"Increased max light" hopefully means that you can raise your light without having to do those special events. It's frustrating because my gear is sooooo close to reaching 300, but I just never get the drops to push it over the top. My overall light level is at 295 now, but I'm not seeing any engram drops now that help me upgrade on that.

I'm talking about infusing so yes, you can only infuse a helmet into a helmet and so on. I know, but I meant, for instance a Warlock can't equip a Titan's helmet. But can a Warlock's helmet be used to infuse a Titan's helmet? Of course. Do you know if it's possible to raise your Light level above 300 without having to do the Raids and earn Raid gear? So far, the only gear I have that's above 300 is that special item slot. I got something from Eris Morn at 300 for completing a task, but I also found another item at 304. But that's the only slot in my equipment has has an item above 300.

I'm just praying that evil doesn't just mean you keep a widow's dead husband's wedding ring and cackle about it when completing a quest for her, or threatening the kid on the street if he doesn't give you his last 2 coins in his inventory. Subtlety. Evil actions done to help you achieve a real purpose, not just to be a bully or a murderous psychopath, is what I'm hoping for. -
you can always put the gear you don't need in stasth and then use it to infuse gear for the other character ... Weapons, but does it work for armor? I figured it had to be the same armor type since each class can't cross-use armor.

I never seem to have a chance to play my second character in Destiny. Every day there's bounties to complete, so I keep doing them for my main character in hopes of getting better gear. So my secondary character has pretty weak gear.

Motes of light are for quick upgrading. Though i don't remember how many you have to use per armor to unlock everything. Even those seem to take forever, especially with the armor pieces. Guns seem to level up quicker. Yeah 15 motes for special, 10 or so for heavy and around 20+ for primary is nothing compared to 100 for Exotic armor maybe even legendary armor. I have no idea why they made it so, used to be far less XP needed to upgrade armor. The equipment drops in Destiny are also kind of weird. For the longest time, when I was a lower level and needed some purple (or better) equipment, I couldn't get any in engram drops or for completing tasks. Now that I've got all my equipment slots filled up with purple or gold gear, it seems like I'm getting at least 2 purple engrams per play session (regardless of what game type I play). It almost felt like from about Light level 240 and below, I got zero purples. Now that I've been over Light 280, I'm getting them regularly (I literally have my entire Warlock band section full of purple gear I need to level up so I can dismantle for Legendary marks).

It's Obsidian, it's a RPG, so I'm obviously going to buy it. How much I might actually enjoy it remains to be seen as more details are released.

More Destiny. It's difficult to find gear to help me increase my Light level at my current level. Pretty much just Raid gear, I think, since even purple drops give me stuff that's a good 10 to 15 levels below my Light level. My helmet's currently my lowest rated piece of equipment at level 289.

There has got to be a quicker way to level up gear so I can dismantle them for full legendary marks. I've got like 8 purple armbands for my Warlock and only want to keep my best rated one. The rest I'm going to dismantle, but I need to level them up completely before they'll net me the full 5 legendary marks.

You say it like turning invisible isn't realistic. I have the ability to turn invisible anytime I'm around beautiful women. I'll be standing right in front of them and it's like they can't even see me! -
Somehow managed to finish the Court of Oryx quest given to you by Eris Morn. I joined a battle summoned by a group of three other players, and it just so happened to be the one I was missing to finish off the quest. I got a 300 level item from Eris, but unfortunately I already had an item in that slot with a 304 rating. The 300 level one from Eris, however, has better Intelligence and Discipline stats, so I might wear that one.

The Court of Oryx is strange. Sometimes I'll get a bunch of blue loot drops, and sometimes nothing. I also can't seem to get the hang of how to lower some enemies' immunity.

Bought it last Wednesday. I still haven't gotten around to opening the package because I'm obsessed with upgrading my gear in Destiny at the moment.

The boss battles were one of the things I absolutely hated about the Dying Light core game. Glad to hear they seem to have gone in a different direction with the expansions. ----- Still playing Destiny. I finally found an awesome piece of armor for my Warlock. It's an exotic (yellow) I bought from Xur this evening. It looks like a mad priest/cleric's outfit.

Well, I just found out tonight that I've been wasting purple weapons/gear in order to upgrade my other purple gear. Stupid me, but it turns out you can use blue gear/weapons to upgrade purple stuff as well, as long as it's of higher rating. I just thought you could use purple to upgrade other purple, and thus instead of dismantling them for more legendary marks, I've been using them to upgrade. Gah! I've literally thrown over 100 legendary marks down the drain because of this.

I can't get the hang of the jumping ability of the Hunter in Destiny. My Warlock seems to be able to cover so much more ground, and jump a lot higher. I end up dying once or twice with the Hunter whenever I have to make a jump across a chasm.

I'm trying to finish up this one quest in Destiny where you have to kill three special targets on each of the "maps". Usually I get these all the time when I'm doing patrol missions, but now that I actually need them I never seem to actually get them assigned to me. Took me forever to get the Venus one to come up.

Um ... the first one? Not sure. I just showed up near that area where the floor is burning when you step on it, but when you click on one of the runes in the hallway it turns into this little battleground. I did the sword quest. It ended up being disappointing because the only swords available were offensive level 220. All my gear is 280 and up. Speaking of exotic gear, I had my third exotic gear from a purple engram and for the third time, it was for a Titan! Are you kidding me? Three random, fluke exotics out of a purple engram and all three are for a character class I'm not using?!

The Court of Oryx seems very difficult taking it on solo. I was lucky some other player happened to be there when I tried it the second time. He ended up being a bullet sponge while I killed the main bad guy.

Apparently armor doesn't go up by 10 defense when you infuse it with a higher level armor piece. I had extra boots, so I decided to upgrade my "weakest" ones using others that are stronger, but only slightly. But it only went up 5 defense, which was kind of a waste because the item I used to infuse it with was already at that level.

Well. That's fine with me. Most of the groups I've been apart of have not had mics. Let me know your psn name or better yet, mine is SadExchange and we can then hit up some missions if you want to play some multiplayer. I'll add you to PSN when I get a chance.
