Some saved games not recognized
Aarik D replied to asant's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hey asant, You can use dropbox to upload files here. Are you using GOG? They have a hotfix patch that was preventing users from seeing their save files. -
The Great Reset
Aarik D replied to phimseto's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hello again, Do you happen to have a save right before you opened the door? The programmers are informing me that your save before the forge fight already has the issue. -
[3.0] Weird CPU issue
Aarik D replied to lantzk's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hey lantzk, Have you tried reinstalling the game? I looked at your output log and I notice a lot of issues. I would suggest you uninstall it, remove local files, then download the 3.01 installers. Let me know how it goes. Thanks! -
Hello ChopShop, I apologize for the inconveniences, and I understand that your time is very valuable, but without uploading a save files and an output log I can't really see whats going on with your game or system. I truly want to help you and make sure your game is working correctly. By the sounds of it, you just need to verify your game cache (if you are playing on Steam) as your installation is either missing files or some of them are corrupted. Since these issues haven't been reported on the forums for quite some time. I'll do my best to assist you with the information I have. Your game may be out of date, we are currently on v3.01.0977. If you are playing on Steam, please verify your game cache. In your Steam Library, right click Pillars of Eternity > Properties > Local Files Verify Integrity of Game Cache. If you are playing on GOG, unfortunately you will have to uninstall the game and redownload the 3.01 installers. If you are using GOG Galaxy, please verify/repair your game under the games configuration settings in the Galaxy Client. I hope that helps! If there is still an issue, please at upload an output log so I can take a look. (Note: You do not need dropbox to upload text files to the forums) Thank you for your support.

The Great Reset
Aarik D replied to phimseto's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hey phimseto, I have reproduced your bug in your save and written up a bug report. Whether if it is tied to the second to last part of Act 2, I am not sure. I'll have to test further to confirm this. Thanks for all your help! Keep on rockin! -
MAJOR BUG: Noonfrost
Aarik D replied to SparocheeDoom's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hey guys, I am unclear on the what bug is. If you go where you aren't suppose to go in the area, then the pale elves will attack you as they don't really want you exploring the frost. Thank! -
Frenzy bug
Aarik D replied to ivelios's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hey ivelios, It appears that you have given me a really older save where you are still in the very beginning of the game. Could you please upload the appropriate file? Thanks! -
[2.03] Re-rolling Sagani breaks Itumaak
Aarik D replied to a question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hey Achilles, I just checked into this and loaded up a save with said issue, but after retraining, the issue went away and she only have 1 of Graceful Retreat. The fix didn't retroactively remove the abilities on load, but if you retrain, it should clear it up. -
[2.03] Loading screen text resizes
Aarik D replied to a question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hey Achilles, This bug is still open and should be fixed in the 3.02 patch. Thanks! -
How to begin White March 2?
Aarik D replied to miezulcarpatin's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hey miezulcarpatin, I loaded up your save and everything looks good on my end. I notice quite a bit of errors in your logs. Unfortunately since you are using GOG, you will have to uninstall and reinstall the game. Unless you are using GOG Galaxy, you can use the verify/repair function which will fix your files. Let me know if that works. Thanks! -
[3.01] Modal UI icons do not group
Aarik D replied to a question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hey Achilles! Long time no see! We currently have a bug in where modals are not being grouped up. Hopefully we will have a fix in by 3.02. Thanks a bunch! -
Hey AdmiralHandsome, Your outpug log doesn't really show any helpful information. Can you boot up the game, get the white screen and then send me the output log? Thanks!

Auto-paused : combat start
Aarik D replied to Agone's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hey Agone, Thanks for pointing this out to us. I have gone ahead and written up a bug and added it to our database. Thanks a bunch! -
Hey Ryoushuhikage, Welcome to the forums and thanks for joining us. If you are inside the pit, you will no longer have access to the stronghold. But what you are explaining is that you never went down to begin with. Could you please upload a save file via dropbox so I can take a look? Please include your pre-endgame.save is there is one, or a save before you attempted to jump down the pit. Thanks!
