Might be worth it just to see how big they think they went. It is an interesting trainwreck just try not to think about it very much, or at all really, if possible.

The episodes are really hit and miss

ARE is just light edutainment. There's a clear bias in most of the episodes but I treat it like Wikipedia as he also cites his sources, usually displayed on screen, and it makes it easier to find more info on a given subject. Of course his gimmick is to ruin whatever the topic is so you know how he's going to come at whatever the subject is.

What We Left Behind is the name of the doc. It had a crowdfunding campaign some years ago and we finally got to have a look at it for a short while last week. The streaming platform they used really sucked though and I have no idea when we'll get to have it for keeps in either digital or whatever physical media exists nowadays.

We'll probably start the second season today, it was just the way that the finale ended that was offputting. I'd highly recommend the show so far. The DS9 doc was pretty good. Nana Visitor (Kira) really did not like Marc Alaimo (Dukat).

Finished season 1 of Community. Was great and hilarious up until the end where it limped across the finish line.

Burned myself out on STO so I'm back to LOTRO

I'm still about this

As I've said before, I haven't yet watched any of the new season but my expectations have been low ever since the show passed the books. I've never even read the books but there was a noticeable dip in quality in the story that I can't seem to pin on anything else. The TV writers just aren't nearly as good without leaning heavily on the books as a guide and seem to fall back on a lot of standard fantasy tropes.

Who knew that hanging sliding closet doors was so hard to do all by yourself? Completely unrelated, I hung 6 sliding closet doors today. Really heavy ones.
