With only a few months between the releases of the movies it seems to have always been unlikely to get the home release of the first before theatrical release of the second and that's without BP overperforming and having longer legs than expected. That said, I'm in agreement with Sharp_One that it's probably not mandatory unless you are die hard about it which I'm guessing not since you skipped the movie in theaters. So far the Marvel movies have been kept pretty accessible so other than a few callbacks I doubt you'll miss much. EDIT. Just checked out the last Thor and the DVD came 123 days after the US theatrical release. The time between the US releases of Black Panther and Infinity War is only 70 days

I watched the first episode. It's pretty much what the reviews suggested, perfectly average and not very exciting. Something that struck me halfway through was how much of an immersion-breaker The Forests of British Columbia have become. It's hard to believe they're on an alien planet when one's been seeing them trees on TV for two and a half decades. But yeah, that's not really the show's fault. The wife and I often laughed at that in Psych. It was maybe more obvious than usual that while all the aerial shots were actually of Santa Barbara, everything else was Greater Vancouver/Pacific Northwestish. Pasta with a mushroom cream sauce. I used the little round pasta, oricchiette or something like that. A did a mushroom medley heavy on crimini which I cooked with a little garlic and butter. I've been using ghee a lot lately. I put some dried mushrooms in water and used that mushroom water whenever I needed more liquid. After the mushrooms cooked down I added cream and just let it simmer while the pasta cooked.Then salt to taste and add drained pasta to sauce. Parmesan cheese to top
