Maybe it's just leaking.

Putin is ugly and short, but he had a wife and still has a platoon of hot chicks at his disposal. A platoon of terrified chicks.

Back to work, but working from home. I keep falling asleep at my desk!

That is some epic ****. EDIT: what is the rest of that album like?

This is probably because, exactly like the very rich, they tend to, at least eventually, become very concerned with losing what luxury they do have. Maybe more so, because they don't have the filthy-rich cushion of having millions/billions in their backpocket in case of bad times. Also, the funny thing in semi-recent years has been how almost everyone that isn't very poor or very rich considers themselves middle-class. On the one hand, the "middle class" is disappearing...on the other hand, "everyone" is middle class. It's much simpler than that. In the UK everyone is middle class because no f***er does any work, so they can't be working class. Least of all the leeches who claim to be the champions of the proletariat.

I'm pretty sure you shouldn't be letting ebola victims lick your earballs.

Journalism and sexism in the games industry
Walsingham replied to LadyCrimson's topic in Way Off-Topic
It doesn't bother me, but to be honest, the more armored one simply looked better... sometimes less revealing looks simply better. Boobs are just that... boobs... I've seen them more times than I can count.... Me too, but I still like to look at them Give a man a fish and he will be fed for a day. Give a man boobs and... ok this has completely broken. -
Yet that is exactly what is happening, the end users so to speak are being blamed for the failings of the system. A good analogy. Well, in reality it's both. My example only works because you'd have to be completely ignorant of your materials to think you could make a suspension bridge out of bronze. If people are a material, then one can still ask why the available materials are crap. In my people as metal analogy then this is at least partly down to culture. People are - in my tiny pointy head - like iron. If well handled they can be used to achieve triumphs. If badly handled they are surprisingly fragile and prone to break. EDIT: Namutree, the US isn't strong in spite of its allies. It is strong because of its allies. It's a strange sort of statecraft that thinks having allies is bad. And by strange I mean ...well...

First day back at work - working from home thanks to enfeebledness. Naturally I can't concentrate and my first tranche of productive work teminated with me wondering if I should go to Games Day and cosplay a squat.

That's weird. Those books are where I first heard the term as well!

That's the point. It's a normal part of writing psych tests. ~~ Collectivism score: -17% Authoritarianism score: 50% Internationalism score: 0% Tribalism score: 17% Liberalism score: 33% Also, if your answer to 26 is 'yes' then shortly thereafter a white van should appear at your place of work or residence, you should be bundled into the back, then taken from that place unto a place of making seafood flavoured snacks, boiled alive, and used as flavouring. EDIT: Hugely amused at notion that people let a system down. If I make a suspension bridge out of bronze and it breaks, then where does the fault lie? the bronze is the material which will fail. But I am am the ***hole who thought it wouldn't.

Girls still very pretty .

American Riots, Michael Brown....is it justified ?
Walsingham replied to BruceVC's topic in Way Off-Topic
I haven't seen that recently. But you clearly need reschooling in Martin Luther King. His final speech covered the importance of economic boycott. Plus it's possibly the most amazing speech I've ever heard. It starts slow, but is well worth sticking with. Like The Blues Brothers. Make up your own minds whether MLK would support what is happening today. CONSPIRACY NOTE: The full version of this speech, which mentions economic boycott _keeps being taken down from Youtube_ and replaced with the neutered version that is much shorter. -
I expect them to be very enjoyable, but light on subtext. But overall I expect them to be a win. JJ Abrams knocked me for six with Fringe. The only thing I really don't like is the way people are complaining about a black stormtrooper in the teaser trailer. WTF is wrong with people? Stormtroopers wear helmets all the goddamn time. To quote Bill Hicks they could be bright green, have nine ***s and an elephant's trunk for all we know. The only thing we actually know about them is they can't shoot for ****.

Well, sure ...technically.

American Riots, Michael Brown....is it justified ?
Walsingham replied to BruceVC's topic in Way Off-Topic
I'm entirely baffled by this. If the shooting was unjustified then sure why not punish the cop. But _if_ it WAS justified then why punish him? I'm genuinely trying to understand the double standard here. If cops don't deserve justice what the **** is the plan for society in your sideways brains? Maybe we the public get justice, cops get ennui, and lemurs get racing cars. Can we have some clarity? -
Hold on... what witchcraft is this? you're posting on here FROM A PUB?

I had roast beef short rib, vegetables, rye bread, today, because IMO being sick doesn't mean eating hospital food. I'm now eating a crisp fresh apple.

I don't mind admitting that I rather do almost anything rather than have steam inhalations when I can't ****ing breathe. I've tried them before and it was like being suffocated to death in a Frenchman's armpit.

Chock full of antibiotics and other medicines today. Still can't talk without dissolving in coughing, but can breathe if I breathe slow. Clean air's like champagne! I never regret a good bout of unpleasantness because it reminds one of the simple pleasures.

American Riots, Michael Brown....is it justified ?
Walsingham replied to BruceVC's topic in Way Off-Topic
Even if people still had doubt about the Wilson verdict, the fact that his testimony includes these wonderful nuggets: - referring to Brown as a demon, basically stopping short of saying he had a tail - saying Brown was as strong as Hulk Hogan - implying Brown wanted to be shot, that it only made him stronger Should be enough for any sane (or non-vindicitive) person to stop and go "um, hey, wait a minute". Fair challenge. But I'd ask how may of these sorts of accounts you've read. iirc you've read a bit of history. how many battlefield accounts would sound credible if you'd only read one? -
ROFL. Please don't do that again. I can't breathe and laughing that hard makes pretty colours start exploding behind my eyes. You are clearly missing the point. The death rate goes even higher. The CIA lives on the passing of mortal souls. EDIT: In all seriousness, if the CIA really did make money on drugs then the last thing it would want is mass production on a scale we're currently seeing. They would want the trade to be big, but controllable. Right now street prices are insanely low.

I In my considered opinion we should be afraid of whoever is controlling oby.

American Riots, Michael Brown....is it justified ?

What I find ludicrous, but unsurprising, is how emotive an issue like this can be without much reference to the facts. I'm not suggesting everyone who feels strongly about it is going off half ****ed. But is everyone out there basing their behaviour on analysis? Really? I have a theory that many of the people who are quick to blame cops for being prejudiced and not thinking about situations are simply projecting their own bloody stupidity.
