  1. I was just thinking of Syndicate the other day. It really was an unbelievable game. It really plopped you down into a living breathing world. Looking back, it was doing the stuff that made GTA famous long before Rockstar ever entered the business. Doom is one of the most important games ever. It doesn't matter if you don't like FPS games, it raised the bar for the entire industry and brought in a huge new audience. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thank you! :D
  2. Well, okay. All I meant to say that whatever it is; Ragnos' scepter / valley of the jedi combined with artusian crystals. It has been done in two games. I wouldn't mind it but I think, because it has been done twice allready, the game wouldn't score so well. Just my idea. But perhaps you could say if anyone else would be able to use the pure force energy or that it is you, the chosen one if I can say so, who was the only one who could use it and that the energy then dissappears (in your body)? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You know in Diablo2, the hero of D1 is roaming the land with this awesome power within him that he can barely control. That is kind of what I'm thinking of. It's a seemingly random event that completely changes the life of one seemingly ordinary person. I really hate "chosen one" storyline so I don't want that. Either it is truly random or it was meant for someone else, but this ordinary person is faced with it and must deal because it is irreversible. The PC essentially becomes infused with the force by accident, the complete opposite of the Exile.
  3. Of course not. It had Dennis Hopper in it.
  4. Never really read it :"> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "How about the game starts and you have no affinity to the force whatsoever but along the way you get caught in a special force anomaly, a zone of super concentrated force energy. This energy is absorbed by your body and you become ultra powerful but the powers are chaotic and you can't wield them properly for a while, until you find a Master that will help you control your new powers. So for a while in the game, you could have lighting bolts randomly shooting out of your fingers or force jumping for no reason or having dozens of people stunned around you from all the mind tricking. And then you could have a choice of either trying to keep your powers under control until you find another Jedi (LS) or let them all out and indulge in some chaotic destruction (DS)" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, actually then you are one of those "Reborns" or "Disciples of Ragnos", just like some of us have battled in Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy. I don't think that would be a good idea for a Kotor game. Everyone would allready guess that the True Sith would find it too and O, yes, you will have to go up against an army of Dark force users. Well, anyway, I think I will make a poll, like The Architect did about Revan and the Exile, I will make one about our preferred next character. We will see which is most popular. I'll post it tommorow I think. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No it's not Ragnos' septer that is converting people... The Anomaly is in space. The PC finds a blackhole type thing and everybody believes Revan went through it. Turns out he didn't because it's not a blackhole but rather a gigantic ball of pure force energy that is drifting in space. It was created in an event similar to Malachor V but bigger and in the Unknown Region, sucking up ALL the force energy from a specific part of those region, robbing the True Sith from their force power.
  5. I know it's superhero-like, that's the idea. The event happens in the Unknown region and the master in question is Revan. He helps you manage the force and when you are ready, he sends you out to stop the True Sith, which were too powerful for him. Unfortunately there are other details in my story that I cannot reveal but I was looking for a way to meet Revan in the Unknown Region and a reason for him and the PC to stay together for a short while. He becomes kind of like Obi-Wan to the PC. Eventually their relationship would be similar to that of Ludo Kressh and Naga Sadow... But I haven't setup the Anomaly yet. And no, I don't need approval, just opinions. Thank you.

  7. I want to become a mutant and raid vaults all over the States. With big guns. In the first person perspective. :D
  8. Dennis Hopper was never awesome... after Apocalypse Now.
  9. No. But given the choice between Lando's belt and Boba Fett's armour I know which one I would want. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, my other idea. The one with the force anomaly.
  10. Since it's basically a design and SW dosnt change a great deal anyway. Calling it Boba Fetts armour would just be an easteregg. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Righ. Like Calrissian's belt. Ok. I'll put it the game then.
  11. So you could wrap your mind around the concept of Boba's armour being 4000 years old?
  12. And nudity. From Scarlet Johanssen. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How about Scartlet Johanssen killing loads of people with buckets of blood in the nude! Disclaimer: I don't think Scarlet Johanssen is sexy. Emmanuelle B
  13. Boba Fett should make an appearance. He is sooo cool. (w00t) <_<
  14. The Morrowind soundtrack is cool.
  15. Be creative astr0creep. If your a lightisider, then you'll want to learn more about why Revan killed your father and Revan will fill you in, and you won't have to fight him/her but if your a darksider, you'll want to kill Revan out of revenge. What's the point of making it an RPG if you don't have these kind of choices? Variety, replayability and decision making is what the foundations of these games are built upon. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Exactly. Well, I certainly would like to read your story around Malak's son. But do us a favour and think about a role for "the mother" as well. Maybe she is dead but she could also fill up a major role in the game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And the mother would be... let me guess... KREIA? <_<
  16. You're drunk and you can't use EDIT.
  17. No I'm not. It's one of the best GAMES ever made. I could also add Master of Orion 2 and Civilization 3.
  18. *cookie* Ah. Thank you. Yes. Rampage. Why don't they make games like that anymore ... *reminisces* <{POST_SNAPBACK}> When you reminiss(SP?) do you stroke your chin while looking upward with a small smile in the corner of your mouth? I know I do! (w00t)
  19. Or PnP D&D...
  20. Well since I find Fallout boring, I must disagree. Interesting and well executed but I need loads of coffee to play it. Earth tones in bland graphics and slow, repetitive music *snore*... X-Com UFO Defense. Ultima Underworld 1 & 2. DOOM 1. :D
  21. Rampage is a classic.
  22. Depends on your tastes in a CRPG. If you like well written and complex dialog that happens to be quite long, using a premade character with a intricate back story, along with colorful NPCs to join in a setting that is bizarre and unconventional then Planescape: Torment is for you. If you like conventional stories with a character created by yourself in a more traditional setting with a better balance in the action versus dialog, then Planescape: Torment is not for you. Personally, I think it is the second best game ever made. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The first being Fallout?
  23. Is that a rabbit in your pocket or are you just happy to see me? I had too much sugar this morning. On topic, I thought you didn't like the idea of F3? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He doesn't like the idea of Bethesda doing FO3 because according to him (and others) they can't write a good story to save their lives.
