  1. I just had a run through the game again and I had my PC ask Kreia if she was in the Manadalorian Wars - then he said "I don't remember" her being there. Which makes me wonder if Kreia used her "force forget" on him like she seems to on everyone else. *IF* Kreia was serving during the wars, why doesn't anyone remember?(except the masters for the LS dantonine(sp) gathering)
  2. I want to see the Champ as a recruitable NPC too. Maybe trainable as a jedi. For a laugh. Even if he/she/its not a full time character. Maybe as an easter egg.
  3. and Coruscant for the win
  4. Did anyone refuse to change attire/outfit simply because they disliked the more uber gear in K1 or K2? (I must admit, I'm guilty of sticking to the 'dark jedi robe' throughout the entire game for K2.)
  5. I'm not arguing. I'm sure they could add a line about how the weave of the vibroblade congeals blood like a 'saber.
  6. They would have to be making the game first... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Goes without saying. As to the blood thing - well, as Wild Storm said, it would only be the vibroblades that would cause bloodloss.
  7. And if you had the dismemberment cheat up all the way...wooo hooo! Fried Stormtrooper head anyone? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Now, if only the Devs would read and take note... . But thanks
  8. To the original topic - I'm not so sure about the Warlock being implimented as a *good* thing. It makes me sceptical. Then again, I've never been fond of warlocks *or* psionics. A question though... will it be possible to impliment your own classes into NWN2 via the toolset? I know that it could cause a lot of imbalance, but it would still be a useful tool. Or is everything hardcoded?
  9. What I want to see in K3... Well. First of all, I want to be able to actually choose a master. And have the option to kill him/her if I'm sith. Not have one forced on me via blasted force bonds. See: Bastila/Kreia. Second I want to actually *be* trained. Proper training. With actual tests to take - both "on computer" holologs and physical force/saber tests. Third: I want to decide Revan's history & the exile's history via said tests. Along the lines of what Revan looked like/gender from the holovid/dialogue options respectively - and of course, lightside/darkside. As well as what style of combat he used. It shouldn't be overkill - you could do it in three lines of text. You could also decide what class he was. Same for the exile. Fourth: I want to be able to choose a selection of companions from both games - again, maybe via holovid. Or at the very least, decide the new jedi order. For example, if Revan was lightside, then Bastila would be head of the jedi council; if the exile was male, Handmaiden would be its historian, and so on and so forth. Fifth: I want to be able to fully customise my ship. Including upgrades. And damnit, I want to see some space battles. Where I'm not just "at the turret". The Ebon Hawk has guns - if they keep that ship as the protagonist's mobile home/base, I damn well want to use them. And install and armoury for goodness sake. I want somewhere to stow my gear. And have actual weapons inside it. Decent ones. (not uber, but decent) Sixth: I want to cut off people's limbs like they do in the films. That's always seemed to be a large part of Star Wars - end a saber fight by cutting off the opponent's hand/wrist/arm. The game engine should be advanced enough to be able to do that. Seventh: Real force bonds - and a decent use of them. Not just as a plot device to compel the PC into doing whatever it is the NPC wants. Stop using them to railroad. One game was enough - two was pushing it, a third would make it tired and old. Eighth: Put some decent dialogue options in, and use stat based reactions like they did in NWN1. If your int was below 8, for example, your character was stupid. It isn't such a stretch to do the same for K3. If my character has both Int & Wis at 16, he ought to be able to see he's being manipulated by someone like Kreia. It's so blindingly obvious its frustrating when your character acts "huh?" when he finally finds out. Ninth: I want to be able to use Kreia's "force forget" on people. And I want to be able to have more options than simply hackin' n slashin' to defeat most enemies. There are two many spawns that you just have to cut your way through. Okay, while that's all well and good... there should be more ways to defeat an enemy than just one. Even if its sneaking around them. I don't think its particularly IC for my jedi of peace and light to run around slaughtering the countryside's wildlife. Especially on a world like Telos that's trying to recover after a sith bombardment. Tenth: I want more planets. I don't care if they reused, I want to see the planets from both games and a few new ones - even if they are only there for sidequests. Being brought by the "force" to each planet is too convenient. Some planets should just *be* there. Eleventh: Fully customisable PCs. Especially on appearance and clothing. And put some decent clothing in too! Even if its a tailor skill like they did in NWNs, I want to be able to "attune" my clothing to my character - and his saber too. Twelfth: More character interaction, banter and dialogue. Some that has lasting effects. I want to be able to initiate banter without having to see the words "never mind" come up on screen each time. Likewise, I want my companions to ask me questions. Even if there's an option there to tell them to "shut up". I want to be able to have arguments with them and be able to "kiss and make up" with them afterwards without it being a romance or having an overall negative effect. Thirteenth: The option to have more mini-games, upgrade my swoop bike, pazaak, turret games - and throw in a few more. With the option to decline if its not your thing. Fourteenth: I want to meet up with Revan and the Exile - both of whom are NPCs - and I want the option to kill them. Yes, kill them dead and put an end to the Revan Saga. I don't want to be forced to kill them - or forced to see them die for plot reasons, but I want the option to see them die. Either way, wrap it up - even if its a "happily ever after" thing. While we're on that note, let's see some proper epilogues and endings too. Fifteenth: I want to see NPCs die during missions - perhaps at the end of a world/completed quest. I don't mean that they *have* to die, just that there's the option to see them die. I don't care how its implimented as long as it is. And for goodness sake, I want the option to back up my threats - "don't fail me again" -> npc fails -> "you've failed me for the last time" -> NPC is forced choked to death by PC. Sixteenth: Improve the random loot generator. No more unique items being multiple spawned, or finding Exar Kun
