Read a news story that talked about an article in a medical journal about the appendix. Turns out that sucker is actually housing for good bacteria who are supposed to repopulate our intestines after we've had a bad case of the runs. The reason appendicitis happens is because we don't have that occurrence and thus the bacteria just builds up and builds up until *pop*. ... What you're saying is that we should go back to the times when gold was only made via AH, epic mounts were REALLY rare, raiding required 3 6 hour nights to kill ONE boss, and 40 people to do it... Honestly your complaints sound like second hand whining. I've never really run into those problems, I suck at farming but have over 1k gold on my raider (to keep up with repairs) and 4k on my alt. The introduction of Daily quests and the like have done less to hurt the games population than Vanillas "stand around in ironforge showing of your epixx!" style of gameplay.

Because 99% of them were really stupid. They ate tires for heaven's sake! It almost felt like they were going to explain that, but it probably got cut out or something. Maybe in the Directors Cut version....? they threw in a tiny bit where they said that the "stupidity" was because they were all basically worker ants without any "queen" controlling them.

well... it's finally bucking the trend. In general DC's licensed stuff for games has been utter horror (superman 64, aquaman battle for atlantis and superman returns to name a few). This seems like the first good game and hopefully they'll continue the trend

1. I meant to say "only". 2. I dont drink bull @#$% like beer 3. From what I see, it's quite obvious, they just want a Star Wars title up in the top MMO games in the world. To compete with Galaxies is another. 4. I dont see any other types of games being voted to (e.g. Top FPS games in the world). They only do this to MMO's from what I know. 5. I dont give a @#$% about popularity. I'd rather be playing good games rather than top 40 horse@#$%. 6. From what I know, most Top 40, Top 100 games are over-rated in my opinion. Halo is over-rated, WoW is over-rated, Call of Duty, over-rated, God of War is over-rated, Assassin's Creed is over-rated. Hell, TOR is number 5 and after watching some gameplay video's, it's got to be the most over-rated game I've come across in a long time. *sigh* games earn popularity by either being REALLY good or TERRIBLE to the point of being laughable ("big rigs: over the road racing" for example). Sure some games are overrated but generally if something is receiving praise then they deserve it. Kotor 3 doesn't "deserve" to be made anymore than ToR. Honestly from a business stand point (which you seem to forget, this is a business, not a playground for artists to show off their visions) ToR will probably make more money than K3 because people will be playing it for quite a while. They can sell a LOT less units and call it a success than if they put the same money and resources into a single player project.

saw district nine. It was interesting but I didn't really understand how 1.8+ MILLION aliens could take that abuse and not get riled. That said it was better than "Let's hide the action behind a column" Transformers.

funniest part of that was that you could go into the persist.lua files and give yourself a skillion battleships to fend people off then watch your computer slideshow from all the fighters.

I'm just curious to those that are quite outspoken against the art style and voice overs: What is it precisely that is bad about it? Be honest with yourselves, if you saw those videos and it was all about KOTOR 3, would you actually be unhappy? I think their point on the VO is that the hype surrounding it is "to hide it's real flaws and lack of substance" or some garbage.

Homeworld 2 Sure the story is a bit wonky but the gameplay is FANTASTIC!

Well for the most part both DC and Marvel's cosmic fights end up with the status quo remaining the same. Well, Infinite Crisis caused several things to happen, like the Corps war between sinestro corps and the GLC (where the guardians of the universe finally allowed killing of the GLC's enemies, also superboy prime got killed finally). But anything by Geoff Johns is gonna be good.

Well the thing is that as much as we know about Gravity we've never actually figured out how it works or is transmitted. the term graviton is used to describe the theoretical particle/wave thing that gravity is transmitted by but they aren't entirely sure where it is/how to find it.

after talking with the family me and mi padre decided to get a new mommyboard this and a core 2 duo e8200 for 210... and maybe I'll pick up another two gigs of ram (bringing me to 6 total).

They've supposedly been working on it for a while now, but it's just so friggin complicated to do (because you have to let the person rechoose their appearance but limit them so that they are only able to pick the races that can be the class you are. And they only announced the plans within the past month or two.

In order to colonize other solar systems we'd need a ship that can move at relativisitc speeds, it can withstand something hitting it at said velocity, and is able to regenerate it's fuel and foodstuffs on a regular basis. Also this sucker would probably be going so long you'd need to deal with things like the crew pairing off. And if you want to go further than alpha centauri you need to deal with the fact that probably a couple of generations are going to be on this thing for their entire lives.

It's not a virus, that much is certain given the bios still works (if you yank off all the extra parts). But I think the motherboard just gave up. So, currently I'm looking for a socket AM2 motherboard so I don't have to re-buy both the mommyboard and the processor. Anyone got any ideas for where to get one? I think that socket has pretty much been discontinued.

My question is what will we do first, going to another planet or setting up space colonies in orbit at the gravitational lagrange points around our planet. Sorry the colonies thing is stolen strait from the land of Gundam. I'd guess the colonies because of the sheer amount of time that'd be required to get between, say, mars and earth (the window of opportunity for mars launches are, I believe, a year + apart, due to orbital requirements).

Actually there are currently plans in the works for paid faction changes. you pay and then they have you recreate your character as the other faction with the class locked in place. Because of this they recently made it so you can make the opposite faction on a PVP server.

WoW like we've said takes up HUGE amounts of space. And if your system specs are what you posted then you probably can't play anything made after 2004. 256 mb of ram is TINY in this day and age. My computer wheezes during raids and I've got 1 gig.

Well, my processor got to me but didn't fix my problem with my motherboard, so it looks like I'm gonna be going to a repair shop after yanking out the HD. Then when I asked my mom to help me we got in a fight where she told me that I "met expectations" when I got the best grades I've had since third grade, and then she told me to get a job. I promptly had a bipolar episode where I had a huge (500 pills, half empty) bottle of Ibprofine in my room and was looking at it pondering if I should swallow all the pills left. Yeah... not a good day.
