"North Korea is cool" I can't even begin to criticise this or I'll spend the whole day on it.
  2. Trolled for a response. Got one.
  3. Decided I'd ask Raithe. Noticed he's not danish either. Got confused. Realized Raithe and Rosbjerg are two different people. ~~ Yeah, that's what they want you to think. ## In other news, I was too lazy to go get some socks while sitting playing games this evening. Put my gloves on my feet. Most annoyed no one has come round to the door so I could freak them out.
  4. Absolutely nothing is going to change in Israel/Palestine in my lifetime. Which now I type it sounds like some kind of threat, rather than an analysis.
  5. Shame his definition of change the world for the better was "However and in whatever way I please". I'm off to lynch some turtles. Suck it, Democracy!
  6. China and Russia (and possibly other governments) place a far FAR higher premium on internal awareness and control than on external. Especially now we're living in a post World War world of peace and love and civil war.
  7. Good job, Oz-Cit. I'm considering moving, but I don't know how much money wholesale tweed-spitters make out there.
  8. I don't see why the hell we should back up the French on a new anti-militant mission when we're hammering away from Afghan like we stole all the crisps. A fun way to burn a couple of hours is to compare the solid logical foundations of UK foreign policy doctrine with the cowardly fethnuts who actually decide it. Also, hello 'obyknven'. Nice avatar, freedom space monkey.
  9. Big brother needs to get cable. I'm not remotely entertaining.
  10. Up betimes, and to the Obsidian forums. To my surprise I found that everyone did tocar and make the nasty.
  11. I do think it's commmensurate with being young, or inexperienced. I don't think it's necessarily bad. Getting all snarled up and flipped around is all part of the fun of being in love. You can't escape the down side any more than a hangover after drinking. The key point is to not worry about the hangover unless you have to do brain surgery the next day. The same is true of love. Also you must wash your hands. I may have let my metaphor get out of control.
  12. Just remembered it's Friday. Not Tuesday.
  13. We have some new players and some new characters. Time will tell if I chave time to include them here.
  14. Very sorry to hear that, Raithe. Your mom must be pretty tough to keep something like that from showing. As an experienced chap, I advise her to punch the bacteria square in the nuts. ~ Storm blew part of my roof off, and triggered the security failsafe on my front door so I can't lock/unlock it!
  15. I do think it's pathetic to nitpick over verbal slip ups. Think of this whole shamozzle as a job interview. If you were hiring for your business are you going to choose based on just the Q&A? Come to that it would be funny if there was a contractual probation period where it was possible to snapcall an election if the Pres turned out to be lazy and didn't turn up at the White House on time.
  16. Yes, I did that a while back. Raithe threatened me with nerdoid excommunication if I didn't.
  17. I suppose there's no chance of trying him for 'botherist' offences. The crime of being an annoying ****.
  18. I think it's both excessively naive and cynical to ascribe bad politics to a mysterious cabal of ****bags. They are players in, and products of a game in which the electorate are also players. They are no more and no less to blame than we are. It is my belief, shaped over thel ast few months, that if we want better political options then we have to both increase outr capacity for critical thinking, and to attempt simplification of the issues. By which I mean simplifying the mechanisms of government: tax codes, penal codes, IT. If we could do that we might have some hope of getting some less shriekingly hysterical reaction to the issues, and rely less on nutbag poltical movements or apathy.
  19. Good to be back, however briefly. I'd apologise, but I'm sure you've been getting on splendidly. I've been rushed completely out of my mind with my new work. I've lost weight, but also hair. Much more cynical. Still moderate idealism. Don't drink nearly as much.
  20. I think it's bizarre that the British people get so animated about losing judicial sovereignty to the US on a pretty limited range of offences, but cheerfully ignore the complete subordination of our system to the EU. Makes the case moot in my opinion. However, that said, I also think it's ludicrous to conduct an assault on a US system and then claim that one shouldn't face prosecution by the US. If he was lofting coconuts at greenhouses we'd get it. Unless I've understood the nature of the offence.
  21. Hah! Nice wheels.
  22. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-business-18308335 This is just sad. I honestly feel bad for my countrymen if this is what their plan for post-independence is based on. It's as if the fool thinks we're not in the middle of an appalling recession. Inward investment? From where? Why?
  23. I'm convinced this is mkreku scamming all of you. I learned a long time ago not to check out a butt when all you can see is the butt. Especially when it doesn't appear to involve any hips.
