Rolston was put on waivers and cleared them so he's still on the roster, he's been playing. Brodeur/Kovy's slump and Parise's injury is what went wrong for the Devils this year. We have some extremely solid forwards. Arnott, Kovalchuk, Elias, Zajac, Parise, Zubrus. That's more than enough scoring. Brodeur gets no help on defense because our defense sucks. The truth of the matter is with goal-scoring power like Kovalchuk and Parise, the Devils are going to have to start to make an adjustment from their usual defense-first system, but right now they aren't scoring OR playing defense. Not a good combo.

UHHHHHHHHHH SO APPARENTLY THE DEVILS JUST TRADED AWAY THEIR CAPTAIN FOR A THIRD-ROUND DRAFT PICK. I'm so angry right now you have no idea. I was hoping we'd get a solid stay at home defensemen. I was hoping we would get a PLAYER that would help us get out of this rut. Seriously? Jamie Langenbrunner isn't worth anything more than a third round draft pick? Come on. Both were crazy bounces off boards that left Hedberg completely out of position. I guess it was time for the Devils to have a bad year. I really hope they give the C back to Elias, I really never thought he deserved to lose it in the first place.

Lanngenbrunner is on his way of NJ. So far trade rumors have been heard with Dallas, Washington, and the Flyers. Really, really hope the give the C back to Elias.

Probably why he picked the fight. Also, don't underestimate old geezers with bad attitudes. They're often very bad news in my experience. A young feller might knock a tooth out, but an old **** might follow you home and set fire to it. And for the record you would had kicked his arse I simply said "come find me in 7 years when I'm out of law school and making more in a year than you'll see in your lifetime" Badass exit was badass.

Almost got in a bar fight last night with someone who was probably like 15 years older than me. Washed up 35 year olds picking fights with 19 year olds is just pathetic.

I used to play pick-up hockey with two guys who were well into their 60s, maybe even 70s.

So we're in the middle of a blizzard here in NJ. That's around 18 inches for us, so I've been pretty much snowed in all day. I've just been laying around play Xbox and watching movies.

Looks pretty alright so far. Up here in North Jersey we're expecting like 15 inches or something. Don't bitch about the snow though or all the Canadians here will throw a fit : P

Yeah. He retired but now he's taking over till they find a new coach. He's a pretty good coach.

Remember like a month and a half ago when I wanted the Devils to fire their coach? well they did it. and now it's too late.

Finished my first semester of college. All my courses went well (I think I pulled out B's in all of them). Rewarded myself by staying up all night playing Black Ops and NHL 11. A very, very welcomed break from all those hours in the library.

Mine's already started. The first moment you step out the class after the final is always glorious. Yeah, I really can't wait. I love it here at school, but there is something about the thought of not having any work to worry about that is quite appealing :D

Studying for finals. Been putting in 4-5 hours in the library everyday since December 8th. So far it's paid off, last final is this Monday. Then it's back home to spend a month doing nothing but eating, drinking, video gaming, playing guitar and catching up with some friends.

Well done, are you going to be cooking eggs in the cafeteria or re-stocking the soda machine? GOT EMMMM

This is the second time someone I've never met (the first being Hades) has died and I've actually felt...Sad. Condolences to his friends (including all of us, I suppose) and his family.
