  1. So do you think every single human being looks the same and are impossible to distinguish where they're from? I'd think that skin tone, accent, and the way they dress would give big hints.
  2. I agree. I just don't know how they'd implement it to work fluidly with the game. From what we've been told, you'll be asked questions in a subtle dialogue with an NPC to "tell" the game specifics about Revan. But then how would they let you choose his face? Cut to a character creation screen during the dialogue? Will Atton have a picture album with him and you browse through and point out Revan? The implementation would probably be difficult to make it flow smoothly.
  3. You didn't list the most feasible option: masked Revan.
  4. I believe the developers have stated they're trying to implement this kind of thing, even referring to the gun that pops out underneath the Falcon to dispatch the snowtroopers.
  5. Besides the above instances, one of the things that annoyed me most about the NPC AI was that, especially in places like the Star Forge, they'd go running off and "trigger" a new set of enemies while I was trying to finish off an existing group. It made tactical combat non-existent.
  6. One of my favorite play throughs was when I used the KOTOR saved game editor and turned my entire party in to Republic soldiers. Not a single Jedi in my party. That was a bit more challenging.
  7. I think I that some character's will only join you if they can tell if you have good/evil intention's. So if your neutral, they might not join you at all. But that's just my theory. Ps: I hope this theory isn't true... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I hope it is true. That'll teach people not to choose sides! See if you can go through the entire game by yourself.
  8. He has a dialogue with HK? I've never actually used both in my party at the same time. What does the dialogue say?
  9. That's just rather disgusting
  10. the singer? or do you mean ditto?
  11. The swoop racing is considered part of the actual quests? Hmm, then I guess to this day i still have never finished the game completely. My computer was too stuttery (is that a word?) to be able to do the swoop racing, so I never even bothered after Taris. Doing all quests and such, after I'd got the hang of the game, I usually finished it in 22 to 25 hours range.
  12. Consular/Master, then probably one of the Sith combinations like Consular/Sith Lord
  13. Malak, although apart from the ongoing homosexual joke about Atton Rand, I don't know much about him.
  14. That was my first impression as well. He seems ok, but I don't know how well he fits with the prototypical "Star Wars villain".
  15. I agree that the Jedi and "sub-bosses" should have been much harder. But I guess it was never enough of a deterent to playing through a few times without having to download the mod to make them more difficult. Besides, I already had a bunch of mods downloaded that probably would have conflicted with it. :D
  16. I don't know. I just know that a lot of people didn't like Bastila. I'm not one of them, as every time I played through I did the Bastila/Revan romance. But I'm just saying that if it's forced upon us, then the people that didn't like Bastila or the romance will be upset.
  17. Of the mods I've used, that's one of the ones I haven't gotten around to trying out yet. I guess for me the difficulty (or seeming lack thereof) wasn't much of an issue when I played through.
  18. The problem is then the developers would have to vastly improve the NPC AI. In games like Fallout, where you can shoot your own party members, it gets a little tiresome when one of your NPCs mows down another NPC (or you) because they don't have the sense to move a couple of steps over to get a better shot. With all the melee combat in KOTOR, you'd end up killing your own party too often if you have a ranged weapon guy/gal in your party doing the far-away firing.
  19. I'm indifferent to the way it was implemented in KOTOR1. If it's improved upon, it could be an interesting new function. If it remains the same, I probably won't ever use it.
  20. I'm not sure it would be a good idea for Obsidian to make it "officially shown" that Revan and Bastila are an "item". A lot of people disliked Bastila and didn't want the romance angle. So forcing a romance on them would probably bring about some angry KOTOR2 fans. I think if both Revan and Bastila are appearing in TSL, it'd be best if their relationship is "ambiguous". For instance, if they appear together, Obsidian should probably exploit the "master-apprentice" relationship as the reason they're together, instead of a romantic one. That way, those who want them to be romantically involved are happy since they're together, and those who don't want a romance are also happy.
  21. Or at the very least, make them visibly appear apprehensive about attacking Revan. Lowly Sith: Y...y....you're Revan? Oh, uh....*shakily pulls out his lightsaber* I...I...can beat you! Revan: Bring it *smirks* Lowly Sith: *in a trembling voice* F..f...for the Sith!
  22. I hope this is somehow implemented. I always thought it was kind of dumb how even after everyone found out you were Revan, they still thought they could take you.
  23. When I'm a bit "bored" with a mission, or don't want to do anything except play black jack...errr pazzaak, I'll just find the guy who gives out the best payoff and play him for a while. I'll tend to play atleast one game of pazzaak per run through.
