  1. They got our power back on an hour and half later and it woke me up when all the lights suddenly turned back on
  2. Service guarantees citizenship PS I have no problem with military running for office. It's pretty political as you move up in rank anyway, though not in a partisan way.
  3. Power is out after something lit up the night over at the foosball stadium. Guess it's time to go to bed
  4. For some reason I read that as Dennis Rodman
  5. Why Everyone Believes in Magic (Even You)
  6. Jerry Van Dyke
  7. If I were a video game journalist, which I'm totally not, I pretty much have my next article here. Good thing I'm not one then... seriously, I'm not. All I can say is that number 7 will SHOCK you!
  8. Not sure if this should go here or in the TV thread because I saw it on Netflix and didn't bother to look up if it ever had a theatrical release or not. Also, it's movie length and since I'm already here... The Farthest: Voyager in Space PS I liked it a lot. Learned a bunch of stuff too.
  9. I got a lot of stares in Russia but I like to think it's because I'm just so damned handsome
  10. I'm curious to see how intelligent weapons pan out and if they have the same issues
  11. I somehow forgot about Colonization Woe is me
  12. I always get 71 year old men and kids mixed up
  13. This is a concern for me as well. Especially since my wife is white and I tend to fit whatever darker skinned ethnicity someone wants to apply to me.
  14. I'm back to SWTOR since LOTRO is back to crashing several times an hour
  15. We had something similar in the military
  16. I dunno why but I liked every even numbered Civ game My dad bought his first computer after we spent all day on Civ2. I think I already told most of that story though.
  17. Napa is also a possibility because my wife loves wine probably more than me and she's never been to the Bay Area. I have family in Vallejo but I haven't been there in almost a decade by now so it'd be nice to see them again. The tough part for me is that I always want to go some place new whereas my wife would be perfectly happy with going back to Positano which was her favorite place ever.
  18. We're not exactly sure when we're going to go since we haven't decided on where we are going, that may be a little backwards but we're weird like that. I think we are going to do two separate trips, one in the US and then another abroad if the cost isn't too bad. That is unless the domestic trip is to somewhere like Hawaii, which is a really strong contender, then it'll likely be just the one trip. Plus we always tend to overdo it. I've been to one of the closer keys, maybe Largo, but not very far out. I actually lived in Florida City for a short while when I got out of the military. I'm still bummed I never made it out to Alaska Thanks to everyone for all the suggestions!
  19. I think I quit IWD2 after the first town. It was too combat focused and I didn't care all that much for the combat. I never tried the first game
  20. I've never been to New Orleans but it's on my list of cities to visit. I have driven though Louisiana when I did a road trip from AZ to NC but I want to say Shreveport is where I stopped. I've been to about 15 other states without the missus and she's been to Hawaii (the big island) before but I haven't.
  21. I like food. Everything else is gravy.... mmm gravy
