  1. This has probably been asked before but... Do you have any enjoyment out of life at all?
  2. How about a squad of bounty hunters looking for Jedi/Sith?
  3. That would be awesome. Imagine taking your Merc team to different planets. There actually was an interesting game ages ago where you had a ton of mercenaries to choose from, you put them in your ship, and then flew off to do different missions. I think the game was flawed in some way, but I loved the concept. I think the word squad was in the title. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There's XSquad but that one is not that old. I think your talking about X-Com/UFO: Enemy Unknown. Best. TBS. EVER. There was also Star Trek Away Team but that one just sucked popsicles big time.
  4. Yes but you can bet they will make a great Fallout 3
  5. Yes. It was called Fallout. Star Wars is not a perfect setting. It is a setting for lame munchkin gamers who want uber mad force skillz. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Maybe in a SW RPG you are right. But you can only compare to what has been made. Saying it's impossible for anyone to ever make a balanced SW RPG is pushing it a bit don't you think? Maybe Bethesda will pick up the franchise from Obsidian when they're done with Fallout 3
  6. So... it's a first -person Diablo? With average AI?
  7. I would certainly appreciate some ORIGINAL ideas in the gaming industry(movies too for that matter). I find Star Wars to be a perfect setting for games, especially space sims and sci-fi military ground combat. But SW has been done to death. That cow has been milked plenty. New worlds, new ideas would be immensely appreciated.
  8. So you want the developpers to make a game for you, one that would be perfect for you, without you having to make any effort whatsoever, without you opening your mind to anything else beside what you consider to be perfection. Have you ever played a game like that?
  9. Did you try playing the game without leveling up? I'd like to see your naked lvl 1 fist fighting character trying to get into that tomb on Dxun.
  10. Imbalance can be a good thing. And balance is not necessarily always only attached to difficulty. Pacing, gore levels, language and amount of info in the gameworld, etc. Lots of things compose balance in a game. But balance is completely dependant on what the designers intend to do. If the Lightsaber is strong, it is because they wanted it strong and you can bet a few people once gathered around a table to discuss how strong the lightsaber should be. A Jedi with a lightsaber is supposed to be strong, a formidable adversary. It is very plausible that once you acquire the Lightsaber you become a nearly unstoppable force. Thats why, maybe, it takes so long to get one in K2.
  11. Except LucasArts of course? Oh yeah they don't dev anymore
  12. The average American doesn't "feel". No time between TV shows. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Awww c'mon, don't be so hard on yourself, surely American Idol and 24 aren't on the air all the time? And stop trying to derail, you little devil you. PS. Your post summed it up pretty good, considering you haven't read the thread. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, American Idol and 24 ARE on allthe time.
  13. Yes! Another Star Wars Space Sim! Like the one included in Battlefront 2 but more advanced and detailed. I love the idea of infiltrating a star destroyer by landing in the hangar bay, getting out of my ship and blowing it up fromthe inside.
  14. I bet they couldn't even make a balanced Fallout 3
  15. I say burn all the flags! Let us dance around the planet as one big happy frakkin' family!
  16. Oh no! That means they will come to Canada!
  17. I much prefer a nice balance. I'm bored at games when they are too easy and I get very frustrated when they are too hard. I like difficulty sliders. And I like it when the easier I set the game, the less xp I gain, the harder it is, the more xp I collect. The way KOTOR 1 & 2 are made, only the first planet or two can be hard. Since the player can travel anywhere after that first world, all planets have the same difficulty setting. So, as you as you reach a certain lvl, everything is a breeze and it gets boring. twas the same with Morrowind. After lvl 10-15, you could beat any foe.
  18. Yeah they just need some lightsaber resistent armor like tarentatek Platemail or something. Cortosis tuquecap. Ysalamari skin trousers.
  19. Yes I agree very strongly with that option. It would be so cool to have a path through the Jedi/Sith academy as a sidequest instead of a main quest thing. The player could choose to be a Jedi or not. Thats very appealing.
