Pretty sure. I distinctly remember seeing the "stars changing into streams of light..." scene in KOTOR when you entered hyperspace.

That's just the beginning of the cutscene when you go in to hyperspace. Watch the scenes in the first game closely and you'll see something similar each time you go in to hyperspace.

I think they've already said they're going to shuffle the forums and have a spoiler and non-spoiler forum. But the problem is you'll still get wise ass idiots who will post in the non-spoiler forum to be "funny".

That doesn't mean it's being released on that date. It just means that's the date that the store you bought it from has listed as a tentative release date.

I believe there was already a poll (or two, or ten) about this. But my answer remains the same. Once TSL is released for the XBox, I won't be visiting here (well, not the KOTOR forums. Maybe the NWN and general RPG forums) until I've had a chance to play through the PC version atleast twice (one LS, one DS). Even if I'm stuck and need hints, I'll probably just check out gamebanshee rather than come here and risk reading a spoiler for something I didn't want to see.

haha I knew Akari's post would spark this kind of thing. Chances are, with so many suggestions and speculation, the odds are SOMEONE had to be correct, or close to correct.

They HAVE said so. They said no new hilts. And I'm guessing it's more to do with what the engine can handle, rather than time consuming.

So now all we have to do is look at all the threads with ideas in them and see which ones the devs have ignored and we can piece the story together like a puzzle.

They should pay you a bit extra to write the manual, since each time you've been asked to explain something, your explanations were clear and understandable. Unlike the KOTOR 1 manual, which didn't seem to tell you much more than the absolute bare bones basics.

I wonder when Lucasarts will actually get around to finalizing the exact date for both releases. So far we've got December 04 and February 05. So that narrows it down to 31 days and 28 days, respectively. Not exactly "concrete", considering it's almost November and thus a month, and 3 months away, again respectively.

You were hunted on Taris and were able to go to a store and buy stuff. You were an enemy on Korriban but were able to go to a store and buy stuff. I'm not sure why that would change just because you're being hunted. Just because the Sith seem to be in power, doesn't mean every world is 100% behind them.

I don't think I've seen any of the devs confirm Carth will make a cameo. I think people have just speculated it because you (the PC) get to visit Telos.

Akari, do you know if the manual will explain this type of thing in greater detail? Because the manual that shipped with KOTOR 1 was pretty much useless in terms of information.

AFAIK, only the swoop bike and of course the Ebon Hawk are vehicles available, unless you count transportation types to get you from one area to the next (like the submarine on Manaan, although you don't "drive" it).

I don't think they've stated there will be NO plot twists. I think they just stated that it wouldn't be a "you are Revan!" type deal. It'd be more minor like one of your NPC party members is a spy, or Revan's behind the Sith Lords invasion.

I think this is the least Lucasarts can do to make up for the release date fiasco. What's a couple free copies as opposed to ignoring their fans?
