The 5870 is here..
One of these days we might get some 5870s back in stock. Didn't have this problem when they first came out, when I ordered that Saphirre card.

The 5870 is here..
Its back and not in stock of course. They need to get it together. WTF is the deal with all of these 5870 cards being out of stock?

How can a new product be deactivated already? I was going to get this but I guess I won't now.

If you RMA it and got it from Newegg, looks like it will be a while get it. A lot of their 5000 series ATI cards are out of stock. Looks like I'll be waiting for my replacement for a while.

Windows 7 OEM version
I wonder if my old college e-mail still works.

Back in my day manuals were the size of a small books full of lots of important information. These days they're skimpy at 10-15 pages with not much information besides the basics.

Good RPGs need nice size manuals like Baldur's Gate 2 and Fallout 2.

Mods have better weapons than the original game. FOOK used a lot of neat weapons which is why I like that mod. Yes give us various selections in weapons and styles. Degradation of the original game is unrealistic. Most weapons degrade far too fast. I have guns that belonged to my grandfather and they never needed any parts replaced, just general periodic cleaning.

Movies you have seen recently
Transformers 2. It was okay nothing like the first one.

I've used Diamond and MSI cards and haven't had any problems from them. Diamond I have used mostly throughout my computer building years. MSI I tried when I bought two cards for Crossfire. They're pretty good.

Geocities
They can't close it, its part of internet history. Back in its heyday it was good until Yahoo got their hands on it.

Lets try this again. Now reformating my drive, install my 32 bit XP and then try installing the 64 bit Win 7 upgrade.

In all of the years that I have been assembling my own computers, I never had bought any defect hardware until now. Seeing this is the first time that I am using a Sapphire product, this casts a black eye on them and their quality. I broswed the reviews at Newegg and I see I'm not the only one who has had a problem like mine. I'll get a replacement but I doubt I'll buy one of their cards again. The replacement better work otherwise I'll take my money back and buy a card from a different manufacturer.

You can install x64 Windows 7 over x86 XP - it just takes a custom installation. I tried to and it wouldn't let me. I stuck the 64 bit disk in and gave me an error message.

I don't know. I already requested a replacement.

That is a neat tool. It didn't come up with anything wrong with the card.

I should have just went with my first choice that being the 4890. There's nothing DX11 right now so it wouldn't have been a big deal.

WTF?? These newer OSes (Vista & Win 7) aren't up with the 21st century? I might as well have stuck with XP. The only reason I updated to Win 7 was for it to recognize more RAM. I would have installed the 64 bit but it wouldn't since this was a 32 bit XP OS. I am starting to hate technology.

Why does Windows 7 that I have 3.25 Gs of usuable RAM?

Its at 32 C which is nothing compared to the 50 C that my OC over clocked 3870's run on my other computer. It runs worse in Win 7. The CCC crashes constantly, I get lines across my screen. I'm yanking this piece of **** out and returning it. I know better to buy anything that is a first release. I see good reviews on the card, sure would be nice if I bought one that actually worked.
