Correct. World of Darkness is dead-dead. No more releases ever. WW made a big deal about sticking to their original vision that the apocalypse/gehenna was nearing and ended the Masquerade/Apocalypse/Ascension product lines. Requiem and other current WW products are seemingly available. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> requiem is no longer about "I'm a monster but I don't want to be" It's I'm an immortal redeeming my self.

I donno... but Apocolypse can't stand up to the Black Bolt ya know... the guy who whispers and blows up tanks? In Black Panther #7 it was a single syllable to defeat/kill apocolypse... and demoish most of Wakandia. the should he shout I think they put the damage at the solarsystem.

or use the inventory exploit.

Was Revan the ultimate Sith Lord?

... Making portals is zero design innovation?

most of Apocs' powers came from "the ship" I think it's the ship the master controls. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I believe Apocalypse's only mutant power is immortality... but I may be wrong. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> he can also "mass shift" but after that it's all from the dang ship.

DOWN SIMBA! Honestly? I personally couldn't care if there were homosexuals or there weren't. the idea sounds like somthing a preacher or a perv came up with. The preacher would do it through pain and pennance, the perv would round up a bunch of loose girls and say "make 'em strait" while filming the entire thing on video for later retail at his own shop...

California Law Has most of that except for the public property bit (I think... Not sure they might have put that through a few years ago). but what this "new" law is doing is making you sueable for simply smoking near sombody elses window.

honestly I don't quite see how they could make half life into a open ended game like Deus Ex (just for example). I mean the game gives you a VERY VERY Defined objective and says DO IT! while pushing you along a certain line. It just wouldn't work for me to see Gordon freeman all of a sudden hop out of the sewers and decide to pull off a front aussalt on the citidel with all it's defenses and survive intact.

I'm gonna eventually buy the PS3 simply for the reason they set it so high... I'm not a Home theatre person by anymeans but having a system that supports any theatre system I choose AND can play all my favorite games if my PS2 finially desides to go out is nice. oh and DW5:XL and DW5 Empires. WoW on the side with some steaksause.

so does this mean I can sue anyone who comes to drive thru with a cig?

LEGION will be targeted at a younger audience. JL/JLU was targeted at late teens LEGION is targeted at the saturday morning cartoons. Sucks what they are doing to leigon. Especailly considering that the comics are so good.

What was your favourite "Upgrade" to Gameplay?
Calax replied to chenwong88's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
the extra feats. and while corny, the ability to make your entire party jedi. -
ok so once... (it's never really touched on in history other than Trenches=evil creations of the devil, and that the allies royally screwed over the central powers at the end.)
-
Would you have the reflexes and timing to pull that off? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> your talking about a guy who can't get away from the blasted warewolf.

and yet the only other game that makes good use of terrain advangage was Starcraft... generals just kinda ignored it (sight bonus was it) and Warcraft ignored it for the most part. :sighs in resignation:

Quoted for truth. :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> requires a ladder at least...

the problem I've had with blasters is that as soon as you fight any jedi your murdered because the jedi are just blocking the blasters.

Wow max hits for force powers!

... hmmmmmm OPG on a tirade again... (urge to flame rising!) -
they didn't put the metal in his fingers... only his major bones are soaked in it. Also in Ultimate Xmen they finially decided on his official name, James Howllett aka Lucky Jim. Canadian infantry at Dday, everone called him lucky jim because he'd get shot and stand strait back up. He is probably the first known mutant in exsistance in 616 in 616 he's been around for about 1-2 hundred years already I think (wolverine origins has him as a a boy running around with an aumishish family). From what I can tell other than Apokolypse, Namor(maybe) and possible sinister (who I don't know much about) he's the oldest known mutant

Steve I wasn't saying that we shouldn't learn a second language... I meant that (from what I can tell anyway) 90% of languages taught are either French, Spanish, or Latin. My high school had 1 teacher able to speak japanese so we also had a japanese class, and a german class but that was ultimatly it. For the japanese and german classes you really only had 30 spots out of probably 2-3k students. So your choices in my school was A) learn a language you might have to use at your hourly highschool job because there are so many latino's about. B) Learn a language you will probably never use because everyone who speaks it also speaks english around here. C) a language that you will only pick up enough to know a single sentance out of a thirty minute tv show from it's home country. or D) Learn a language of a country that tried to take over the world twice. We didn't have latin.

another piece of useful knowledge... always know how to break into your own home. (I've locked myself out and done it about six or seven times.

whatsa LEIGON? is pronouced- lee-jeen? or lie-gon? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I spelled it wrong :"> but it's the Legion of Superheroes. It's coming out on Warner Bros this fall I think and is based off of a comic. It's done by the same guys who did Superman:TAS Batman:TAS Justice League and JLU(which is technically an extension of JL.)

I find that the law could be good if it doesn't get used like a weapon. Reading the article the lady that "inspired" the movement did try to make an arrangement but ended up killing the arrangement herself because she didn't "feel like getting out of bed to close the windows at 7am" and ignored the system and then yelled at the smoker who lit up next door. Honestly this is a law that is very very easy to overblow. I can see some crotchety old jerk persercuting a smoker who smokes in their back yard, other side of the yard, in a boxed in corner. Just because the neighbors dog bothers him.
