Going back to ME, I think... WoW has it's claws deep in me
-
Sometimes on WoW's rp servers you'll get reported for not being "in character" all the time. But in general the whole thing about griefers and such are blown way out of porportion, sure there are some runnin around but usually they're found out and ostrasized from the server at large. On my server we have a guy who "ninja'd" the Ashbringer (one of the few legendary items in the game, probably the best too because it has a lore line with it), at least that's what most people think. Basically what happened was that a rogue had stolen the item, and this guy had convinced the guy to give it to him so he could pass it to the person who should have gotten it. Unfortunatly the person who was doing the passing (and the guy I'm talking about) didn't take into account the fact that you can only move things once, so he got the sword and couldn't give it to the person who should have it. Thus he's known as a Ninja, and was so throughly ostrasized that he had to change his name to stop getting nasty tells. Thing is he's a good guy and didn't do much wrong, just the circumstances are a bit shady. People don't take well to ninjas and will often take action to prevent the ninjaing of stuff. Griefing? now that's another thing. In wow if you grief your own faction you're yelled at and ostrasized by all except for your guild/group of friends. If you grief the other faction it's considered normal (hell on a PvP server it's a rite of passage to survive in STV when you're leveling. That place is murder on both factions lowbies because bored 80's go there and just murder anyone of the opposite faction they see).

A single player game that has a monthly fee, sweet! WEll, for 120$ a year you get a LOT more content than you would out of two single player games.

well, I re-organized my room and managed in the process to loose my CoD4 for the PC Thought I'd lost my Mass Effect too but turns out I don't need the disk that was missing (it was the other language stuffs). CoD4 will probably turn up in the future. Don't know about the second ME disk, but I still tore apart my bookcases looking for those suckers. Still it's nice to have one of my windows back.

ROFLMAO Basically this guy is asking for somebody to play his character and farm pvp for some of the better equipment. .. Don't the chinese do that for 50$ total? -
you haven't seen movies without action until you've seen Shoot em up, or the transporter series. Or Cranked.
-
Thing about mass effect is that no matter what you'll use guns, it's just the type of guns that's big. I LOVE my infiltrators, the sniper isn't that powerful because of the level size but I stil love it for the effect of "I shoot you once and you die" instead of the pistols "empty a clip" and I don't like the shotguns lack of range.

He's gotten typecasted as Neo anymore.

but some during boss encounters are specifically designed to be yoinked. Shields on Thorims little trash mobs in the arena for example. As to flamestrike, Mages already got that. One of the biggest things that they need to add is more ways for dps to purge buffs from targets (the second boss in ToC has a buff that'll cause his magic to do something like 200% damage... meaning I can get oneshot for 50k damage... in 10 man regular).
-
I doubt they'd put that in because they already have similar functionality in mages with spell steal, and because often there aren't all that many bosses that have a significant buff to yoink.

Funny. FO3 is already pretty subpar. And yet none of the people that count (reviewers who do it professionally) seem to agree. and while there is a demographic that will hate everything (not saying it's the same demographic here) it generally is ignored if the people who's job it is to say "This is good, that is bad" says "this is good". People are sheep, if they see high review scores on meta critic they'll buy that sucker faster than you can say cheese.

well, I'm the type who rarely gets sick, but if he does he's usually killed for three days of rest, and 2 weeks of tired working/school.

I think I'm coming down with a bug, had a lot of mucus going into my throat making swallowing hurt, and I'm starting to get tired really easily... No other real symptoms but still, I'm gonna be pretty vigilant

Kotor3: Ideas, Suggestions, Discussion Part 26

this would be REALLY hard to implement because they have to have a few different storyline from the different characters -
Bethesda is suing interplay over the proposed fallout MMO, because Interplay had not shown full scale work on the game by April 4th 2009. Bethesda appears to be using this to yank the IP from under the MMO (similar to what happened to champions (which was originally Marvel's mmo)) because Interplay wasn't living up to it's end of the supposed deal.

Activision CEO wants to take all the fun out of making games
Calax replied to neckthrough's topic in Computer and Console
Depends on what you mean by Niche. I mean most RPG series have a very hard set of rules that all of them follow (within the series, like Final Fantasy having certain summons, Suikoden having a few strategy elements... that sort of thing). -
Don't get 2k10 from what we've seen in terms of sales.

WOOT Calvin and Hobbes FTW!

Well, Insomniac is similar to this (see the recruiting video they included in Resistance 2) -
Awesome/interesting games no one has heard of

I remember with RA2 they gave you a brief history of what happened between 1 and two about Romanovs rise after stalin was beaten, before switching to slides of the new weapons you get to play with. -
Yeah, you got more than half of my life on that one. I'm pretty sure I went down to at least the 30's if not 20's on that one. That second and third level was just horrible. I lost track of how many times you guys managed to land a pounce on me. I almost managed to clear out your team with my tank in the airport though. Another second and I would have managed to get that rock away. hehe, I was the survivor that managed to kill you. I felt very very good about that, I was sure you were gonna plaster me all over that hallway, then you went after evgeni and I somehow managed to get behind you (I think I used one of your swings to propel me back towards Deadsilence) and finally managed to down you. Your team seemed to have better overall coordination than ours.

Honestly if they allowed you to shift the sizes of the objects wouldn't that end up in the catagory of "I SHOULD do this but I'm just gonna make a skillion little hills to make a stairwell to that spot".

Played a bit of L4D vs with Der. My team got our asses kicked in 3 rounds (we died they survived) Although I did have a sweet hunter hit on the second level of dead air, der was on the fire escape and I managed to pounce down, then back up onto him and clawed out half of his life.

Check out Kongming.net, they usually have the older games up for DL.
