  1. They should make all video games in lego format. Imagine : Lego DOOM Lego Half-Life Lego GTA San Andreas Lego Starcraft Lego World of Warcraft Lego Lego Star Wars!!! (w00t) (w00t) (w00t)
  2. A Mod replacing WoW graphic, sound and text files with SW maybe?
  3. K2 swoop is so buggy its unplayable. K1 swoop works ok but needs the added stuff from K2 to make it more interesting. Hopefully in K3 we'll get playable upgraded swoop racing.
  4. Maybe a KOTOR2 expansion. Baldur's Gate 3 Mouahahahaha Jade Empire 2 Elder Scrolls 5 megamouahahahaha Temple of Elemental Evil 2
  5. Dude! Jolee can only be played by Ron Glass! And either Adam Baldwin or Ron Perlman for Canderous/Mandalore.
  6. to all your ideas. I agree, starting as a full fledged Jedi is a bad idea. However, becoming a Jedi before the first quarter of the game is essential. Thats why a longer game is a must.
  7. I don't think they'll have any problems finding a LD. There are plenty of less prolific game designers who would kill their mother and sell the part to Satan for that job. They need to find the one who won't :D The requirements are high though. Must be an improtant title "
  8. Haven't seen Christophe Lambert in a while. Interesting choice. Malak would sound weird with a thick french accent but the brooding eyes would be perfect.
  9. I finished Jedi Academy this weekend, again. How hard would it be to remake this game with a party and RPG elements and call it KOTOR3? Freedom of movement, real-time combat with special lightsaber moves depending on style and stance, vehicular combat and racing, first person and third person perspectives depending on weapon used. Wouldn't it be sweet?
  10. How about a Jawa instead of a droid? With talkback of course otherwise it would be too much like slavery.
  11. That's a possibility, but I think it's cooler to have them back in the group, so sue me... Yes, that's what I suggested... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You did? Well then, maybe we should get together and form a development house. Anyone else want a job?
  12. FFVII Sucked! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Maybe it does compared to previous FF titles however it is still much better then the FFs that followed and it basically made what the PS1 is today. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Aha! That was the one I played, 'cause I bought it for my PSone. Stupid game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I bought a PS1 WITH and FOR FF7. Cost me like 400$can. Never regretted it. I played the s*** out of that game. And many others.
  13. I don't see why having a new main PC precludes the possibility of having Revan and the Exile as playable characters - i.e., companions - late in the game... Sorry, but I don't. Whatever happens in KotOR3, we need closure to their stories - even K2 constantly had Revan (or at least his ghost) in the background... That's why I said I wanted their classes to be selected by the player as well as their gender, alignment and appearance - so it will by my Revan and Exile! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> To get closure on Revan and Exile, we don't need them as party members. All we need is someone to tell us what happened to them, just like Kreia tells us what happened to Revan in K2(which could be a lie, she was Sith!) What you want is a toolset in which you can build your perfect Revan and then share him online in places like this forum. Maybe you could request a Revan simulator. Oooo! The Sims expansion pack #55: SimRevan with a patch for SimExile (w00t) <_< There is more opportunities for storytelling with Atris. She could comeback a supermurderous jedi cyborg that can transform into a ship. OooOOooooh!
  14. There's no world shortage of food or basic necessities, yet there are still famines in the world, and they're man-made. On the original topic, it's interesting to contrast our fascination with fake violence with our obsessive, at times self-delusional, demands for safety and the minimization of risk in everyday life - health warnings on food, airbags in cars, baby harnesses... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hum... Yes, ressources are low on this planet. If not now, wait till the chinese start mass producing and mass consuming.
  15. Revan and Exile cannot be playable. Interacted with, barely a "maybe". They are previous chapters in a story that the new PC will be the last chapter of, third Knight of the Old Republic. Why would you want to play someone else's Revan anyway? It makes no sense. Revan and Exile were different for everyone so chances are very high that however they are built, everyone will be dissapointed, except for whoever built them, canon or not. The only instance in which they could be playable is if the game would allow character importation. And that will not happen on consoles, it is against certification requirements.
  16. Have to disagree here. Humans are like monkeys. They would happily share the resources that are available. It only really happens when there is a grand shortage. But with humans we (Northern side) gladly mass-gather and leave the others (Southern side) with alot less, even if we could share the resources. And why, because we silly humans fight for some fictional thing called "money" and rather have alot of it... more then the other ones atleast! Now who says we are ADVANCHED beyong the apes... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, ressources are low on this planet now. And money exist because we are lazy. Without money, humans would simply consume what they need, not what they want and the world would be much more balanced and safe. But hey, capitalism took care of the species well-being a while ago... Second world war was it? "
  17. I think it's all instincts. No matter what we may think of our species, humans are animals. The primary instinct of animals is survival of the species. When ressources are rare because there are too many individuals, it is normal for said individuals to fight for those ressources. Eventually, the weakest, unable to win food will die of starvation. Most animals will not kill members of their own species. Mortally wound, yes, but not kill intentionally. Except for humans. If we look at our entire species, it may be possible that we are intentionnally killing each other to balance available ressources with living individuals. I am talking about a collective consciousness, one that is unseen by each individual but could be apparent if looked upon by a higher being. Hive like if you will. Think of mice in a lab. Mice have a social structure very similar to that of humans and they have other close similarities with human behavior. Studies have shown that if one would put together a group of mice with less food than needed OR for a certain period of time, they will eventually start to kill each other. If food is scarce, they will also resort to cannibalism. I believe it is the same with humans. Violence is an instinctual reaction to overpopulation. We like to see it because our instinctual need is satisfied when it happens. Thats what I think...
  18. Same is said about The Plague (Black Death)... That one might even be worse than this one too, but they could manage that when they found out the cause and it was an easily managable one. Managing safe sex is a whole different and far more difficult task. Don't get me wrong, it is VERY managable, if it wasn't in the human nature to keep sleeping with other people and ignore the risk of spreading the dissease... <_< <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Diseases, pandemics, are the only thing that makes a real dent in human population, looked at historically. Plus their very randomness is doubly disruptive. It slays prince, pauper, genius and moron alike. I don't know about conrolling it through safe sex. We could definitely use improving, especially in the UK, where all sorts of STDs are on the rise. But the fact is that the virus is relatively hard to contract at present. As it learns and gets tougher even barrier methods may prove unfeasible. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What puts a dent in human population... a war? There are too many of us anyway. I say let AIDS spread, do the damage and maybe for once humans will evolve to something stronger from the survivors.
  19. I've not actually played Jedi Academy. The thing wouldn't install on my computer for some reason, so I took it back Kinda disappointed to be honest. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> When you get a Double-blade lightsaber, you can light up one blade or both. And take advantage of the moves of both combat styles. Really, a great game.
  20. We can only hope. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We can only hope Bioware makes it.
  21. So is the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. By your "logic" anyway. Oh and also, I can spell "crappy" just fine thank you.
