Still adding value to the community. Brings a tear, don't it?
-
Does anyone else notice the dramatic shift in syntax between these two examples of oby posts? You're paranoid. He probably took mentats between posts.

Apologies for trying to wrassle this off target, but... how does this furore reflect issues surrounding Islam?

14 years old, I had considered. But then I thought "No, Walsingham. 14 year olds are young, but they are full of a combustible mixture of hope and despair. They may be stretching into their destiny, or dissembling from it. But if there is one thing they are, it is themselves. "This isn't someone merely assuming a random name and nationality, such as 'Walsingham'. This is someone who has so far abandoned any self worth that they are assuming a false identity in toto. No doubt they think they are doing it to prove that they have the technical skill to confuse and mislead others, but ultimately this is a broken, empty individual. So completely beyond the pale that they don't even compose a false identity that is heroic. They compose one that is racist, homophobic, and delights in the suffering of an entire nation." In short, I thought to myself: This is an adult acting in a manner wholly beneath the standard of conduct I expect from a spastic colon. The judgement may see harsh. But as the mods have made clear we are an inclusive community, so we can't just ban them, as we would some relatively well -meaning pervert who posted pictures of their junk. We have to accept their perverse desire to flaunt their far more serious mental illness.

Oh for the love of... 'oby' isn't a Russian. Just read some of these posts again, and look at the gramar and spelling. It's not even remotely Russian, it's very plainly someone obsessed with Russia pretending to be Russian. If you want to find out what Russians think then by all means do so. They have a rich culture and many are well educated and erudite. Talking to oby is tantamount to interrogating my toilet bowl on the habits of the Plain Indians.

FIFTY QUID for a bottle of cheap port? But then I guess Ros _is_ being paid for out of those taxes.

I'm no expert but... Taylor Fladgate, ****burn's, Fonseca, and Sandeman are all brands that I enjoy. Tawny is my favorite followed by white then ruby but you can make some decent ****tails with it if you happen to get one you don't like. My personal favorite is probably a ruby port with red bull I don't why in the name of all that's inebriated you'd drink port with red bull. But Fonseca is certainly a good port in my opinion. I prefer LBV, as it tends to be more fruity. Tawny port is all well and good, but I can't help feeling slightly ambivalent towards it.

Well, I haven't partied like that since my twenties. I also don't recall the last time I kept throwing up like this.

Yes, I see.

Th neighbours will have heard the outraged bull like wail of an educated grown up watching the Dr Who episode. What the name of the nine names of **** is going on with the writers? Can the BBC really not recruit someone who can be arsed to write episodes that actually fit together and have internal logic? It's not as if there aren't _literally_ millions of hard working authors out there, desperate for a chance. Hell, we've got two or three on these bloody forums who could do a better job than this drivel.

Obliged to take time off due to working long hours in preceeding weeks. Evening session with boys, beer, brandy, whisky, port. Played Munchausen.

I approve of your sentiment in principle, but I draw your attention to how that young lady would look without makeup and filters. I'm not averse to good presentation. I just think it is sensible to consider how ANY girl might look with an affectionate eye and a makeover.

Interesting, that's some tough eating goals you have set yourselves especially if you use those things regularly I assume this is for weight loss? Do you both want to lose weight and what exercise are you incorporating into your health program? No changes in exercise. It's not specifically to lose weight, although that will most probably be a side effect. It's just a thing we wanted to do. We both know that we would not be able to fast for real, so we at least agreed to try something and we ended up with this. But why do you want to do it, there must be some objective or reason? Why? I am amused to note that Argentina is accusing P&G of not paying its tax. This is a country (or more accurately a president) that defaults on its own loans quite cheerfully.

Sashaying nimbly past the bulk order of blondes: Beatrice Dalle, gentlemen. EDIT: I keep forgetting how young you are. I first saw Beatrice Dalle in the film Betty Blue (which is on Netflix UK now). SUBEDIT: Like Bill Hicks I'm constantly amazed at how women seem attracted to total ****holes. According to wikipedia, Ms Dalle is now married to a man convicted of rape and assault. Who she met in jail.

Up betimes, and paid the price for a weekend eating almost nothing but red wine and steak.

And who can blame him? I'm free range, herb fed, and drink beer. I'm ****ing kobe beef. EDIT: Apparently I am actually http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matsusaka_beef

I don't WANT to eat dog. Frankly there's no need whatsoever.

I'd read it! I'd read it furtively under the duvet.

If giving meat a name stopped you eating it, what would become of Jesus? Oh it wouldn't stop me. I have no qualms about the taste of fried rabbit just because it had a name. However... some folks who live in my house are more sentimental than I am, I personally won't eat any animal I've had as a pet either. That means iguanas, rats, and cats are out... This, of course, requires the leap of faith that when I get Chinese takeout, that is indeed pork, beef, or chicken I'm being served. Frankly I'd take good honest free-range dog over the bootleg chicken many takeaways serve.

More dark red wine. French. Red as sin, and as dark as the shadow of a saint. Or something.

Adopting a pose you don't really believe in just because you are a vacuous emptiness is obviously contemptible. But I think it would be a mistake to assume that everyone who gets angry about these issues is simply a front.