  10. The screen shots look nice - the way NWN1 should have looked, imo.
  11. Good luck
  12. Decent clothing/armour. Fully customisable. And in black. (it annoys me that the villains always seem to look better than the PCs)
  13. I like charging up the Sky Ramp (I think its the sky ramp at least) to the Palace on Onderon. "I ended a war single-handedly" is one of my favourite lines
  14. Recommend: Dungeon Keeper
  15. Darth Malak vs Darth Traya/Kreia Architect: Why does everyone think that Kreia is more powerful than Malak? Just because Malak was extremely easy to beat in the game it doesn't mean he is weak. Storywise he is not weak. Understand this, just say when Bastila fights Malak on the Leviathin, if you were controlling Bastila, she'd win, but because your not, it comes down to who is more powerful storywise and Malak won. Understand. In regards to that - Malak may not have been weak physically, but as has been mentioned on other threads, he reeks of having a galaxy-sized insecurity complex. In a straight sabre fight, I suspect that Malak would win - but it isn't simply a straight fight; words would be involved too. Kreia would play off his insecurities by comparing him to Revan, work him up into a frenzy and he would play right into her hands. That is how she would win. Juhani vs Mira (Force-User) Architect: I think they'd become arch-enemies. They seem so different to me. When I said they'd become bestest-best friends I wasn't being entirely serious. While they are different, they are both light side. (or were in my game). Both of them are anti-evil for the most part even though each do things differently. I think they would talk before crossing sabres and work things out without fighting. If they were to fight, I would say Juhani would win because of the fact she has dark side powers and she's a guardian - charge straight in and take Mira down before she could react. Either that, or a stealth battle.
  16. Thanks . I hadn't realised putting in multiple quotes via copy and paste from the same poster didn't work.
  17. Maybe Revan was just abstract?
  18. Darth Malak vs Darth Traya/Kreia Kreia wins, hands down. She would most likely manipulate Malak into jumping off the Star Forge into the sun... The Exile vs Master Vandar The Exile would 'force consume' Vander Darth Nihilus vs Revan Revan, of course. Because (LSM) he's like got, Bastilia with him and if he lost, she'd turn dark side and throw the galaxy into chaos! " :D Darth Sion vs Master Kavar and Master Zez-Kai Ell I'm not too sure about this. If it's two against one... I'd go with the jedi, because Kavar is a weapon master. Atris vs Bastila Shan Bastila, of course. Because if she lost, Revan would come and get revenge - and that way, she'd win anyway. Atris wouldn't be able to beat Revan in a hundred years. Master Uthar vs Master Zhar Uthar. Simply because he's not prone to weakness and Zhar appears to be. Yuthura-Ban vs Master Dorak Good question. I'm gonna call a draw on this one. Darth Bandon vs Master Vrook Sadly, Vrook would win. He'd bore Bandon to death with lectures about betrayal, the dark side, and how his master is a traitor. Visas Marr vs Brianna Kae (Force-User) This is echani style right? So they're both nekkid? I think that Brianna would win because Visas would get distracted about her modesty (remember the dance outfit, anyone?) Jolee Bindo vs Mical the Disciple (Force-User) Jolee would win - but likely the two would start up a discussion and not fight at all. If they did, it would be verbal - and since he's such a grumpy old git, Jolee would win. Juhani vs Mira (Force-User) Juhani wouldn't fight Mira - they'd become bestest best friends! Zaalbar vs Hanharr Probably Hanharr. Zaalbar whines too much. And is honourable - which Hanharr would take advantage of. Mission/T3-M4 vs HK-47 HK, of course! Silly question! Canderous Ordo/Mandalore vs Bao-Dur (Force-User) Canderous would win. Bao-Dur is too timid (LS exile) and Canderous lives for battle. Atton Rand (Force User) and GO-TO vs Master Lonna Vash Vash would most likely team up with Atton to take out Goto while Atton hits on her... Then she'd get annoyed with him and they'd fight. Not sure how it would end though... <_<
  19. ...followed by "Another One Bites the Dust" & "Kings of the Universe"?
  20. Personally, I can't stand the FR setting. I wish they'd make a new setting and set a game like NWN2 in that instead. After mucho thought, 30 hours would be fine for the OC, as long as it was decent, with a quality replayable storyline and decent interactions... provided they make a solid followup to the OC to continue it. If the OC doesn't get past level 10, I'd be okay with it. Anything more is pushing it for 30 hours.
  21. I play Lightside... with dark force powers. I tend to only get the Cure, occasionally speed and the rest are all force choke, kill, storm, etc. I don't like plauge or insanity though. Well, in K1, Revan was Darth Revan. I think he should retain some of his former powers. Although I don't like to use force storm or kill every encounter, I do enjoy having it there as a ...last resort. I somehow feel that using the force constantly is... juvenile and flaunting your power isn't big or clever. I always remember the quote in the game Starcraft from Tassadar to Kerrigan - which went something like this, "Not all of us choose to flaunt our power in adolescent displays" (or something along those lines). As to K2... well, with Kreia's teaching about having too narrow a perspective, I figure that it's good to take a balanced view/knowledge of the force, even if I choose to play Lightside.
  22. In that case, I guess I shouldn't have massacred them all... oh well, I'm sure I can er, tame all the beasts with my beast trick. Or something. Too bad I couldn't use force revival on Kreia... and toss her into the pit alive.
  23. I like the armband... I don't even bother with shields. I don't think I've ever had to use one in the game. (Even on Peragus). +1 con is okay I guess, not particually useful but not useless either. Who cares? It's mine.
