Played basketball this morning for the first time in a few years. Felt so good to be back out on the court again but my shot was more like a total stranger rather than an old friend. I swear the stupid basketball ring was also plotting against me Another round of layoffs at work, nobody on my immediate team this time though

The weird thing I've noticed about the email thing is that everyone I know who worked with me in military, or is still in the military, or gov't contractor all think it's a much bigger deal than those I know who don't work in IT(with clearances), security, and/or g14 classified super secret squirrel stuff. Most of these people are also left of center like myself so while I don't deny there is a lot of opposition frothing at the mouth I also don't think it's a Republican plot to make something out of nothing. I still don't think anything at all will come out of it simply because of who it is... at most some underling may get thrown under the bus

Picked up Stellaris from GMG for 30 bucks thanks to them having a 25% off code (SPACE25). Downloading it now but probably won't get to play it until Wednesday

Not to gang up on Bruce but I believe we had the same conversation about young people I also don't think the left has a monopoly on it either as you get both sides basically saying some group is too insert adjective here to know what's good for them. Do you mind sharing why you dont want him to be VP? I am interested in how Sanders supporters will see this? I would lose some respect for him* and as Leferd said he is better off in the Senate since the VP spot is usually to shore up a weakness, reach a demographic, or groom a successor and doesn't have much real power My current pick would probably be Tulsi Gabbard even though Julian Castro is the favorite but like I said I would hope the VP would come from the Sanders camp *probably the same for Elizabeth Warren but not to the same degree

As a Sanders supporter I would not want him as the VP I'd rather he use whatever pull he has at the convention to push his issues and possibly for a VP more in line with his values

I got the BFA but totally missed the flip flops. Good call My second concern was her position, I can't see her right elbow but at best it's resting in the middle of her thigh and at worst it's floating like her left arm. Sure, there isn't much kick from a 5.56 but it's still pretty unstable and generally lousy form

I'm going to disagree with the others a bit because I only used the SCAR and an actual sniper rifle (forget which one since I haven't played in while) once I got a little better with the mechanics. Just shoot the flamethrower guys in the tank and watch them blow up and take out the guys next to them Still got overwhelmed occasionally but it was pretty rare and only when I was completely surrounded and had nowhere to run but in general I had better luck with a few well placed shots over spraying bullets

This seems really unnecessary..sorry guys I just think this type of initiative is more divisive than helpful Shouldn't I be scared of these guys? I would be. But then I tend to look like whatever (light brown) race that people want to project onto me and I've had a run in with some minutemen militia types once upon a time.

To be fair I don't think there are many politician who would put their party or whatever they are representing before their own aspirations. But maybe I have an unreasonably negative opinion of politicians. I have been pretty negative lately Also, I was reading something about Hillary not raising nearly as much money for down ballot races as was claimed. Maybe. If I was a Democrat then I'd sure hope so. Personally, I'm not so sure she'd put the party before her last chance to be president. I'm sure if she had no chance then sure but if she had still had a decent chance of winning the general election at a cost to the party... I dunno. I think she might risk it Not that I think anything is going to come of it, mind you. I've had the Malazan and Black Company books recommended to me but I haven't yet had a chance to get to them I really liked the first book of the Raven's Shadow Trilogy, Blood Song, but the next two book were less and less appealing. I also enjoyed The Thousand Names and the Way of Kings but I also thought their second books were less interesting and I'm not exactly very picky either Sorry, I know that's not very helpful

Now all Sanders has to do is get like 80% of California.... I did not see Cruz dropping out. I guess they've completely given up hope for a contested convention.

The new chapter was better than most and you can actually use stealth this time around. Sure it makes the chapter even shorter but also much less repetitive, if you're stealth class that is. Didn't stick around for the eternal championship, maybe next month
