KotOR's charecters: Where are they now?
Indalecio replied to Mad_Scientist's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
You can turn him away from the Dark Side. Thats not necessarily turning him to the Light. The experience with Jorak really shook him up though. -
Anyone see this? Bethesda has liscensed Fallout and plans to make FO3.

I disagree. There are already cyborgs in the Star Wars universe. If they were so great, why doesn't everyone have one. Prejudicial issues? Cultural issues? Personality issues? There's no great research into this, because there's no great demand for it. Why alter yourself, and risk possibly altering your very being, when there are far more safer alternatives. I think what has happened in the Star Wars universe is that it has reached a technological plateau. Further technological process is possible, but why spend money on reaserch, when you sell products made from slightly modified, but freely availible designs.

I think I found an Image of Dantooine

I'll have to try that sometime. -
Questions the the Devs - Take 2

Some equipment will have your character's name attached to them. I don't think you'll be able to affix your PC's name to equipment arbitrarily though. -Akari Would it only be the lightsaber, or will it be other stuff too? They took your photo from the Jedi Yearbook. -

Don't need no cold milk Winter. Always freezing when I get up. Need something hot, like hot milk in cereal. But not cold. -
I've heard people say the guy on the start screen For Kotor 2 is darth Sion [from the trailer] Maybe Darth Sion is actually Bandon. We killed him, but he somehow was able to pull himself together.

Have you ever tried combining Fruit Loops with Golden Grahams? The stuff is nasty. The two tastes cancel each other and you get something thats totally inedible. -
You "forgot" to use the force? oh, come on....
Indalecio replied to Meshugger's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
That quote right there proves you have absolutely no clue what you're talking about. The Force is NOT a tool. That has been said COUNTLESS times in the movies, books, games, etc. The Force is, pretty much, equivalent to any kind of knowledge or skills you learn. It's not just a mere "screwdriver" or "hammer". The Force is a tool in this context. But to the Jedi its more like a symbiotic relationship. The Jedi uses the Force, but at the same time, benefitting the Force itself by promoting peace and harmony. -
Just because we don't see any in the movies, don't you think its a bit of a stretch to say there aren't any?

Fine by me.

Bothan. Sorry, that other pic was really ugly. Somehow, they look less like giant dogs, and more anthropomorphic camels.
-
They were stereotypical politicians. Self-absorbed, and frequently disconnected from reality. Not hard to see why they would end up where they did.
-
Doesn't matter anyway. One of Devs said the game engine wouldn't support it. Its a moot point.
-
As much as you despise not being able to play a non-jedi?
-
I'd like to. But I didn't see Ender post anything anywhere, in either Suggestions or Sith Lord's General for at least a day, so he's probably busy at the moment.

A few things I would love to see
Indalecio replied to Product of the Cosmos's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Well, the point is, everyone is an individual. Everyone is unique, and to wear something as garish as a purple and orange polka-dot robes, for instance, would sort of downplay that uniqness. The uniqness is within, whats on the outside doesn't really matter. Asfor making your own lightsaber, and Qel Dromas's robes, well that was more about effectiveness, than making a fashion statement. In the case of making the Lightsaber, you strengthen your connection to the Force. Qel Dromas' robes, OTH, probably were made of some exotic material that gave a defense bonus or something. -
Oh yes, let us laugh at the depiction of a poor animal languishing in pain and suffering. What a keen joke it is. Actually, that was a Hitchiker's Guide To The Galaxy reference.

Those may have been in an early version of KOTOR, but it looks a little too bright to be Sleyheron. Too bright, too clean. A 'crime' world like Sleyheron I'd expect to be sprawled with grafitti and bustling with low-lifes of all sorts. Of course, it may just've been before they had a chance to add such things, but my gut tells me 'no'. It did have a Gammorean in it. I bet Sleheyron got cut was because they couldn't put a star map on it, in KOTOR II I'd like to see a couple of planets you can go to that aren't related with the main plot, rather they have side quests involving those planets. I mean in real life you aren't forbidden from going somewhere just because you don't have any business there. Maybe that Gamorrean was an NPC you could've picked up there. I see T3-M4, someone who looks vaguely like Canderous and the Gamorrean. Possible party member?

Its not Queen, but how about "Stairway To Heaven" whenever you're doing something particularly Lightside?

What small features do you want added?
Indalecio replied to Craftsman's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I want a Cardboard Tube as a weapon. -
Not necessarily secretly. Multiple factions with separate agendas are always good. Adds depth.
