Solo paladin vs dragons v2.03
Flanked, fatigued, no boots of stability, no rymrgrand mantle... the rng gods love you. My strategy was for common people.

Low Micromanagement Party Setup on Hard
Paladin tank, fighter tank and barbarian 2H in the front, chanter with bow using summons and 2 rangers in the back. The barbarian with increased survability from fighter/paladin/chanter will be your first AoE damage. Chanter and paladin can add later even more AoE damage. Pets and summons will ensure that nothing will bother rangers/chanter.

Paladin solo vs Thaos (PotD)
It was a graze too, but grazes are converted to misses and reflected (you can see how it works when I show the logs for the first one).

Paladin solo vs Thaos (PotD)
I updated the video (unfortunatelly I can't edit the links in the first post anymore) of the last fight using this time Aila Braccia and St. Ydwen's Redeemer (stole the idea from AndreaColombo ). I was a bit lucky with the Cleansing Flame reflections however it felt good destroying Thaos... https://youtu.be/sKSHWKRjtZY

Attack speed 2.0
You're correct. Everything is divided by (1+DexBonus)
-
Attack speed 2.0
50% reload speed means you end up with (base/1.5) and if you add gunner it will be (base/1.8 ).

Attack speed 2.0
Hi Kaylon, can you confirm what you mean by the second paragraph here? As in, if a character is dual wielding without any other speed buffs and has two weapon style, does he get .2+.2 (for each weapon) modded to his recovery? No, it means that the speed bonuses you have on your left weapon will stack with your other speed bonuses.
-
Attack speed 2.0
The bonus from shield is considered speed too. So it's 1.2*1.15*1.15*1.15*1.33-(0.4.-0.15)=2.18 and your barbarian can wear even plate.
-
Attack speed 2.0
Prior to 2.0 all items with attack speed were bugged and did nothing, you had basically only speeds from different categories which were stacking additively - that's why everyone supposed speed was additive. Dual wielders get also the speed(s) from the left hand besides the Two Weapons Style...

[v3.00.929 PX1-Steam] Swift Aim's reload buff surpresses Sure-Handed Ila
It stacked before 2.0, it doesn't stack in 2.03 either.

Attack speed 2.0
If you reduce recovery to 0% then DW, 1H and S&S would all attack at the same speed. Dual wielders can however reach 0% recovery even without buffs...

Attack speed 2.0
There is a complete excel file which is still pretty accurate, however some formulas are outdated. http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/72272-combat-mechanics-attack-speed-recovery/?p=1625543

Best hunting bow for ranger?
Persistence has the highest single target dps of all ranged weapons, especially vs high DR enemies.

Musings on smart barbarians (INT and Carnage)
Hit more foes with carnage, keep Frenzy and Bloodlust for longer, heal more with Savage Defiance, keep more foes sickened with Threatening Presence, make better use of on-hit/crit effects, use Heart of Fury for massive damage, and in general be more useful. Yes, that's on paper... However you rarely find situations with more than 3-4 enemies clustered together. The real question is if it's worth being able to hit 1-2 more enemies once in a while or is it better to strike 3-4 enemies faster and harder all the time.

Musings on smart barbarians (INT and Carnage)
I have, for a bit. I found it materially worse than a 3 INT fighter or rogue. That's rather vague... What a barb with 18INT can do so much better compared to a barb with 3INT?

Musings on smart barbarians (INT and Carnage)
Have you tried to play a 3INT barbarian with high MIG/DEX/PER and only passives? It's very effective and low management if you build him well.

Ranger Solo VS Alpine Dragon (PotD)
With Lenas Er wounding shot and venom strike would stick indeed more easily, but I would lose also a big chunk of damage which comes from the wounds. And all enemies are doing cold damage to which the dragon is immune, so even with no defense at all they wouldn't be able to damage him. While I have the protection from fear he can't crit me with his aura (and I can't let him fear me because my accuracy would take a big hit). Also I need the speed to move fast out of the dragon's range. What I would change however is to replace penetrating shot (which doesn't help at all vs the dragon) with apprentice sneak attack and also try combusting wounds on him... However I fear he would die too fast and won't have the time to kill too many of his minions...

Ranger Solo VS Alpine Dragon (PotD)
I finally managed to kill him with my ranger an I must say it was easier than expected considering that my character wasn't even fully optimized (no durgan enchantments, no scale breaker...). Now I am 100% positive that a ranger can also beat the game solo without skipping any encounter. https://youtu.be/NBPgwipx3OM

Melee dps Chanter build.
I know, I just give the method to show it's possible to get them without cheats.
-
Melee dps Chanter build.
Before opening it one of the options is to wait to see what happens there and you can choose this option over and over with a single click and make the time pass. It's less tedious than resting where you have to click multiple times each time you want to rest...

Melee dps Chanter build.
You have to force your luck a little to get two Rimecutters. You go to Lle a Rhemen where it's less tedious to "wait" (because you only have to click once) and you wait until Azzuro visits the stronghold. The item he sells is random and if you save before the day he shows up you can reload until he has what you want. Or if you have enough money you can simply wait until he comes again.
