Apocalypto. Not so violent, at least not commensurate with media proclamations and definitely not on the same level as with Gibson's previous film. Its funny too.. in places.

With School Of Rock its the kids that provide the charm in that movie. They serve as a counterbalance to Jack Black's schtick. So yeah SoR is decent but in spite of Jack Black.

Anyone seen Afro Samurai? Samuel L. Jackson does the voice of the main character, Ron Perlman does the voice of the main bad guy, RZA does the music. I think that is all that needs to be said.
