I picked 3 to keep with the whole "Trilogy" aspect of the movies and whatnot. But that's not to say I don't want them to stop making SW based games like this series. I just think that if/when KOTOR 3 is made, that should wrap up the series. After that, I'd want them to move the timeline along to sometime later on (possibly 5000 years AFTER Return of the Jedi) and have a new saga begin then.

that's a question you should ask LucasArts, since I believe they're the ones that do most of the press release stuff.

Just out of curiosity, but why is this in the suggestions forum? I suppose that yes, technically asking for a great story is a "suggestion", but wouldn't that fit under the "duh, no kidding" section? Usually suggestions are things we want in the game that the developers wouldn't think of, or might not have implemented. But a good story? What do you think Obsidian's plan would have been if this wasn't suggested? "gee, let's make a god-awful story! that'll put the game over the top!"

Wasn't Mace Windu the master of Depa Billaba? Typically, they seem to stick to a male/male or female/female master/apprentice structure, but there are a couple of exceptions.

How much more info can they give us that wouldn't start giving away important details about the plot/characters though?

Does anything posted on these forums really matter? Not in terms of life or death or importance to one's real life. But speculation is fun to pass the time. Geeze you're a grumpy old man.

I don't think it'd be sexist to believe that Revan was whatever gender the player happens to be. I don't think in those terms. I think in terms of the character and what would make the game more believable or fun for me. For one thing, because I think the Bastila/Revan romance has more appeal and seemed more...developed than the Revan/Carth, and thus for the "Better" romance to work, Revan was male. It's all about what fits the story better.

Since polls have become common place with all this waiting and not much new information, here's a slight twist to the polls. Basically, when you got engrossed in the original KOTOR, which gender did you think it made the most sense for Revan to be? When you play KOTOR II, which gender will Revan be the majority of your play throughs?

If it's still like the first game, then you'll have control (if you chose) over when to level them up, but I'm guessing they automatically take on the new prestige class at the earliest possible time. Unlike the PC, who you could keep as a Guardian up to level 8 or whatever.

My guess is the "associated" prestige class with Guardian would be Weapons Master, rather than Jedi Master. I know that technically you could combine any, but I think if you want to achieve the most powerful of each prestige class, that'll be the combination.

The Sentinel sure got the short end didn't they.

What's the point in even making different classes if all of them have the same feats? Force jump was a Guardian feat. If they start giving that feat to all classes, what's the point in actually making different ones?

Probably too time consuming to code different ending areas. Although, if the Sith and Jedi storylines are vastly different, you never know.

If it were a "master-apprentice" situation, wouldn't that be kind of a repeat of KOTOR 1, where, instead of the PC facing his/her former apprentice, this time one of the NPC's faces her former master.

We assumed that Kreia is a Jedi, but is she really? Take a look at some of the newer screenshots closely and you'll notice that Kreia is wielding a double-bladed vibroblade, NOT a lightsaber. In a couple of the early screenshots, she was using a double-bladed lightsaber, but since then the screenshots show her with the double-bladed vibroblade. Perhaps she's just some crazy old woman who thinks she has Force abilities, but in fact doesn't. Food for thought.

I voted for better DS/LS, although the new story intrigues me just as much.
