  1. The problem is that an epilogue would have taken a few things away from the upcomming sequel.
  2. I noticed while playing Lionheart that Jennifer Hale did voice acting in that as well, though I prefered her Bastilla voice.
  3. Hmm... good question....one unlikely to be answered anytime soon however.
  4. I think you should be able to "maintain" certain Force Powers, or have certain powers be reflexive. If you could absord/dissipate a blaster bolt, like Vader did with his hand, then Jedi wouldn't wear armor.
  5. Getting drunk is vastly overrated. (Though I do love to occassaionally partake of some good rum, or a good bottle of wine) Kudos to you.
  6. I'm curious. How many people on the forum are old enough to drink beer in the first place?
  7. I think the question that everyone is forgetting, is whether or not Mira is single. Fanboys need fictional animated character to fantasize about, after all.
  8. Are you kidding? After playing the turret mini-game, I burned my old X-Wing games. Who needs those anymore?
  9. I want to congratulate Raven on the popularity of his poll. Chairman Kaga would be proud.
  10. Errr....fixed now. These are not the droids you are looking for....
  11. I'd love to see MCA spill a little on his take on FO3 while he's at it, but I know that's not going to happen.
  12. I can`t find The Fall `s homepage.Does anyone know it?? The Fall
  13. Shenmue 2 was pretty disappointing, and Dreamcast fans should have been used to Sega abandoning them. I dug the Dreamcast, and it current serves as a box to host emulators for me, but Sega really doesn't like their fans.
  14. Actually, my friends and I use some rather harsh terms for one another. We joke about some pretty screwed up stuff. It's vulgar, and it's fun. We've also known each other many years, and our comments have a vocal tone, facial expressions, body language, and years of context that they are applied in. The typed word has at best, a lengthy context. I could be wrong here, and a complete idiot. However, I don't get the impression that the insults in this forum are friendly.
  15. A couple years ago, I rubbed in my friend's face (from Boston) that the Patriots didn't have a chance in the Super Bowl against the Rams with Faulk and Warner healthy. I ate some crow. Last year, he turned around and counted out his Red Sox down two games to the A's in a best of three series. I guarateed the Red Sox would win three in a row. Then they turned around, beat the A's three times in a row, and gave the Yanks a damned good run for their money. They went 5 outs from going to the World Series. Mike ended up eating some crow. No one won anything yet in the NBA. I don't care for the Lakers, but I like their chances. However, they aren't even in the Finals yet. I didn't think the Pacers had it in them to win Game 4 in the East, and they surprised me. Heck, look at the NHL. Who guessed that Calgary would be two games from winning it all? I thought the NHL shut down when Detroit and Colorado lost. Are they still playing hockey?
  16. This really gets me. I haven't spent a whole lot of money of comics. In fact, next to none. I don't have anything against the medium, but I dated a would-be comic artist for about 18 months, and she spent boat-loads on comics. She used to tell me about every major plotline she ever read. I got interested in many of the characters, but didn't feel the need to spend $70-$80 a month on comics (that was her usual amount). When some of these comic-book-based movies started appearing, I heard complaints left and right about changes from the original books. Spidey was bit by a radioactive spider, not a genetically altered spider, etc. For one, I think any medium being adapted to another medium requires changes. And for another thing, comics themselves change continuity themselves, so there isn't a 100% definititive continuity to stick to.
  17. We don't need no water. Let the muther-****** burn.
  18. Sadly, many of the people here thing that calling someone a dickwad is being friendly.
  19. I think that's a fair assessment. I felt like Bioware felt the need to show the few cutscenes they had over and over again.
  20. Comics are a medium where it's standard for a new team to start over continuity-wise. Different people have different takes, and people accept that. Fans in other genres insist on nit-picking continuity all day. I like lengthy stories where characters become very fleshed out, and consistency in characters is nice, but I'm not going to blow an artery because continuity isn't upheld. It's a real big deal, then I'll stop throwing money at it, and find something else to entertain myself with.
  21. See, I'm going to go back to the West End Game's Star Wars system for a minute because I'm a big fan of that. A decent set or armor would net you 1D of Energy Resistance, and 2D of Concussion Resistance, while costing you 1D of Dexterity. It didn't interfere with using the Force at all. Jedi didn't wear the stuff because it didn't seem practical for them. Bounty Hunters and the like wore it, because it seemed more practical for them. In years of running Star Wars game, never once did I see a Jedi player put on armor.
  22. Detroit is up 3-2. Let's hope they close this out. I don't think Indiana can be competitive with the Lakers. I'd like to see the T'Wolves win the next two, but I think it's quite unlikely.
  23. I'm closing my eyes now. Hide away!
  24. Yep. Raven's avatar is a picture of said Chairman Kaga from Iron Chef, biting into a raw bell pepper. It should also be noted that Chairman Kaga did voice work for Pokemon. This is my ruler? Whatever.
