  1. My new ATI 5870 card is showing glitches. I can see little white spots and sometimes little red spots when I do video playback or playing games. At first I thought it may be an Windows XP thing since at that time there wasn't really any support for it driver wise. Now that I have Windows 7 I see it still exists. Some times it disappears when I do ALT TAB and go back to the program again.
  2. Just like Oblivion. If they can't get more voice actors, at least get ones who can alter their voice to sound different.
  3. They will have their revenge! I would have ignored her personally. She obviously has some issues with herself and so called violence.
  4. Yes quite.
  5. The original ending failed. If you have Fawkes, Charon or even RL3 if would be more logical to send them into that radiation than to foolish die yourself. As I said I never cared much for the main quest especially when you get chastised for being such a "coward".
  6. I believe that concludes constructive discussion on this topic. Thanks for playing.

  9. Its all good. Just run to the nearest rocks so they can't get to you.
  10. Bah internet rumors. I just got my card today and it has drivers that work with WinXP. Well works with XP some what. I find glitches in the games from time to time. There is no support at the ATI site in regards to the Catalyst drivers for XP. Well I'll see when I get Windows 7 and if I see these glitches again then it must be a faulty card.
  11. Fallout 3 is a great game. Great graphics. Good side quests. Sub par main story. Lots of replay value!
  12. You have to watch what type of motherboard you have. An Nvidia specific board isn't going to work with an ATI card. Unless technology has changed since my last full computer build early last year.
  13. Yeah the monitor is my next thing in the future. I only have a 19" wide screen. That will have to wait since I used what free money I have to buy a new motherboard for my other computer since that died. The only problem with the 5870 is its too perfect. It shows imperfections in WAV and MPEG movies. Even so called HD WAV movies.
  14. So far from what I've seen the faces look half way decent.
  15. That 5870 is a sexy card. Its nice to play Fallout without having stuttering because of intense animations. This is at 1440*900 at Ultra settings and before with my 3870 at 1024 with low setting it would choke.
  16. Bah internet rumors. I just got my card today and it has drivers that work with WinXP.
  17. Sounds like a Star Wars thing.......

  21. Loser Detroit. Little too late to get it together and try to do something. But they choked at the last minute. Go protection.
  22. I just placed my order for the Sapphire 5870 and Windows 7. Sapphire was one of the cheapest of the 5870 cards and had good reviews at Newegg.
  23. I am not replacing the CPU in this computer again. Finally installed my Q9550. Bad enough I had to take the whole motherboard out in order to get the after market CPU cooler off but on top of that, my BIOS was outdated and didn't recognize my quad, then my keyboard stopped working and then my mouse. Well the mouse stopped working permanently after it got slammed on the desk. Went through the pain in the ass process of getting my BIOS updated and finally got my system to recognize the CPU as a Quad and not a P3 Xeon. Now to get another motherboard for the other computer and call it good.
  24. Kotor 3 is the only wish of mine.
  25. Fallout 3 again. Decided to try some adult mods that I saw mentioned in the Fallout 3 thread and some others I found.
