  2. Not Garibaldi...
  3. I'm worried that basketball game might hurt US-China relations Which candidate can speak to that?
  4. Haha He said this is like a 76er's game
  5. There is the #DemExit thing going on but I already left the party not long after the caucus here. I mean, I only joined the party to cast my vote in the caucus in the first place, so there's that I think that if Hillary loses they will still pin it on Bernie, I don't think there is anyway around that. Easier to point fingers than to look in the mirror
  6. So you want the Dems to control the Senate in case Trump tries to appoint someone to the Supreme Court who might actually defend the Constitution? OK. I know I do stupid page break something something
  7. I think she would have won it anyway but by a very narrow margin simply because the core party people do indeed support her. I believe it would have been a contested convention and that the superdelegates would have been the deciding vote in her favor... more than they already were since I don't think she ever hit the number of pledged delegates needed to secure the nomination
  8. The problem is that if he lost he was supposed to lose fair and square. The DNC giving Clinton an advantage nullifies any obligation he had to support Clinton. But irrespective of the favoritism shown towards Clinton from some in the DNC, Hilary still won the popular vote amongst Democrat supporters I'm not sure why this is ignored, the members of the DNC didnt tell or force Democrats to vote a certain way....we can see from the Trump victory if the political message resonates with people it doesnt matter what the established political institutions think And there were a lot of people crying foul about either not being able to vote or having their votes not counted in the Dem primary. There were several posts about it in previous incarnations of this thread
  9. He always said he would back her if/when she got the nomination Just like some of us said we wouldn't support her at such a time We both kept our word. I don't see a problem
  10. All things are excusable in pursuit of the greater good Though, I read that Turner's creds weren't stripped but that some other drama did occur. I must say that I find this all quite entertaining now that I no longer care. The speakers aren't as interesting as they were in the RNC but the other drama and shenanigans are pretty good
  11. Apparently there was a walkout as well but it didn't seem to get much coverage
  12. Gunliness is next to godliness Yeah, no. That one got away from me
  13. https://what-if.xkcd.com/1/
  14. A friend left a Leinenkugel's sampler pack and I've gone through pretty much the whole thing I'm on the ginger shandies now and I don't like them at all but I can't stop drinking them
  15. Problem is that I don't think he can. He always said the movement was bigger than him anyway I don't think there is anything that can be done at this point because I doubt Hillary will concede anything else and a lot of people may not settle for anything less than a Bernie nomination. I figure that most of the people who would listen to him and support Clinton are already doing so and the rest while not actively supporting Trump don't feel that him winning would be the end of the world If Trump wins they get another shot in 4 years and if not then who knows when they'll get another chance to run a Sanders type candidate Just my drunken 2 cents
  16. I don't think it's real but don't have Twitter so I dunno
  17. The main compromise is that while I'm sure Stein and Johnson have their own sets of flaws, they're far too small to be as criminal as Hillary and it would truly take some effort to be as "special" as Trump, not to mention that if a third party were to somehow pull even 20% of the vote, it might encourage people to give new parties a shot in future elections, which is clearly needed, given the DNC corruption. Anybody that is against vaccines is absolutely incompetent to lead country. It is flaw that either Trump or Clinton don't come even close to. I don't know if I would be so quick to discredit someone's entire record due to one quirk. Even so, I'd still argue that Stein would be hard-pressed to ban vaccines in the USA, whereas Hillary installing TPP for example, she has the backing of every lobbyist in the country. Pick your poison wisely, and I would argue that we have an antidote for the ones Johnson and Stein may carry. It is not quirk it is health hazard for entire nation that risks millions of lives. EDIT: You don't need to even stop vaccinations fully to cause big health problems. You need to decrease vaccination percent only ten/twenty percent and most of herd immunity is gone and lots of disappeared diseases will come back and do devastating damage. So president that is against vaccinations is quite dangerous thing for nation that already suffers from anti-vaccination movements. I've not read that she opposed vaccines only some political non-answer pandering on Reddit
  18. I saw Star Trek Beyond. My wife loved it but I'm not sure how to feel
  19. Is it just me or does it look kinda like a Klingon ship with a saucer attached to it? Especially at about 50 seconds in
