The concept of NWN was great and the execution rather poor. The BIS crew often took Bioware engines and improved upon them, and I expect the same with NWN:2. I don't care for D&D, and I don't care for the way NWN butchered D&D. You should atleast use the license you pay for. But the original campaign in NWN was about as bad as it gets, and with this team, it has to get better.

GURPS = Generic Universal RolePlaying System. Character creation is wide open and plenty of fun, but the rules are cumbersome, and you have to pour over twenty books. Steve Jackson games publishes GURPS as their flagship. Fallout was originally going to be a GURPS game, and the first demo used GURPS rules. But Black Isle couldn't get the rights to GURPS and they invented SPECIAL instead, which makes me a happy camper.

The average salary for a player is around 1.3 million in both leagues. I said the average salary for a starter was around 2 million, and it was last time I checked. Not every player starts.

And you have my prayers as well, though I'm sure in the end the work will be rewarding enough that the heat wouldn't be too much of a burden.

I tended to agree with you until I objectively looked over the previews to the game. It stands to possibly be better than titles like Dark Alliance in both appearance, and depth of story. If the action, challenge and character development is there, I'll be happy. I don't expect it to be a great game. I expect it to be a Dark Alliance style multiplayer dungeon crawl.

I don't think they spread like wildfire. France elped us (Lafayette) gain our democracy, and we helped France gain theirs. France didn't randomly become democratic because we did. Civ represents this where two Civs can cooperate and share discoveries. I am also under the impression that tech trees and discoveries work completely diferent than before. You can completely skip prereqs, and there are no ages now.

I'm sorry. I've been playing Devil's Advocate, but really I agree with you. I don't think it will happen, and I would prefer developing a strong KOTOR:3 over replaying a game I already beat and buying it again.

Yet the Ravens managed to win the Super Bowl with a QB that couldn't even make the practice squad on any team in the league next year. Sometimes I think the QB role is overrated. I say you run your team through where the talent lies.
