  1. There was a Godzilla game that came out last year. It was a fighter type thing, somewhat cool. I did some QA on it And I think you mean War of the Monsters. If not, try it :D
  2. Off course not. @ The Architect / Nartwak / Astrocreep and maybe others. Do you want me to become the storyline writer of Kotor III? I suppose if you and another 97 forummers are vouching for it that I become the writer Obsidian will employ me. Well, I don't need a high salary..... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Pfff I'll do it for free, with my name in the credits!
  3. That's true. But I think Revan and Malak were at the same age. Thus, both is possible. Hey, let Revan be female and Malak male and the new PC is the child of both )))))). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Except Revan is already Male LS Canon. EDIT: Sorry about the double post. :">
  4. Then you can forget about playing as another species. Or as a Jedi since revenge obviously leads to the Dark Side.
  5. I'm thinking more of this procedural system/programming/technology applied to other types of games like RPGs and FPSs. Correct me if I'm wrong but Spore, even in its current state, is a major breakthrough.
  6. Your a genius! Superb idea hawk... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That quite a good idea. But me, personally, I would hate to play as the child of Darth Malak. This guy was a pain. I prefer of being Revan's child then ;-). Hey, I got an idea. Carth Onasi had a son, who was trained at the Sith Academy. Maybe he could be the next PC. But then we had no choice of a male/female char. That's bad. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Maybe Dustil was hermaphrodite and at the start of K3 he/she makes the big decision. <_<

  8. Hey I just had a flash of possible geniusness. How about the game starts and you have no affinity to the force whatsoever but along the way you get caught in a special force anomaly, a zone of super concentrated force energy. This energy is absorbed by your body and you become ultra powerful but the powers are chaotic and you can't wield them properly for a while, until you find a Master that will help you control your new powers. So for a while in the game, you could have lighting bolts randomly shooting out of your fingers or force jumping for no reason or having dozens of people stunned around you from all the mind tricking. And then you could have a choice of either trying to keep your powers under control until you find another Jedi (LS) or let them all out and indulge in some chaotic destruction (DS) (w00t)
  9. It runs fine on my P4 1.8Ghz, 512Mb RAM, Radeon 9600 128Mb but I don't have all the graphs maxed(about halfway) and I run in 1024x768. Patched!
  10. Why would he? Has Will Wright ever really failed to deliver? He's not Peter Moleneaux. I'm not a huge Sims fan, but I still recognize its gaming brilliance. This is just the next step. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Next step? NEXT STEP??? This is more like a big fat giant leap forward in the space time continuum (w00t) Imagine this next step applied to a RPG! 11. theres nothing funnier than watching the Emperor electrocute a skillion ewoks. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) GREATNESS OVERLOAD!!!
  12. Gothic 1 was limited to a single prison colony. There was enough space to explore, but the area was definitely very finite. Gothic 2 seems larger, though, but I haven't played it much. I like Gothic for its plots and free-roaming, but I don't like the character building and the combat system... Lots of good ideas, though. I think it's more a question of having something interesting to discover in them. Mercenary II: Damocles (jeez, that was long ago...) was great, but boy was it big and empty... IIRC, one planet had several million of "pyramid" structures on it, only they were all empty except for a select few... Agreed. And there should be few but very different vehicles. For example, some could be pretty fast, but only run safely on real roads (which are all pretty much gone by the time Fallout is set in), while others can be slower off-roaders. A car-wars thing could be good. If they looked a bit at Mad Max 2, the Road Warrior for inspiration, it would be great. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't think it's possible to make a "carwars" game without taking at least some inspiration from the Mad Max movies...

  14. yes that part was still good but lasts for what... 10 minutes? It's a 2 hours movie!
  15. That movie sucked popsicles. I watched it again recently and as much as I loved it when it was first released, puts me to sleep now.
  16. Thats what I thought
  17. That is a disturbing image. What does it mean?
  18. Sounds like the Old Testament. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Underworld 2(very gory) was all inspired by the Old Testament.
  19. Thats a cutscene isn't it? No in-game stuff here, right?
  20. Nah. you get hit by krytonite and it's instant death. No need for a liife meter. It's innovative!
  21. I'm finishing Geneforge Demo download now... :D
  22. I wouldn't say addicted. I like it as a very good Star Wars game but I am not a big fan of RTS in general. All the same.
  23. When you step off that boat?
  24. The missions in EaW remind me of those in X-Wing. You almost have all those shuttles boarded and BOOM! 2 Star Destroyers warp in and start launching Tie Bombers.
