Those devices are of a type which were used in the mideast to lethal effect. Lethal effect was had here too of course. The 'splosives just went phutt, thank God. This sort of failed tradecraft is the impact of being so aggressive about targetting training camps and safe havens. Not to mention internet surveillance of online guides and whatnot. Just look at news stories concerning the trails of wannabe terrorists. What's interesting to me is the follow up ricin letters to the President and Congress. Now THAT I will bet is a copycat, and maybe white supremacists, stirring the pot. KFQ has gone off ricin as being too widely detectable and frankly rubbish.

I believe the overemphasis on Cristopher Ecclestone's gurning is also lamented - at considerable length - by Armando Ianucci.

I caught the first of this season on iplayer yesterday evening. he's not Dr Who any more. He's simply Hipster Man, superhero. And the script writers seem to have resigned themselves to the sonic wand device.

I know the devastating costs of healthcare, but are you SURE you should have that many eyebrows? May want to get it checked.

Agreed. WTF are we fighting each other for?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-22168202 I know we often talk about Iran as a nuclear tipped fruitbat nightmare. HOWEVER, a disaster like this is pure humanity vs Mother Nature in my book. Dozens may have died, and thousands willl have have had their homes wrecked. A no brainer to say thoughts with them, really. But I figured it'd do no harm to say it.

I'm not sure cruelty is the word, as much as I loath it. the phenomenon of the Lone Fethwit has surely revealed these dogbiscuits are just generically angry rather than cruel. Note to self: I'm really getting the hang of not swearing. Edit: This does not apply when gaming. Without forethought I actually used the following exclamation last week: "Oh, so it's a fight you want, is it, lizard t*ts? Well let's see how you like this, you pathetic c**kbasket!" (edited by witness)

How about partying WITH you after your death, Weekend at Bernie's style? I am, as they say, FULLY down with this. EDIT: In fact, sod it, open invitation to anyone from this forum to attend my wake. That'll surprise the poor ****er who has to organise it.

Erm... having dealt with dead bodies, and seen a mass grave I'd have to say you don't want to be immersed to that extent. I'm just saying, it's fantasy. Be happy there's a divide. ~~ Although being the fabulous hypocrite I am, we had this exact issue in my tabletop group the other week. I made the players take WP rolls to loot a fellow they beheaded (lucky roll with an axe). Naturally the youngest player objected that loting was only sensible. So I treated him to an in depth description of what the body was like. He went a wee bit green at the gills and muttered about failing the WP roll anyway.

Just a thought, not sure why it occurred to me: You mention perking to do assassinations from low light. Wouldn't this inject a whole level of complexity to level design? Suddenly lighting is tactical, not just artistic. It would take over design, OR make shadow assassins uber powerful. Sorry. Unusually smart observation for me. Won't happen again.

A battle with chlamydia? I picture something like the battle of Helm's Deep. </Freudian inference>

“Appear weak when you are strong, and strong when you are weak.” ― Sun Tzu, The Art of War Actually this is European butthurt. After USSR dissolving Great expansion of ex-soviet people began. Millions of Russians infiltrate in European society and occupy everything. All Europa ruled by Russian Mafia now, your elite is bribed, even Brits serve to us ( http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/9509951/Berezovsky-v-Abramovich-trial-How-Boris-Berezovsky-lost-a-fortune.html ). Only Italy save own independence, but they are our ally. Now Europeans are beginning to understand what really happened to them after "win" in Cold War, but its too late. Location: dreamland

I follow your logic, but I doubt there would be another attack quickly, even without media coverage. Quite apart from the simple logistics of building bombs, AlQ standing orders are to go underground after an attack. Disappear off the grid as fast as possible. * Not that low media coverage is imaginable in the US blood and bullets media culture. High competition seems to drive every media source to swarm (The Long Tail notwithstanding). One further thought struck me: Sunni based KFQs in Iraq regularly attack Shia pilgrim processions. I wonder if there might be an inspirational parrallel. * I don't if you can still get them, but after 9/11 the net was awash with AlQ training manuals. I DO NOT advise looking for these online or holding a copy. Ask someone you know in law enforcement if you can read one. DO NOT share any copies. It's very probably an offence, whatever country you live in.

I should be clear that I jumped, but might have been pushed. Don't admire me on those grounds. Actually private eye was my first thought. But [long pause] What the hell. I may as well at least look into it. Strangely enough I am interested in ship construction as a bit of a hobby. But the really massive vessels. There's something as inspiring as cathedrals about such big man made systems. Particularly on the move.

My predictions are: 1. Poorly mixed, or partly separated ANFO devices - red core to explosion, lots of smoke, suggests combustion 2. Al Qaeda aligned group - multiple time staggered devices. Possibly just inspired by, but improbable. 3. Director of group is US national - significance of Boston to US independence 4. They will be caught - Boston FBI are **** hot at counter-terror and org. crime.

I resigned from my job a while back, and today is my first day when I'm supposed to be applying for new ones. Had an awesome home holiday and feel about five years younger. But even my savings won't hold out forever. I'd like job suggestions from the forum, if the honourable members will oblige. I got fethed off with the old one.

I could see Alan Partridge working for Putin, as a charge d'affairs or something.

I always feel younger than I am, because I have a habit of dating women a year or two older. Women over 25 all think they are about to die of old age, and consequently by comparison it's all good. The one time I can recall (offhand) dating a properly younger woman it was like dating an alien. A sexy sexy alien.

Up betimes and ate steak. Then settled down with a good bottle of Chilean Syrah-Grenache and Space Marine. That game is both my favourite and the one I despise the most. The controls are almost random regarding when you pull a move or not, and I fething hate that. But equally I've never played any other computer game that made one feel actually victorious and got the pulse genuinely thumping like a kettle drum.

I re-iterate the point that Margaret Thatcher wouldn't have given a salt and vinegar **** about people partying after her death. That's what 'contempt' is all about, and she was utterly contemptuous of the kind of people who are doing the partying. That contempt was one of her critical weaknesses, because ultimately she disregarded too many people. But without it she wouldn't have got anything done. Personally I'd rather people partied after MY death than ignored me, as seems rather more likely.

Current age + "happy birthday" = one less lock on personal data. With that in mind may I say I'm 107. And my birthday is the 15th of Grune.

Being myself a fellow of wide shoulder and tiny legs I can sympathise. Off the peg suits are an impossible dream. Not sure a kickstarter is needed. really all you need is to find an agreeable and trustworthy needle-weilder.

If you want to know what would have happened to Britain without Thatcher <so sez my mate> look at France.

Today I have been actching up on Youtube material on (obviously) Project Eternity, and also Felicia Day. I'm doing admin, so it's basically radio, but I still think Felicia is sexy in my ears.
