  1. Alright, alright! Calm down, calm down! /scouser joke
  2. Monolith have been quiet for so long, and now they're releasing two shooters in the space of 5 months? Not that I'm complaining...
  3. If only George Lucas hadn't sterilised the Star Wars universe with his crappy prequels, I would pick this up in a second. Right now I'm going to wait till my WoW addiction isn't so pathetic, but I'll get it eventually. I'm not very good at making it through the second half of a game unless it really grabs me (I mean really really grabs me, I haven't even finished Half-Life 2 yet, or Throne of Bhaal, or Grim Fandango, or Deus Ex) so if part 1 is great, it might be good enough.
  4. Sounds interesting, I'm glad to see it's coming out for PC. I may pick this up for the story elements alone although I hate playing action games with a mouse and keyboard, and theres no Gamecube version.
  5. Middle-Earth: Total War :D
  6. So it seems Outland is to be added in an expansion. Well actually its already there as some guy with a thousand hacks discovered. I guess this means Blood Elves as a playable race and possibly Naga, though I doubt you'll be able to put trousers and shoes on a Naga. I'm not that impressed with Outland as a setting, it didnt do much for me in The Frozen Throne and it probably wont in WoW. I'd much rather they put Northrend in first. Anyway heres the link to a thread with a video, thers a link on page 20 that works as of now. Beware - Bnet forums
  7. Army Men: Total War
  8. Aren't the imperial guard just like the space marines? I wanted those necro things instead!
  9. Well since Interplay is no more I cant see the harm in it. Just don't download the NWN soundtrack you naughty person.
  10. Well, Horde and Alliance raids on low lvl zones are certainly regular events. By low, I mean lvl 20 or so since newbie zones are very well protected.
  11. I don't have Vampire, what's at the microphone stand?
  12. You're best bet is probably eMule or Kazaa, I can see in eMule pretty much all of the ToB and NWN soundtracks and there's a big download that has the IWD2 soundtrack plus BG 1 & 2. You might need to find a page that has the tracklistings so you can make up the numbers.
  13. Man I would start another game of IWD2 just to look at those spell icons, but I'm too engrossed in WoW.
  14. I'm on the Euro servers, but my char (I hate the term 'toon') is a lvl 12 Undead warlock called Hellman, my server is Shattered Hand (PvP).
  15. Undying was one of the games featured in Gamespys top underrated games feature, it was number 11. http://archive.gamespy.com/articles/septem...d/index16.shtml
  16. How can it be overrated? Everyone says it sucks.
  17. Wow that is a nice screenie, I got about halfway through Undying but I never made it to that part. Yes, Undying is a great game and well worth picking up if you like creepy games. I only got halfway through it because I'm terrible at finishing a game before I start a new one. It's a pity it didn't sell very well since Clive Barker might have continued making games, and he rocks.
  18. Heh, be careful where you point that thing.
  19. IWD2 had some pretty hard puzzles and I dont remember it being a cakewalk exactly in the combat area. Maybe you had a good party setup? BG2 had some great mage fights but you just avoided them until you were high lvl enough to take them on. BG was pretty difficult to start but again you could avoid the fights you didnt like until you had enough party members or a high enough lvl. Mind you, nothing in IWD2 was as hard as that huge demon in Ulgoth's Beard. The Guardian was kinda close but didn't need half as much reloading and hair-pulling.
  20. The beta's ending tomorrow?
  21. Being a hopeless BG junkie, BG3 is the game I have most looked forward to so naturally I was very disappointed when it vanished, especially when it was shaping up to be so damn good! The biggest disappointment of a game I actually got to play was probably The Curse of Monkey Island. It was kind of an underlying thing where I kept waiting for the game to get better and it never did, but it was ok I guess just not a real Monkey Island game. I'm usually quite easy to please, it takes a lot for a game to really fail miserably for me. Edit - I'll probably get flamed for this but I was pretty underwhelmed by Shogun - Total War, I had a lot of trouble even finishing the tutorial. I'm sure for a strategy buff its a dream come true but I couldn't get involved enough to persevere once things got difficult.
  22. I guess you wont be getting it now then.
  23. Counter-Strike : Source Natural Selection World of Warcraft beta LOTR - The Battle for Middle-Earth
  24. I love Fallout, but BG2's tactical combat just about edges it out.
