lasting friendships where you barely see the person for years... the internet is a strange thing in deed *Stares at his avatar waiting to take another drink*

Are they making a KotoR MMO or a Ep2/3 MMO? All the art design is ripped straight from the Clone Wars not friggin ToR.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_Oj0-splZw am I the only one who hears the imperial march on that?

Well, as you pointed out, I don't know you. So arguing from authority as if you're some sort of omniscient god doesn't exactly fly. Particularly if you're going to try and force other people to bring in trustworthy sources to refute points you probably just yanked from your rear end. Honestly it feels like you're just trying to make yourself feel big by ignoring the fact that I admitted I'm fallible and that what I say might not be necessarily true when I could have told you that in my weapons training we did X, even though it was a lie. But hey, if you can think it it MUST be true right? Congratulations you're the VERY first person tossed on my ignore list.

I added an "with" into this... BAD BRAIN BAD! Yeah, Twilight was HARD. For giggles I put on cheats and found that if you wipe out the scourge base it'll instantly start Archimonde carging for the gate (basically ending the level). One cute thing to not is that that, Culling of Stratholm and (of course) Arthas are all in WoW. Arthas you deal with after the events of TFT and kill his Lich King persona, Culling is literally a dungeon that you and a few others charge into that starts with you killing an army of zombies, then dealing with the guys who make you go there (dragons that mess with time) until you defend arthas while he and Mal'Ganis beat each other up. And Twilight of the Gods is a raid (a high level dungeon requiring 25 people) that actually has you doing the Ally>Horde>NE base movement as you defend against waves of creatures and kill all the bosses (then hold off Archimonde for the wysps to get him).

And your asinine assertion that I think that the only way the Commando's went in was with headshots is undermining yours. If you look back I told Wals that I was basing most of my information off of how it was presented here, in that only headshots were mentioned, making it sound like these guys had made executions against their target. And again, you're also making the same assumption that I was in that you're making it sound as if these guys were able to pick their shots from a range, when the videos show that they were basically in a hand to hand melee fight. Now I don't know about you, but as a rational person I feel like if somebody is beating at me with a stick, I'm gonna do my best stop the beating, rather than point at other dude 5 feet away and try to blow his head off. I just love how you're the one who's crying your eyes out about the fact that I'm saying that my knowledge isn't exactly complete, and yet you offer nothing to support your own points. And while the MO of most law enforcement agencies is to switch to heavier weapons, they usually are A) within their own jurisdiction, and not acting upon citizens/agents of a foreign power B) within the legal bounds to initiate any operation and C) Not attached to the military except under extreme circumstances. Also you completely mistook my link. I wasn't saying "thats how it is" I was saying that if Commandos went for headshots mainly (like you seem to be saying) Then they'd try to be the guy in the link, all fourishy and able to mow their way through a squad of guys in 10 seconds because they've practice so much.

There was a fairly long stretch before DotA gained popularity when a large number of really, really good mods were made. That was probbaly before I REALLY got into online.... I do remember the Castle Defense maps with fondness.

Random thought but will we possibly be seeing a tribute to him in Fallout?
-
Eh... It was but Dota was insidious and VERY fast to take root IIRC

Just watched it again and your correct, my mistake. I wonder were I got the broken from. Because every other reviewer under the sun said it was broken unless you went tech/tough/AR because they were playing the doom marine?

I'm not, because of this

Dang... this is sad. And I was just about to be living in the same area and would have dropped him a line to get some food or hang out >.<

Didn't you see the Sony conference? Valve just jumped into the PS3 ship not completely, that's for sure. -
Wait, you weren't a mod, AUTHORITY was a mod not you.

GAK! That red gif is gonna be a mod? NOOOOO! Grats Gifted

No, but it would stand to reason that shooting the chest would be significantly easier than the head given that the chest is what, four time larger than the head? While a headshot MIGHT be a oneshot kill, the impact of a bullet on your body would significantly slow you down no matter where you were hit. And how is a commando's shooting style going to be different than your average soldier? I mean they both have the same goal, kill the other dude, but it's not like a commando is going to try to be this guy: just because he's got a little pin that says "commando!" Not really, but if that was their standard response (Oh darn, we they put up resistance when we were using non-leathal weapons. GET THE BIG GUNS AND KILL 'EM ALL!) then they really need to go back to the drawing board.

Still, most electronics aren't EM hardened. If somebody could figure out a way to pop off an EM pulse WITHOUT the whole nuclear blast bit, it'd be nearly as devestating as if it'd HAD the blast because ALL infrastructure would be ruined.

But this thing is better than your other thing... it's better than all your other things, in fact, you should marry this thing it's just that awesome!

Valve's not actually big on cutscenes in general, HL2 didn't have any either. Depends on your definition of a cutscene. I think just standing there for five minutes while the Vances have a heart to heart and then you watch a cat fight counts .

Actually he seemed a lot kinder to it and better about comparisons than most critics... which is odd.

Dude, we'd loose at fallout for real

no, that was dreamland (which I beat when I was 9 on my Gameboy Brick)
