Jesse Lacey, lead singer of Brand New. Stumbled across this band back in 2002 when I was like in 5th Grade. back then they played really pop-punk "i just lost my girlfriend" kinda music. They were in their 20s then. Flash forward 10 years and they're being called the American Radiohead. Last two albums were very deep, the original pop punk stuff isn't even comparable to the throat-shreddy Indie/alternative stuff they do now...But it still holds a spot in my heart tehehe tl;dr: this man has written the soundtrack to my life since I was like, 12.

On a related note, haven't been a big football fan, ever - but my roommate loves Arsenal and has got me into FIFA 11, so I've been playing that and slowly developing some interest in the sport.

I can barely cope. I'm going to a game on March 8th I believe. I just hope we're still fighting for that playoff spot by then. I swear to god if we make the playoffs and they don't give the C to Elias I'll be seriously pissed. The guy has been the only consistent player all year, and he's half the reason we even have a chance - at - having - a chance - of making the playoffs.

If the Devils make the playoffs Philly better hope they don't play them in the first round. The Devils have to win something like 20 of their last 26 (which is doable, considering they've gone 12-1-2 in their last 15). And any team that comes into the playoffs that hot is going to make a pretty good run.

Yeah, I mean that the only two higher scoring Canadians were Crosby and Stamkos. I think St. Louis could have went over Cory Perry, or Mike Richards. I mean obviously they chose the right team seeing as how they won it all...But I definitely don't think he'd be out of place in the lineup.

I'm pretty sure it was a real game. I watched it, it existed. How didn't St. Louis make the olympic team? highest scoring Canadian (besides Crosby) in the league right now. Last year was no different when he finished with 94 points. I think Stamkos finished with more...but he didn't make the cut either. He's young so that's understandable - but St. Louis has been one of the best forwards in the league for the last 8 years.

Played in an overnight Ultimate tournament last night. Showed up at 11PM and played 5 games, last one finished around 7am. Met some awesome people. It was a hat-tournament, so people sign up and then teams are randomized, which is cool cause you wind up meeting a bunch of people. We finished in 3rd place out of 8 teams. Met some awesome kids my age, a few older dudes, and two chicks. Now I'm sore as hell and heading out for a friends 22nd birthday party...Which is essentially just a 1 year anniversary of his 21st.

Actually my sight is set on Montclair University. Though if I don't get accepted, Rutgers would be one of the other choices. I think she teaches economics, not sure though. I probably won't run into her then. Any reason you're picking Montclair over Rutgers? I've got a few friends at Montclair.

I just found out that one of my cousins' is an instructor there. This is my last semester at mercer, going to wait a bit before I submit my transfer application. well gang up on Krook why dontcha? Admittedly if this was 30 odd years ago My grandfather would be teaching there/running the environmental Science department. Tell him not to hurt me if I have him.

Hanging out for the last few days of break. Back to Rutgers for my second semester of college on Monday. It's a lot more comforting leaving home this time than it was at the end of the summer, knowing what to expect and all. Decided to bring my 360 up this time, the amount of free time I have up there is absurd. Still playing Ultimate for the school, looking forward to practices starting up again.
