Okay, that was annoying. I played a PvP match in Destiny (team control) because it said you earn 10 Legendary marks as a reward. Well, twice I played (won once, lost the other) and I didn't get awarded any legendary marks. I'm only at 116 in my inventory, so I haven't reached the 200 inventory limit.

I'm going to buy the PS4 version of the Division. I'm antisocial on PSN though, so even if I group with someone I hate using a mic (my friends hate me when we used to play CoD).

To be honest, I haven't followed the Division too closely the last couple of months. My anticipation is based on stuff I saw/read from sometime last year (maybe summer?).

Finished The Taken King story for Destiny. It seemed a lot shorter than the second expansion, the one you get from the Awoken chick. There's a lot of stuff to do post-final mission, but I thought it would be longer and more involved than it was.

Playing more Destiny. I got excited when a purple engram actually turned into an exotic pair of boots, only to then realize I couldn't use them. I'm a Warlock and the boots are for Titans. Even when I have good luck, it's still bad luck.

I remember loving that game until they changed the game mechanics that punished any pitcher that wasn't a strikeout pitcher or who walked a decent amount. Pitchers like Tom Glavine or Bob Tewksbury got rocked every time I imported their seasons, even though in real life they had Cy Young caliber years.

It was beyond annoying. I was playing Rift today because 15 Legendary marks were available for playing a match, and the entire game I was the only person on my 6-person team who even attempted to get the rift and run it to the opponent's end. The dumb thing is you *could* get a whole bunch of kills by doing that, because that's where the other team's players would all head towards. So you could just sit by where the rift spawns and camp until enemies show up and pick them off. But my teammates weren't even smart enough to try that strategy.

Destiny's MP would actually be decently fun if the people actually did the objectives. So annoying watching teammates just go around trying to earn kills, while ignoring the actual team challenges you need to accomplish to win the game.

It's bungie's weird design with all this light in year 2. YOu can get exotics with light level 310 only after you're over light level 300 but every vendor sells 280 gear. Suffer suffer the player must. Maybe you'll have more luck once they release any new update to light level, since you'll have the game goal as everyone else upgrading. Each of those bosses has their own spawn location. I think they one you're after is at Skywatch on Earth. So patrol and then left until you can't go left anymore. :D I'm wondering if that boss is even on Earth. I remember the previous bounty I got was for some Baroness something something, but it said to patrol Mars to find her. I searched and searched Mars, but she never seemed to spawn. Lo and behold as I was patrolling Venus, she showed up and I finished the bounty.

That's destiny for you. Though for some Exotic i do recommend visiting https://www.bungie.net/en/Armory before you try to reroll to see if you can even get what you want. Some armor will always have certain type of bonus like only Str or Str+Int, never Int+ Disc. One would think that exotic gear should have the best stats. Isn't that the point of rare items? They're difficult to find, but when you find them they're awesome. Instead, the exotic stuff I can buy from Xur is no better (and often times worse) than the current purple gear I have. On the topic of bounties, I can't finish this one bounty for Petra (the Queen's representative) because the friggin' boss won't ever show up. I have to kill some guy named Ixsori (sp), but every single time the Taken show up and one of the "bosses" finally appears, it's someone other than the one I need to show up. Frustrating.

Heh my luck continues. I bought the material needed to change the stats of my armor, used it, and guess what? The stats ended up worse than the original one I wanted changed.

Well the light level can be upgraded with infusing armor with higher light into it. The Int, Str and discipline however need another item to reroll, and that's being sold by xur as well. Glass needles. 250 Glimmer, 10x Armor Materials, and 1x Glass Needle needed for one reroll though it can get worse. Also i recommend you to buy some Three of coins from xur if you can afford them. Those things increase the odds of getting an Exotic when you kill and Ultra in a mission or strikes and in a pvp match. Don't use more than 1 at once. If you want a farming tip, there a mission to kill a Gatelord on Venus. Use the TOC, go there , kill it and immediately depart to orbit. If done right you'll have a checkpoint right before he spawns so you can repeat the process. No one knows exactly hgow they've tweaked TOC to work these days, but it farmed about 3-5 consecutive kills and then came back a half an hour later and repeated the process. But i had 50 TOCs so if you go and kill a gatelord every half an hour or whenever you can think of , you might get lucky with your limited resources too. There is also a faster farming that starting a missing then going to orbit and back into the mission again. That one is in the mission Scourge of Winter also on Venus. You farm Draksis by lowering his health as low as it need to be, then blowing yourself up in his vicinity with a rocket launcher so that both of you perish. If done correctly you respawn with him alive and you repeat the process. I might just have to do some more shopping with Xur today then. The thing that I don't like about the exotic equipment I bought is it only increases one of the three powers (discipline), whereas my current piece of purple gear increases two (discipline and intelligence). The actual defense score is the same at 280.

So I found Xur, and wouldn't you know it, the only armor he's got available for my character is worse than the one I'm already equipped with. Yes, it's exotic (yellow) while my current one is only legendary (purple), but the actual stats suck. I bought it anyway while trying to figure out how to change its stats.

When does Xur usually show up? I never see him around the Tower. I probably have a whole bunch of strange coins. I never use them, but every now and then see that I'd earned them either through an engram, or a completed event.

Destiny's loot system really does hate me. My secondary character has a single piece of legendary (purple) armor, his boots. His helmet, armguard, and chest piece is blue. So what do I not only get one, but two of today? Yep, more purple boots.

Non-optional boss I think. It was a fellow that went by the name of 'Father Gascoigne'. Ah that one. That one is hard the first time and the next few too. :D Though you do get other items to help you. So you skipped the optional one or didn't even encounter it or was it a piece of cake ? And did you find any NPCs? Weapons? Armor? If not, go explore the first areas again, then go further on after Gascoine area. :D Prison of elders is year 1 content so year 1 gear is what you'll always get. Same in Crota raid or Vault of glass. Even the exotics you can get are only year 1. If you want year 2 gear you'll have to play Vanguard Heroic strike playlist. That's disappointing. I've still got a couple of treasure keys in my inventory for the Prison of Elders vault.

Nothing more annoying than playing a Prison of Elders match with 2 people who don't even understand the point of the various challenges. Particularly the mine challenges that require you to destroy the mines within a short period of time or it's game over, they'll do nothing but try and earn kills while ignoring the fact the mine's timer is ticking down. On a positive note, I've finally found a good legendary auto rifle. It shoots ridiculously fast, especially when shooting from the hip. It's great at clearing out hordes of enemies that try and swarm you. I got it as a random purple engram drop while doing some patrol missions. On a negative note, every time I get purple gear from doing a Prison of Elders strike, it's always a level 20 gun/equipment for some reason. So it's pretty much useless to me other than to break it down for its component parts.

Wonder if this part of the article has anything to do with the delay. Or would all the writing of the main story be done by then, and all that's left is the technical aspects?

Donald Trump makes following this election actually fun. Although I shudder to think what might happen if he actually ends up becoming the president. His finger will be on that big red button constantly.

Cipher is actually quite decent once you have a couple of the level 2 abilities. At least I find it quite efficient to mow down enemies with. I found it good for stunning enemies (forget the ability) so the rest of my party can go to work on them, but overall I didn't enjoy playing the character for some reason.
