At least it'll be easier to spot oby's chosen people in this thread.

One must surely make the observation that power is not an end in itself. Having control of a people by starving them to docility is like taking ownership of a jet plane, disassembling it, crating it, and leaving it in your loft. It is the mark of a psychotic disposition, not greatness.

You're takiing a rather narrow view, Woldan. GD's exercise is just as good as organised PT for keeping a body hale and hearty. Indeed, if there was a single mistake I made in my own military training it was doing PT, but not keeping otherwise active. I feel healthier now than I did back then, and that;s from just doing 40 minutes walk a day, and about 4x6 hour shifts on my feet, with a sense of urgency. Of course it's hard to say what's down to the xercise, and what's down to being free from cancer-related grimness.

I'm playing L.A. Noire today. Coincidence? Not on this forum, sister. I'm not your sister buddy. Sorry. Didn't realise you were Scottish.

I think it's one hell of a lot more likely that we were simply caught napping. There were no units ready for ANY of the stuff in the so-called Arab Spring. Even the Iranians took a while to get moving and they have been linked into events in Syria for an age.

I have to acquire some of those gummi bears. There are a great many folks in need of swift ungodly justice. I wonder if one could customise a nerf gun to fire them into people's open mouths? EDIT: It would appear that the key ingredient is LYCASIN. I deduce that one could load lycasin syrup into a supersoaker and get into the world's most deviant waterfight. As a point of order I am not encouraging anyone to give lycasin to anyone. Always forcefeed lycasin on the advice of a physician.

Inaccurate. Calling out the squad on them got the thread closed. Break out the tinfoil and start making hats, gentlemen.

Am pleased to say that with the exception of a Spanish grand Reserva it was easy to hold my ground yesterday. I held ground, but it WAS hard to refuse. Still had fun. Which just goes to show I need to hang out with less reputable people. Reckon I'll keep it up until December. Just to prove the point.

It could well be a mi-go. And I think the other object is meant to be my mom.

Finishing the Diary of Anne Frank now. It's really weird. Much like with Martin Luther King's last speech, there is a profoundity which seems hardly plausible. I can only assume that Frank knew something was very wrong, and danger increasing. Certainly the inhabitants of the annex are behaving like bloody idiots, and the SD are picking up many of the people involved in supplying them.

Managed to avoid booze yesterday, so am now capable of planning Sunday lunch. Going to have large tray of roast veg, and sausages.

When i was a kid I had a problem with needles. But when I was ... I guess 16/17 I decided enough was enough. I was in for some travel inoculations and a blood sample. I forced myself to watch every single instant of the process, eyes not wavering one millimetre. Cured me instantly. What bothered me was needles in the abstract. In reality the whole thing is fascinating. That realisation changed the abstract and hey presto!

Dude. I can't believe you've blanking all those cards and things they've been sending.

Yeah, like if someone did a version of Hamlet with a loud car alarm going off constantly, that wouldn't make it bold and edgy.

I love that movie. I wonder where my copy is?

Me neither, I got local anesthetization and the doc pulled the tooth in mere seconds. I didn't feel a thing. I didn't even get ''knocked out'' when I got my throat surgery, again local anesthetization and they removed one of my small tonsils. That hurt though, and I had a hard time trying not to choke on the blood or swallow one of the surgical instruments.Though they asked me first if I wanted a local or a full anesthetization, I picked local because I didn't want to spend a night in the hospital. I've only been out once, and I have to say it was awesome. Morphine pre-med followed by total knockout. Woke up x hours later, hungry as hell, and feeling like I'd been physically dry-cleaned.

It took a fair degree of digging to even find a mention of her being Jewish, online. Putin accused the band of being anti-semites. Perhaps oby is confusing his trolling.- 526 replies

Taking an extended and long-delayed break from drinking. This is the first serious test as I will be at a party with free booze.

Not only do I not believe you, Woldan. But by the power vested in me by CAMRA I am officially denouncing you as a witch. INTERPOL will later raid your dwelling, where as per SOP, they will find a selection of broomsticks and a tall pointed hat.

Why not Chris Avellone or J.E. Sawyer? ...Because they can write with imagination and flair. -
Real ale and good red wine both have important nutrients and are good for morale. Don't listen to that strenuous axe murderer.
