the trial took place before the JCW, did anybody notice that Vrook wore new jedi robe instead of the old fashioned kotor robe? i'm curious to know if it was intentional or due to the deadline because i did find the robes'models, i didn't find all the textures but the models were there, also none of the masters at the trial wore any of the old council member robes you see on Rakata Prime at the end of Kotor. in the tomb of Ludo Kressh the first vision featured jedi wearing old style robes, dark Exile wore the latest dark jedi robe instead. do you thinks fine the way they did or would you prefer something like this? (just when showing the past of course) :

Kreia likes cleverness, trick people for your gain by words (not force powers, not violence, lie or persuade, she just loves that.) value her as a teacher, agree with what she says. Atton likes brute force, nice deeds may also inspire him, same goes for Visas. Hanharr, HK-47 and G0-T0 like violence and displays of power, G0-T0 is an accountant he's happy when you exploit a potential income of credits, like selling people into slavery or sabotaging a droid merchant, and he's trying to save the republic so you may show some agreement, and some concern for order and stability. Mira likes good deeds and hates trouble so don't take part in a gainless mob you can avoid, she also likes compliments as much as everyone else so praise her worth as a bounty hunter. Brianna and Mical are naive lightsiders, Brianna may disapprove the use of deception, Mical snaps when you touch him his precious Republic, he's a real patriot. Bao-Dur is a good loyal follower, inspired by good deeds and intent to make up for the past, nurture that intent. treat T3 like a cute baby. Mandalores an old man, many battles behind, memories, plans for the future, honor them all when you speak to him - oh, and butcher some innocent from time to time, he'll appreciate. many of those dialog choices can be open up either having very low or high influence but not all.

differences btw male and female
Knights&Darths replied to Knights&Darths's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
honestly i really thoght male was to be the canon, do you think they had to schedule a sex-change due to some error? i mean is there anything about she-Exile's canonization that sounds like accident or the other way around? i do find difficult to believe she-Exile was canon from the very start, not that i mind to finally have a canonically female pc, i have a few things bugging me though: Atris'love for the Exile would be more of a plausible reason for her fall to the dark side the whole thing about Brianna-Kreia-Kae-Yusanis sounds too big to be a mere alternative same goes for Battle Precognition, Mical's meditation along with his labstation and medpac dealer functionalities are hardly a match the only spoken "i love you" in the whole game (Visas, Ebon Hawk, Kreia's chamber,) the sparring with Brianna and Atris'jealousy are traded with Sion's feelings for she-Exile, nice if creepy idea, a young naive jedi wanna-be who still wet his bed when she left for the war (Brianna isn't any older, but at least you never saw her in diapers,) and a jedi murdering lying jealous whiny "inthenameofloveforanotherwoman" ex-sith troop blackmailed in your service. -
differences btw male and female
Knights&Darths replied to Knights&Darths's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
what about it? long-winded are we? -
this is not meant to be a deathmatch, he-Exile VS she-Exile, so be fair. do you feel male and female have the same worth? some of the best lines are the Exile's, how much does it change? now male is non-canon so how much is gone with him and how much does she-Exile have to show for?

pls help me How to kill Vrook
Knights&Darths replied to ikooo's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
yes, let us back killing Vrook though he should be dead by now. seriously Vrook is the best, even old queen shows some degree of respect for him. -

the quote is indeed interesting, not that much if we consider Kreia couldn't read his thoughts or his future. as for the cut content, it was also to be (or so i've heard around here) a new ship to take the Exile off Malachor, changing that, someone had to be on that ship.

she was talking about the MSG in action "There is a world on the Outer Rim surrounded by mass shadows. Past the graveyard of Mandalorian warships, this planet suffers, crushed in gravity's fist. To walk on its surface is to feel it crushing every cell of your being. It is like being buried alive until it seems you will never breathe again. What manner of creature would have birthed such a thing? Nothing human, to be sure. If you dare voice your opinions again, Iridonian, you will forget yourself for a time. Return to your machines, and trouble me no more. Serve the exile until it is your time to die, and it will be enough."

i liked that too, that's so deserved, the Exile has great lines. "The true war is waged in the hearts of all living things, against our own natures, light or dark. That is what shapes and binds this galaxy, not these creations of man." --Kreia

Kotor 2, a way better game

Celestials otherwise known as "the architects" or "the builders", even though as much as many other races, all interesting places indeed. as for the planets in TSL, i'd say Dantooine, i liked the Battle of Khoonda, the enclave sublevels, the new crystal cave with that twi'lek merc, Vrook in the force cage and the super crystal, and that's where old queen blasts the council.

