Hey PostModernPrimate, If you have the GOG Galaxy Client, then yes, you can use verify/repair to correct this. However, if you used the GOG website, you will have to uninstall the game and redownload the 3.01 installers. It sounds like you might have installed versions that weren't compatible with each other. Hey Sanju, TWM1 is an ingame app purchased. If you have purchased that already, you just have to complete Never Far from the Queen in Act 2, you should get a letter from your Steward telling you to go to your Stronghold. And since you are level 12, you should get the letter right away once you get in game. Are you at the very end of the game inside the pit you dropped in? I'm not sure why Apple Support would send you to us if it is a purchasing issue. Thats definitely something on their end. Do you still have your email confirmation of purchasing TWM1?

Hey swirlyFR, Do you happen to have a save while Tidefall is still in your inventory? There isn't really much we can do if we can reproduce the issue. You can always use cheats to add the item to your inventory. Thanks!

Hello blarke, Welcome to the forums and thanks for joining us. I see the issue in your save and have written up a bug report. Though technically this quest has nothing to do with the Stronghold as you have to travel to Caed Nua to gain access to is. This is just a side quest. Do you have an earlier save you can load to see if the issue still occurs? Thanks a bunch!

Hello everyone, Can both of you upload a save and an output/player log via dropbox so I can take a look? If you are playing on Steam, try verifying your game cache. In your steam library, right click Pillars of Eternity > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache. If you are on GOG, did you uninstall and redownload the 3.01 installers? Thanks!

Hey phimseto, This was most likely due to that bug you are experiencing. Does it still happen if you load up an older save?

Hey Thommas, Thank for uploading those files before hand. Unfortunately I am unaware of that steam issue, but I would suggest uninstalling the game and deleting the local data in the Steam folder and try reinstalling and see if that fixes your issue. Let me know if that worked. Thanks a bunch!

Hey phimseto, We fixed the issue that was causing the problem which will be in the next patch, however this won't be a retroactive fix. You will have to load up an older save and do some stuff over again. Sorry! On a plus side. I loaded up your save before you entered the battery and I was able to complete it with no issue. Thank you for your support and assistance!

After investigating this further, it seems that the boots aren't working at all. Ray of Pain triggers but there is no actual beam and its currently doing zero damage. I have written up a bug and added it to our database. This will probably fix the issue you are experiencing now. Thanks!

Sorry for the confusion. I meant to say, since that he is already down in Sun in Shadows, the Stronghold is disable. If he used cheat to get out of the pit, there would be no way to access the Stronghold because the game thinks he is at the end of the game. Yes, if ApolloBez purchased from Steam, he can contact them, or from wherever he purchased the game from. You can also contact our publishers, Paradox Interactive.

Visitors only stay for a certain amount of time. So they could have left while you were traveling somewhere. Let me know if that is the case. Thanks.

Hey ApolloBez, Then, unfortunately there isn't much you can do without cheating. You can use the console command to teleport out of the dungeon, but you will not have access to your stronghold for the remainder of the game. If you want, you can start a new game and play on Story Time Mode to zoom past Act 1. The White March unlocks after you reach the Temple of Woedica in Act 2 and you can change the difficulty to whatever you like and go to The White March. Sorry I couldn't be any more of help.
