Weird but that happens to me sometimes when I write a post and then delete something. Not sure how to fix it. -

Thanks. I no longer need to edit lists and stuff because I don't maintain my game giveaway list anymore but thanks all the same I do still have random formatting issues but I've just been trying to make my posts less jazzy

I still need to play TW3 but I've been dragging my feet because the second game put me off the series pretty hard and I'veheard you have to play different characters at some points in the game which is an instant turn off. -

I was randomly inspired to pick CK2 back up again but I guess some patch had come out and my saves are broken because the main mod I was using is not compatible and whatnot. So I fired up a new game as a custom Doge of Amalfi since that's my wife's most favorite place that we've ever been. Less than 50 years later I control a good chunk of Italy and I'm married to a Byzantine princess (though I'm no where near strong enough to press that claim yet). I forgot how much bigger retinues can get for a republic and I have a large one, retinue that is, and a nice standing army at my family mansion. I'm also l really, really rich so I can afford mercs as needed. I've had some pretty lucky breaks so far because there have been a lot of nearby revolts which I have taken advantage of by attacking whichever side was losing or I didn't have a truce with and taking a province here and there. The only thing I really have to worry about there is that I have to win before either side does but it's been mostly easy pickings otherwise. The only really close call was when I tried to take Rome from the pope. Luckily for me the other Catholic nations took their sweet time before joining in and the Pope surrendered just before their stacks of doom made it to me. -
Where to find an easy scapegoat, maybe?

^Sounds pretty close to the RLM review I saw. No desire to see the movie but was interested in how it turned out.

I think it's a slippery slope type of argument I'm curious about the next debate since unless a figurative literal ton of people drop out we're going to have more people participating.
-
Hmm, that was interesting, I guess. Did anyone else catch the debate? Thought it was a bit odd of one of the talking heads to so openly support Biden during the debate. I think I heard her say something about him twice but I didn't expect it to happen so early in this race during breaks at the actual debate. Maybe earlier too because I only tuned in for the back 9. No idea who she was either. It's probably weird that's my biggest takeaway. Maybe I'm just overly sensitive because I do not like Biden very much as the nominee.

The systems are a bit simpler too and spell creation was a neat idea

Have you Tyranny'd? It's a bit more action focused but it does still have a lot of text to wade through compared to something like Diablo

I want all of the above Excepting maybe a first person game

Possbly and I just stopped noticing. The only glaring issues I'm still having are the same, editing and formatting posts.

I've also always gotten all 4 tires replaced at the same time and then kept the best old one as a spare. When I can afford it that is. The last 2 cars I've had didn't even have a space for the spare. I don't know what it is but I feel better throwing on a spare than I do driving with run-flats.

All this cheese steak talk made me make another one today. This time I did make my own cheese sauce but I wish I had checked the fridge beforehand. I only had half a slice of American cheese because my mother-in-law is weird and does stuff like that. Still had some provolone and that was it soon kept digging in the back of the fridge and found some Mexican cheese blend so I sprinkled that in with some parm. It actually turned out pretty good considering. Nearly forgot we didn't have flour for the roux so I ended up using some sweet brown rice flour that we have for some reason. I went the sour cream route as well. Now and for the rest of the week it's Ensures for breakfast and lunch with a sensible bowl of honey nut Cheerios for dinner.

I actually like Jersey Mike's Big Kahuna cheese steak

I think we should keep all options on the table because what we've been doing isn't working. That's why I said it should be acceptable to have talks not necessarily that we should talk to them. Still, it's not like we don't already negotiate with terrorists. I also don't think they should come to the US for any talks either. If the president wants a face to face meeting it should be held in some 3rd country. Realistically, if we aren't willing to go all in, which we aren't, then we need to get out. Bad optics or not, how long do we keep throwing our people and our money away? It's insanity. Sorry, I have strong feelings on this issue.

I agree with Zor that talking with them is acceptable* because killing them hasn't given us the results we've been looking for. It's been 18 years, a trillion dollars, and most importantly, thousands of Americans have been killed and many, many more injured. *not on or around 9/11 though, that's poor judgment

I used provolone and a little white american cheese (the colby and cheddar blend kind rather than the pasteurized process cheese product). My wife refuses to eat cheese whiz and american cheese that isn't real cheese. I've told her that cheese whiz is the traditional cheese so she says give her the non-traditional cheeses. I'll have to experiment with making my own cheese sauces. Thanks for the tips.

Gromnir made a good point about how useful straws can be and I'd have to agree. In southern AZ where it's blazing hot and everything is super far apart straws are practically mandatory because everyone is always in their cars and taking the lid off is just asking for something bad to happen. Not sure but my local recycling place doesn't do straws but they will, of course, do bottles. You're in a bigger city so who knows, they might just load it all on a boat and ship it to another country.
