  1. As i recall modal do not stack with active buffs. So you get pen once
  2. I played Brawler 1h for awhile. Wasnt bad. Thinking about Shadowdancer, mostly for Riposte. Wonder if % of riposte attacks will be higher than procs of mob stance kills.
  3. Dont know about solo, but in regular game on PotD it's much faster and easer just rush and board, than make some tactics about naval battle. And if you take fastest ship with fastest upgrades there is no way enemy will disengage from battle. In first walkthrough i spent quite of time in naval battles. It was fun at start, became annoying at the end. So in second i just started to insta board.
  4. I dont know why that place is so hard. I do it always the same way. Sneak in from north stairs avoiding boar. Then i take my walk near west wall to the south. There ll be 2-3 barrels with gunpowder or smthg. Pull enemies in. When they are near barrels i use that amulet wit h fireball charges so it will hit em and barrels. If you are lucky only wywern will survive. If not, well it's not that hard to finish half dead animals
  5. You need Xoti in your party to release Modwyr's soul. Stats are the same either way. Maan. Well, it is too late now His screams in battle getting little annoying now. Not as annoying as Concelhaut, but still.
  6. I went with one handed Brawler Devoted/Helwalker. Fighter provides nice hit to crit then add here one handed. There are some items that also boosts hit to crit. Swift Flurry and Mob Stance do some nice explosions With high crit single target dps can be also devastating if flurry triggered. Only level 12 so far, but man this is such a blast. I was aftraid that i would lose dps with one weapon, but so far i do much more that rest of crew just because i crit much more often. You probably would say, that i should just play berserk. Well. I dont like berserk. I tried and it is powerfull, but that is just not my class. Anything mage/melee is strong. But often fight is already over when mage stop buffing self up. I would just play pure mage. Too bad i just finished PoE1 with pure mage not so long ago and little tired to micromanage everything. With pure melee class you can set up scripts for most of actions and enjoy destruction.
  7. Strange. Before i could release him and have a reqular sword. Now w/e i do it eather i give him away or keep him with soul attached. Quest have been changed?
  8. Dont know why you bother. I played first time and competed like 99% of it with almost every achievement (didn't want to reload to change sides). Didn't bother with blessings or reroll, because i knew there ll be rebalancing in future with some big DLC. So i better complete full game now and learn for another full run with DLC, but with powergaming in mind.
  9. Same problem. All of the sudden my battlemage lost all his abilities... If i create custom dude, then it is working. My MC still can't see his stuff. Wonder if the reason behind it that i used some other player custom AI? Now i deleted all files, repaired game at steam. Nothing changed. Edit. Doesnt matter which save file i load. It just doesnt work with MC. Rest of crew doing just fine... Edit #2. Removed all gear. Abilities apeared. Gonna figure out now df is breaking editor. Edit #3. Turns out it is grimoire. No idea if it is breaking editor because i am low level, not having spells after pl 1 or somethign else...
  10. Good to know. Started new game as Devoted Battlemage with sword. Will keep an eye on modal from now on
  11. It is always a bad idea to mix power gaming and rp stuff. With paladins especially. Do not force self with BW. Other option also useful. I went with kind and hellwalker monk. Good dps which also heals Eder for example. I am done with paladins anyway. They are strong, but those rep border really bother me all the time.

  14. Same you can say about Edwin. Liked both dwarfs in 1 and 2 part. But well, my party was always evil.. so no place for Minsc
  15. Thanks. Glad it is a bug. And hope they give an option to customize stats of companions as one of threads suggesting.
  16. Did some random WM2 run with random tanking fighter. Got 73 accuracy. OG used 111 accuracy for prone attack and 100 accuracy for melee attack during proc. What can i say.. It's not always working for some reason. Also there are for example oozes who can simply engage your tank, but use range attacks on rest of your party..
  17. Ye-ye. Forget it since there are no paladins in this thread and second one is high end content, so no point to discuss those shields. But is that Overbearing Guard soo good? Can't really test it atm. Massacre in tavert cant give 'stress' test And what is bonus to acc for disengagement attacks? or is it like 100% hit? Never actually cared about it. Can't run a proper test atm to check combat log for OG hits.
  18. There are 2 small shields which can buff whole party.
  19. I am not sure is it from 3.0 or 3.01, but i just noticed that if you changed stats of your companion (not adventurer), then save and load that save stats will be reseted. I understand that this is probably some sort of 'repair' mechanic, so characters have proper stats, buffs etc. But i do not like it! I like to play with story companions, but because i do not like their stats i change em as i want em to be as if i created character myself.
  20. The Unlabored Blade is a dagger; it is covered by the Weapon Focus talent that you have so it benefits from it (Steadfast benefits from WF: Knight.) Try it with a different one and you'll see it doesn't work. It's the same with Twin Sting, and possibly all new soulbound weapons. Yea. That's why i also wrote Greenstone Staff in that list. It's not a Noble Focus weapon EDIT: Probably new soulbound weapons are broken idd. Used blade on char with Peasant WF. Do not work..
  21. There are just too many bugs with those accuracy and universal weapons going on. May be i missed something. PS Checked once again. UB works fine. Numbers at combat log are the same as in inventory screen. And they include Weapon Focus as they should. And Steadfast's numbers are same in inventory and combat log, but they do not use Weapon Focus. I just want to be clear that it's not the same as with past hidden numbers, it's just Steadfast do not use any Weapon Focus
