Throw in good organizational skills and you could be a Designer/Writer. I think that's more what you want. Brainstorming is important, but design and organization more-so.

Throw coffee-fetching into that mix and you may have Feargus.

Well, you don't need my permision. Vote already!

It's probably too late to incorporate a whole lot of fan suggestions in KOTOR:TSL. However, that doesn't mean that Obsidian has to leave it's fans hanging high and dry. They've got another concept in mind for their second project. My guess is that it's another RPG. I'm also betting it's a new setting. What would we like to see? What kind of suggestions can they implement in their next project? (Don't scream about doing FO3, or KOTOR:3. This thead is for suggestions on the basis that the project will be a new IP)

I was really excited about Obi-Wan, and equally disappointed. They could have done better. Maybe the sequel would be better.

KOTOR 2 Interview with ValhallaGamers

Tell Feargus I could go for a cup, extra strong and black. -
I read MegaTokyo for a while. I love anime, gaming, and Japan. Still some of the jokes seemed lost on me. Not to mention, when the artist kicked the writer out of the comic, I lost interest.

Most companies either want really current (read: C++, .net, C#, Python, etc) or really old (COBOL, FORTRAN). So I'm screwed.

You get brownie points in my book.

That's what frustrates me about people. The President doesn't control the economy. Let's draw a simple comparison between our economic crisis and the crash in '29. The stock market was over-valued in the 20's. The stock market prospered, but set itself up for a huge crash. In the 90's we had a similiar situation. People weren't investing on borrowed money for the most part, but we had too much growth too quickly. We were ripe for a crash. Then 9/11 happens and everyone panicks. In my town, someone started selling gas for $4.50 a gallon that day. For reference to non-US residents, it was $1.20 the day before. Clinton had cut the military to a fraction of it's previous size. And the public demanded that the government be responsible for relief after 9/11. This really gets me. We all give money to insurance companies all the time. When the s*** really hits the fan (hurricans, terrorists, whatever) insurance companies always throw their hands in the air and the government foots the bill. Insurance companies brag about billions and billions of dollars in liquid assets, and they have huge profit margins but then they scream they'll go bankrupt if they have to pay claims. Ahem. So the government gives money not only to rebuild New York, and DC but to the families of victims. You see, taxpayers are somehow required by unwritten laws (with no precedent) to take care of people who got s*** on in life. I feel for the victim's families. It's horrible. It really is. But demanding money from the government really was unprecedented. Bush was put in a situation where he was required to spend, spend, and spend. And the while big corporations are hoarding what they've got, and investors are panicking. The government cut interest rates, and trying to support the economy as best they could. However, no one man controls the economy. It's pure myth.

Think it's because the programming stuff requires people to know something about computers. Any idiot can write a crappy short story and think he'd make a good writer/designer, but sit a random guy down and try and have him program a game and he'll be weeping like a little girl in a room full of onions and tear gas by the end of the day. I've programmed in Basic, VB, DarkBasic, Pascal, FoxPro, and C. Not C++, good ol' C in Unix. And I realize that I'm a mediocre programmer. So I don't pursue it as a career. I still will sing the praises of Pascal and no one will listen.

I think they are smart and agressive enough to shut down any team. However, the Lakers have guys that can make shots in the face of great defense. Detroit, well, um, they have defence.

The psychology of relationships that incorporate dominance and submission are fascinating. I think they're more honest, and usually more healthy despite incorporating what can be considered "deviant" behavior. That is a conversation for another time.

Where is your quote from?

Dual-wielding seemed to be the way to go in KOTOR.

There is a place here in Ames Iowa that has the best Mexican food I have ever tasted called "La Fuente." If you are ever in Ames, um er Hell, Iowa and like Mexican food go there. Flying tangental airlines again, I've been in Ames. I'm sorry. Next time I head out to Ames (usaully for a concept or a football game) I'll look up that place. I live in Omaha, and I constantly feel the need to defend the midwest. I've lived on both coasts and I like living in Nebraska. I work in Iowa, but I make sure and shower each night when I go home.

FrankK, If you hide a pong mini-game in KOTOR:TSL, you will become my personal hero.

Quite true. Most Americans fail to realize that the President's power is dwarfed by figures like the Speaker of the House. My girlfriend is Canadian, and she got a 100% in her civics class because she knew more about this country than most Americans. I think this country really needs better public education. People should read some Jonathon Kozol. His books are downright frightening.

How many titles are in development then?

Jon, Various other people played the game fine. Perhaps you may need to look at your system. Is it set up for gaming? Have you run thorough up-to-date spyware and virus checks? Is your HDD defragged? If you have multiple HDDs, is Windows and the Pagefile on the same HDD as the game? How many programs and services are running in the background? Do you have the latest drivers and version of Catalyst? How much memory is free? How is the game configured? Tweak XP That is a great website with tips, and resources for getting the best performance out of your machine. -
GWB is also the first President of the United States with a Masters Degree. He got it at Yale. Yep, he's a real idiot.

The problem is that skills are underpowered so Non-Jedi are that much more useless. If a mod made more use of skills things would be different.

What do you think the twist(s) will be in KOTOR II
EnderAndrew replied to Tyrell's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Lucas said he wanted to tell the story of real low-tech underdogs defeating the hi-tech Empire However, since Chewie got to work on the Falcon, Wookies wouldn't be seen as low-tech. He said Ewoks made better underdogs. I personally would have preferred to see limbs being ripped off. We'll see a Wookie battle in Ep3, but the Wookie armor I've seen so far looks pretty ridiculous.
