Let's see, dropping comic and video game movies... The Martian and Interstellar were interesting I liked the Edge of Tomorrow Jurassic World was fun if stupid. Probably say the same about Godzilla and Transformers but those may be more stupid than fun Jupiter Ascending was pretty bad as was the Divergent series and Lucy I haven't seen these so I can't say Ex Machina Mad Max Terminator Tomorrowland Chappie Probably a lot more I'm forgetting

The drinking thread
My wife got my ice ball molds but I don't use them unless I'm making an old fashioned or something. I like my liquor neat for the most part and if I want it chilled then I'll just throw it in the freezer instead of adding ice. That usually only happens for vodka though since I like bourbon, tequila, and scotch at room temp

BvS. It was a lot better than I was expecting but to be fair I was expecting the worst comic movie of all time. I was expecting it to be so bad that it would leap from screen and strike me in the face and/or biscuits... which were buttermilk, thanks for asking. I watched the 3 hour extendo version so maybe that had something to do with it

The 'Sidian Tyranny thread
This prompts a question i've always wanted to ask: Dyes such as the young lady is wearing in her hair, and that are presumably used on clothing, how expensive are good ones in this Bronze Age setting? How many washes can they stand before fading? Are there specific creatures, ores or plants that are needed to cultivate the best dyes, and what prices do these command? Can an average citizen of Kyras' tyranny afford these in any quantity? Dyed by the blood of her enemies, naturally :D Halloween release date confirmed

The Great Game Giveaway: Tuesday Edition
Nope, Satellite Reign was the first (and only) to go and it took about an hour and a half Which one? I don't remember or know how to use the search function PS I've wanted to post this clip somewhere for the last few days and I just gave up waiting for the right moment

The US Election 2016, Part IV
I gave to Sanders monthly and I've voted consistently since 2008 and inconsistently before that back to 2000 which was my first election (that I skipped). It's really easy to vote in Colorado though as we do it by mail so all you have to do is walk/crawl/run/worm to the mailbox

I'm worried that basketball game might hurt US-China relations Which candidate can speak to that?- The US Election 2016, Part IV
Haha He said this is like a 76er's game- The US Election 2016, Part IV
There is the #DemExit thing going on but I already left the party not long after the caucus here. I mean, I only joined the party to cast my vote in the caucus in the first place, so there's that I think that if Hillary loses they will still pin it on Bernie, I don't think there is anyway around that. Easier to point fingers than to look in the mirror- The US Election 2016, Part IV
So you want the Dems to control the Senate in case Trump tries to appoint someone to the Supreme Court who might actually defend the Constitution? OK. I know I do stupid page break something something- The US Election 2016, Part IV
I think she would have won it anyway but by a very narrow margin simply because the core party people do indeed support her. I believe it would have been a contested convention and that the superdelegates would have been the deciding vote in her favor... more than they already were since I don't think she ever hit the number of pledged delegates needed to secure the nomination- The US Election 2016, Part IV
The problem is that if he lost he was supposed to lose fair and square. The DNC giving Clinton an advantage nullifies any obligation he had to support Clinton. But irrespective of the favoritism shown towards Clinton from some in the DNC, Hilary still won the popular vote amongst Democrat supporters I'm not sure why this is ignored, the members of the DNC didnt tell or force Democrats to vote a certain way....we can see from the Trump victory if the political message resonates with people it doesnt matter what the established political institutions think And there were a lot of people crying foul about either not being able to vote or having their votes not counted in the Dem primary. There were several posts about it in previous incarnations of this thread- The US Election 2016, Part IV
He always said he would back her if/when she got the nomination Just like some of us said we wouldn't support her at such a time We both kept our word. I don't see a problem- The US Election 2016, Part IV
All things are excusable in pursuit of the greater good Though, I read that Turner's creds weren't stripped but that some other drama did occur. I must say that I find this all quite entertaining now that I no longer care. The speakers aren't as interesting as they were in the RNC but the other drama and shenanigans are pretty good- The US Election 2016, Part IV
I roll 20s- The US Election 2016, Part IV
Apparently there was a walkout as well but it didn't seem to get much coverage- Getting it in the hole. Basketball 2K15-2K16

A friend left a Leinenkugel's sampler pack and I've gone through pretty much the whole thing I'm on the ginger shandies now and I don't like them at all but I can't stop drinking them - What's on the idiot box?
