The original never really focused on space travel. Since so many people expressed disinterest in the "turret" mini-game, I think it will be focused on even less in KOTOR:TSL. I don't see major upgrades or additions to what you can do in space travel. Maybe in KOTOR:3

Getting away from the Dark Thug concept of evil...
EnderAndrew replied to Dereth's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Let's travel back to Korriban. HK-47 comes strolling into Dustil's room with a blaster pointed at Dustil's head. He explains that Carth ordered HK to kill Dustil on the basis that he wouldn't want "some idiot Sith son of his" running around anymore. Then arrange for Carth to walk into the room at the same moment. You've planted enough seeds of distrust, that only one of the two are walking out of the room alive. The survivor is left feeling betrayed, and angry. They become putty in your hands, as you use them as a tool of destruction aimed at Saul. That's the kind of stuff I want to see. -
I'm going to go blind.

The Sith Lords - Speculation
EnderAndrew replied to EnderAndrew's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I think the personal attacks really need to be cleaned up. The rest, I don't know. I try to ignore them. If someone uses childish behavior to clammor for attention, then I think it's best to deny them that attention. Perhaps they need another moderator. -
The Princess Bride features the simplest, and yet satisfying romance of any book/movie I can think of.

The Sith Lords - Speculation

I wouldn't get into those either, without a nice thick latex suit. -
Color me crazy, but I think one of the most romantic films of the past decade is Chasing Amy. It's honest. It's touching. It's painful.

Why be destructive simply for the purpose of being destructive? That's being a psychopath. Palpatine sought a rise in power, and total control. Violence and destruction were tools to demonstrate power when needed, or to quell usurpers. The Sith believe that weakness is exorcised through similiar veins. But, destruction with no purpose is silly. If you rigged the water supply, and threatened to destroy it unless you gained control of Bacta shipments, that is fitting for a Sith.

The Sith Lords - Speculation

You started a thread dedicated to the plot twist, with serious intentions to discuss it. This thread is done in wild humorous fashion, regarding speculation on gameplay, characters, plot, etc. They are seperate threads. -
The Sith Lords - Speculation
EnderAndrew replied to EnderAndrew's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Hardly. Voyager and Enterprise aren't superior shows to anything. I was being facetious. -
I think it's a good idea, but unlikely as Avellone said you won't be able to upgrade the Ebon Hawk.

T3 should describe the first game
EnderAndrew replied to Omedarcus's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The events of KOTOR are fairly famous though. The new MC probably heard of Revan, and could supply basic details such as if they were male/female and if they became Sith or not. -
How about a "sith lords Wednesday"

I don't demand Full Disclosure. I demand a playable demo, yesterday. -
What are examples of the type of romance we'd like to see in KOTOR:TSL?

What do you think the twist(s) will be in KOTOR II
EnderAndrew replied to Tyrell's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
There are so many things we don't know. First off, it seems that the Jedi Council is either no more, or scattered and in hiding. Why is this? Was the victory in KOTOR pointless? How have the Sith so quickly risen to power again? What if the Jedi Council was manipulated by the Sith? Convince the Jedi to retrain Revan, rather than kill him. Use him as a tool to take down the fool Malak. In the mean time, while the Jedi are all concerned about the Star Forge, the Dark Lords of the Sith emerge from the shadows and strike while Revan and Bastilla are away. Malak was a patsy to get Revan and Bastilla out of the way. (Light Side Revan) Bastilla goes ballistic, and tries to take on the new Dark Lords, and dies trying. Revan is shook by the death of his love, and goes off into solitude, torn between wanting revenge, and wanting to not embrace the Dark Side. After all, it was Revan's insistance that their love was a strength to them, nor a hinderance that would lead to the Dark Side. By embracing the Dark Side, he proves Bastilla's fears right. (Dark Side Revan) Seeing a potential shift of power in the Galaxy, and being the arrogant hussy that Bastilla can be, she challenges Revan for power in proper Sith fashion, but dies trying. Revan forsees that the other Dark Lords will seek him out, and seek his destruction just like Bastilla did. If the the new MC tries to restore the Jedi Order, Revan makes a cameo and tries to dissuade the new MC, saying that the Jedi Order served as pawns to the Sith before, and likely it would occur again. The warring between the two factions has brought untold death to the galaxy, and continuing said battle will only bring more death and destruction. The best thing for the Galaxy, is stability regardless of the ruling party. If the Jedi believed in their so-called tenets, they wouldn't seek out war regardless of the enemy. -
A fine, underrated film. I also highly recommend Delicatessen, and City of Lost Children by the same director.

I dunno, it depends on how advanced the droid's AI is. I could see largely in part because of my Asimovian readings, a droid in the Star Wars universe being connected to the force. Perhaps not an astromech Droid, but I have no qualms about HK being connected to the force. I don't remember his name, but there is that one clone Jedi in the New Academy that Luke runs, comes from a world of asexual clones, all completely identical genetic data, other than slight personality or physical variants; only something went awry with him, and he had a connection to the force. So I could see an advanced, and extremely quirky droid such as HK having a connection with the force. There is always the possibility that a droid's AI could become self-aware, and thus be truly alive. Having a single droid connect to the Force as an exception is an interesting story worth exploring. However, both HK and T3 had DS/LS ratings. Once again, it was a minor thing. -
Sony had a contest to allow people to attend E3. Traditionally, you have to be in the "industry" to attend, but with web-comic artists being considered media, more and more people are going that would never have gone before.

The Cubs don't even try most years, so I don't see the pain or aguish there most of the time. Dusty Baker seems to be doing a fine job trying to win however. The Bears are up and down. But I haven't seen them have a heart-breaking season. The Blackhawks. I'm sorry. That's gotta hurt. And the desecration of the house that MJ built, that's pretty painful too. I feel for Chicago.

Sounds like one of my dates.

Questions the the Devs - Take 2

Without taking sides, can I politely ask that we reserve this thread for questions to the devs and their responses? -

No, I have no qualms with HK-47's personality being dark. I just don't think it should have a game mechanic of DS/LS points since they aren't actually connected to the Force. It's a minor nitpick.
