Actually, I used the NIV version. If anything, that might be a more authoritative version since it's more modern. I decided to look at a Hebrew interlinear, and according to it, the original Hebrew actually reads closer to what the NIV translated it as. So once again, there's no torture mentioned in that verse. Yup. And is there a reason you feel you need to make generalizatons like a 12 year old, Yrkoon? Who are you to say "Oh, well stick with KJV, since that's what the fanatic right wing uses." Storyline: K1 Gamplay: K2 Characters: K1 Planets: K1 Quests: K1 The influence system was a good idea, but poorly executed I think. A lot of times it felt more like the characters were trying to influence you.

K1's story was better by far, as were the environments and music. It was complete for one thing, and actually interesting. K2's storyline was boring and had one of the most annoying NPC's devised - Kreia. :D Even with the cut content, I really doubt it'd be much better.

^^^Agreed on almost all points. I think the game tried to force to many gray philosophies on you, mainly thanks to Kreia. And if you dared to disagree, you of course lost influence. My main gripe as you said was that it didn't feel like my choices really made much of a difference in the end.

Should I ever want to hear nonstop about how sick and evil Christianity is, they'll be the first on my list. Merry Christmas to both of them.

[serious response] Basically, the Republic and Mandalorian forces were fighting a stalemate battle on Malachor, and Revan's forces were too far away to assist them. Then, the exile decides to give the orders to activate the mass shadow generator (built by none other than bao-dur). The planet's gravity increases and all lifeforms on it are crushed. Then, the Republic wins. Yay. Then, the exile "feels the pain" of all those who died and becomes a wound in the force. Hooray.

However, you do get to play as an Elite.

The only reason I would support them using canon is that it'd make writing for continuation a heck of a lot easier. Writing for two characters is a lot easier than writing for eight.

I think it's safe to say Bastila's backstory was mostly the game itself. It's where her character had the greatest impact and underwent the most radical changes.