pls help me How to kill Vrook
Knights&Darths replied to ikooo's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
more information of course would be useful. if you are a consular you may have more success equipping wis&cha boosting items and casting "alter" force powers like battle meditation, force scream or plague, that'll make him weaker so you have better chances of success using "control" force powers such as stasis, fear or choke. much depends on class, level, attributes and equipment, and force powers, knowing all that you can plan a better strategy. if most of your force powers ain't armor restricted and you have the proficiencies you could wear a good armor, [Treat Injury]have Kreia make some str&con boosting underlays, [Repair]protective overlays, try to maximize the strengths of your Exile. -
which is your favourite
Knights&Darths replied to The Dark Master's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
TSL, even considering it's incomplete and bugged to death. with the Exile you accomplish huge ends, you bring victory to wars, train people, and from the beginning you're a jedi general, a veteran of one of the greatest wars of your time, you have unique abilities and train under a real jedi master who actually teaches you things. Revan can conquer the galaxy and have Bastila but up until that he's Mr.Nobody and he really felt young in his answers. i also liked TSL more than Kotor because it is more of an introspective journey, a more mature if darker story. Sure, Kotor had fulfilled romances but love is not as common among jedi as to have romances in every single story ever told, it's more fun having a nice little entourage with some jaelousy and teasing, people who fall to the dark side because they love you, ice queens and -
if you take a look at Atris'dialog there is no trace of the eventuality that the Exile had that conversation with Vash, not even in the scrap sub-tree where all the cut content usually is (not there, nor anywhere else actually), Atris and the Exile keep talking about a lethal connection, same goes for Kreia, if you slain Atris Kreia starts speaking from the sith holocrons and threatens to murder herself should the Exile run from her final test, you can't answer "go ahead". if it's true that the bond would fade out should Kreia fall to the dark side and the Exile knew it, can you tell me what reason would the Exile have to run after Kreia? nice one, i had forgotten that. it says little though, you can ask Kreia why is it the masters don't mention her.
-
[*]nonsense, if he was dead the Exile wouldn't ask Kreia about his future now would she? [*]*shakes head* such an important mission, would the good zabrak throw little Remote to the storm beasts if he was available? [*]well, there was so much work to be done on the Ebon Hawk, that ship could fall at any minute [*]what about some other crew member? also he never says "us" or any word implying him still being alive in the last holorec on Malachor and why the hologram anyway? [*]triggered commands, Bao-Dur made that holorec some time before the Exile confronted Atris and knew for sure that the the sith were striking from Malachor. the holorec says the Exile suspected that, so the zabrak arranged something in case

why did mira go to malachor
Knights&Darths replied to chris the jedi killer's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
we have no clue of who went to Malachor, sure is that that ship needed a pilot so Atton must be on the Ebon Hawk, you don't even get a journal entry to explain what's going on but the rest of the crew (if any) could have been injuried during the landing, Mira may have gone after the Exile as soon as she regained consciousness then maybe she got ko by poisonus gas shortly before her meeting with Hanharr, after that she made her way to the Trayus Core and got picked up by the Ebon Hawk along with the Exile. Kreia also mentions that Brianna is on Malachor. if Remote is on Malachor then i think we can assume Bao-Dur remained on the ship and got injuried or killed. G0T0 and HK are obviously on Malachor thought how did the HK-50 units manage to get there is a mistery. -
i'm just glad they'll be bringing back the HK factory and the now-canonical HKvsG0T0 confrontation, that is now reson enough to state that TSL is unfinished, actually canonizing cut content they stated as much themselves. i wouldn't bring back Vash or the cut confrontations in Trayus Accademy though, why ain't this thread spoiler again?

Kotor 2, a way better game
Knights&Darths replied to bigd101's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
playing Kotor i really had the feeling of being Mr.Nobody till the "revelation", with the Exile you accomplish huge ends during the game, you bring victory to wars, train people, and from the beginning you're a jedi general, a veteran of one of the greatest wars of your time, not to mention a jedi phenomenon with unique abilities and unrivaled importance training under a real jedi master who actually teaches you things. i also liked TSL more than Kotor because it is also more of an introspective journey, "you are the battleground". -
who do u like better?
Knights&Darths replied to Darth Traya's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Traya, i like it when she finally gets to the action, blasts the council into oblivion and returns to Trayus Accademy as the real queen of Malachor. i like the tune in Sion's voice when he hears her voice from behind, strong at first, then he takes a good look at her and understands. ah powerful women. come to think of it, is she the first Sith Lady in sw history? -
what's happened in the end
Knights&Darths replied to Knights&Darths's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
we seem to be deadlocked, i do not agree with much you've been saying but it's not important. now i find myself wondering if it would have been a good thing if they had it all layed bare, without mistery, unchallenging. for business i guess, it would have, but this way it's so much more intriguing, stimulating and open to debate, even as we drown in assumptions.
