  1. Or an Islamic one? (LOL islamic gnome womans... ) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sorry but I don't understand the relevancy of your reply. Are you saying the Prince is not/does not look Islamic?
  2. The Judge has spoken! And the Judge is right. So... where did you read about a PS3 version?
  3. At the risk of being flamed to death ; Grand Theft Auto 3 & Vice City: Same game, overhyped, overrated, ugly, shaky controls, bad camera. Violence is not enough to make a great game. but I did like the muci options... on PC! Prince of Persia The Sands of Time : Repetitive and frustrating gameplay.
  4. It seems to me that having either or both Revan and the Exile as PC is a very bad idea. After K1 and K2, both have saved the Republic/galaxy or destroyed it. Much like Exar Kun, Freedon Nad, Ajunta Pal, they are now legends, they made their mark and their influence on the galaxy will affect the lives of whoever will come next. The one who comes next will be the next PC. He/She will also affect the galaxy like Revan and Exile did. The next PC will be the last Knight of the Old Republic. Unless they make K4
  5. There aren't any jews in denial. Didn't you read Exodus? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, I'm waiting for the movie. I heard it's one of Tolkien's best work?
  6. Mira looks like my wife 2 B so... Mira all the way
  7. Nope. And he did die in the comics, but Clark brought him back. I have that issue <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah! I allmost forgot that... However, if you remember 'Doomsday', Johnathan Kent dies in the cornfield again. This is due to the fact that Superman was pronounced dead. Funeral for a Friend: Series (One of the comics in the series, but I can't remember which one. I have to look in my bin.) Did they bring him back latter on? It would be in a comic after 1996. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Technically he didn't die... he just had a heart attack and was hospitalized. there was an entire issue where he's having a mystical expireance that ends up "bring clark back" which leads into the return of superman/reign of supermen <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, well in Smallville he dies. And it was well done. Much better than a car crash or being burned by Jor-El. I can't wait to see that picture...
  8. 8 in the fleet, according to Sharon. Who said 12 in the show?
  9. Uh... its been 1 episode since Starbuck was in. Clash with the Cylons? 2 episodes back they took out their ressurection ship. The show is about humanity, coming to grips with what they lost, and what they need to do in order to survive. The conflict with the Cylons should take a back seat, especially now that the Ressurection ship has been destroyed. Also, they're in a constant struggle with the Cylons, like the whole baby issue, and the group being led by the blond Cylon (did they ever give her a name, or is it just number 5?) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah you're right about Starbuck. I guess it's because each episode seem so far from one another. Weeks are sooo long. And you are right about the resurection ship also. I didn't think about that. It should take a while for actual cylon ships to show up again because of the risk of losing lives. As for the blond Cylon, her model is number six. There are 8 models in the fleet with many copies of each in the Cylon Empire(?). The Sharon model has a number but I don't think they mentioned it throughout the series. Yet. She is referred to as ''The Sharon model'' obviously because no human(except for Baltar perhaps) is aware of the model's number. The ''real'' blond has a name, which is given to Baltar in Epiphanies but i can't remember what it is.
  10. Article Please explain to me if I'm wrong or mistaken (hell, I know I can be a little silly sometimes :"> ), but is that not a tad hypocritical? It's a private company. They have a dress code. Your religion can not force a company to change it's dress code and they are entitled to not employ you if you do not want to abide by it... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I see... that makes sense... so the whole thing about respecting people's religious freedom was a lie... ok... thanks for clearing that up for me Gorth <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Shouldn't people be responsible for the religion they choose and deal with the consequences?
  11. Thats very unfair. They get all angry at your country for showing funny pictures of their prophet, yet we do nothing about them trying to exterminate us(non-muslims) for being demons in their eyes. I'm going to doodle a prophet right now! Let the crusade begin! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It is spelled B-I-A-T-C-H. Media... proud bitch of religious propanganda <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  12. hack and slash RPG? Isn't that an oxymoron? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Diablo 2 the best thing ever released by Blizzard. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Possibly. But it still doesn't make it an RPG. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You play a role, it's a role-playing game. Peroid.
  13. 6 Social tea cookies and a cup of coffee.

  15. I think there was a Batman, sort of, at one point. lana had this creepy boyfriend, always dressed in black and grey and he was investigating Clark. I think his name was Bruce too. Turns out he was working for Lionel and he... disappeared. He was played by that blue-eyed mimbo in the first season of Lost. I always thought he was Smallville's version of Batman. I hope we get a cameo of Superman. I'd like to see Clark fight Superman <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wasn't Bruce. Turned out to be a dead guy who was brought back to life by Lionel's scientists but degenerated quickly and died again. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh yeah. Thanks.
  16. I don't find that there is a lot of sex in BSG. Starbuck with Baltar/Lee, Starbuck with a football player, Lee with a prostitute. Thats it, among 26 episodes. There was a lot more sex in NYPD Blue and the beloved, mafia promoting Sopranos, not to mention all those sitcom inuendos. What impresses me the most is the continuing storyline. Every episode follows the previous one and each of them is written in such a way that even if you miss a few, it's really easy to get back into it, moslty because of the recaps at the beginning of each episode. Starbuck hasn't been there in a while, I think the series is due for another big clash with the Cylons, enough with the internal human bickering already! I also think there is something very wrong with the President, she has changed a lot and now it's like the power is going to her head. In Blackmarket, last friday's episode, I was hoping for a real confrontation with Baltar instead, she asks him to resign, he says no, end of confrontation. Oh and sex does have a function. They must repopulate!

  18. I don't see how you can speak for that group in general. I, for one, would like to say that this is not the case for me, since I always considered the comic books that Marvel put out at the time as canon. The Thrawn trilogy (novels) and the Dark Empire comic books came later (around 92), but they're better than most of the Marvel stuff and were just as much canon to me. I don't think that's right either. The only one who can okay new films is Lucas, and he's got enough cash as it is - he really didn't need to make the prequel trilogy just to make some fast $$. The prequel trilogy can be criticised for many things, but I don't think this is one of them. We've yet to establish that. I don't think the various authors and artists involved in Star Wars novels and comics over the last few decades see themselves as "fans". Some of them are professional people. Aaron Allston (who wrote some of the X-Wing novels) was a professional D&D game designer for years and still highly respected for much of the work he did at the time, for example. Pardon me, but do you mean to sound elistist? If you like only the original movies, then that's fine, but it's still just an opinion - it doesn't mean that all other Star Wars is low quality by definition. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ok. I won't reply to everything you said, that would be pointless. The Original Trilogy in its original edited form is set in stone. It is pure, it is the nucleus from which everything else has evolved from, canon, eu, whatever. The term ''Sith'' is outside of that nucleus, so is the status of Dark Lord and being ''a Darth'', the prequels, the novels, the comics, the games, everything else. Thats not bad at all, since it allows this universe to grow eternally. For me, the Expanded Universe is everything that is outside of that nucleus, Canon or not. And I'm not the only one who thinks this way. Doesn't mean I am elitist or that I hate everything that is not OT, on the contrary, I love everything Star Wars. That is my opinion, my belief, whatever you want to call it and since I have had it since 1977, you will understand if I defend and protect it ever so strongly.
  19. Of course we do. Its called shut em up, shut em up, put your dukes up now. Got no time or money, get em up, put you dukes up now. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So you are bullies? When I was a kid, bullies would get their due when all the kids would get together and teach them a lesson. Worked every time...
