever system has more of the better ones will get my $$$. The 360 had recalls after 2 weeks of its release. And it's basically a graphics enhancer for 500$. And Xbox Live isn't free for that price? No thank you. For now.
-
Hum... well, if they release a Special Edition with the cutted stuff included, I would get it from a friend. They should've taken the time to finish the game, not charge us poor gamers again. That would be a rip-off. Sorry.

And I miss the REAL series :'( <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Do you mean the original? I have not posted any spoilers because I only mention things that already aired. Sorry for those who cannot be as up to date as we are here in North America however. :"> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Apology accepted. But do try to bear in mind that some people may also be catching up on DVD. I COULD steam through at maximum speed, but I like to savour the show. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Understood. It certainly is a delectable piece of television entertainment worth savouring every second. I went through the DVD set in 2 days. And I was able to catch all of season 2 with reruns, friends recordings and... other means. Scar was amaizing!

All this talk about Revan and the Exile returning as PC or even party members, in K3, makes no sense at all, gameplay and storywise. Each KOTOR game is about 1 Knight who makes his/her mark in the galaxy by becoming a Jedi/Sith and removing some evil figure from power. K3 should be the same. You start off as nothing more than a young force sensitive moisture farmer's aide and you become a Jedi/Sith Master/Lord at the end, changing the face of the galaxy. Personnaly, I would like to have some more info on what happened to my previous characters and I am not against cameos. However, playing them again, no thank you. I want a new story, with new characters with a conclusion that closes the door on this era of the Star Wars mythos, the end of all things but with a very small hope of a future rebirth. I would like a deeper Master/Apprentice relationship, one that drives the story. I would like a big part of the game to be the Trials, to actually learn to build a Lightsaber, not just find parts and have someone do it for me. It should be a complicated thing with the possibility of failure. Slightly smaller city maps but more than one on each planet. At one point, the Ebon Hawk should be destroyed and the player stranded either on a planet or an enemy ship. The player can then design and build another ship based on plans found throughout the game and stored by the droids. No rocket launcher, sniper rifle or BFG. This is Star Wars, not DOOM. The lightsaber is a more elegant weapon, from more civilized days. PC creation should involve more races with bonuses and penalties for each, as well as physical customization(skin colour, height, build, eyes, hair, voice samples, and so forth). Deeper conversation options/influence with characters, rewards and bonuses for reaching influence levels, maybe even some unlockable team combos/abilities. Closest relationship becomes a bond and the player can choose which abilities/powers the bond does. thats it for now -

Cylon hot females : Number 6(the blond Seven-of-Nine wannabe), Sharon, the pregnant Cylon (Number 3 I think) and Xeena. Starbuck is definitaly a strong leading woman but she is also a bit of a **** as she sleep with a different guy in almost every episode. In Battlestar Galactica this behavior is commendable to a certain extent since they do need to repopulate a planet when they find it in the series finale.
-
Yey! Starbuck is back, sluttier than ever! That was a great episode. I wonder if we'll get to see a whole squadron of Scars when the Cylons reach the Fleet.
