  1. I think that's because he wants to actually be able to play the game, not deal with endless crashes and slowdowns.
  2. Ewoks are obviously strong in the Force. I mean think about it, they're just a furry version of Yoda. Or perhaps that's what Yoda's species looks like before it grows old and loses most of its hair.
  3. I'm quite weary about him doing any more Star Wars flics. On one hand, I'm a Star Wars geek and want to see more stuff. On the other hand, he appears to have lost his touch (based on the first two prequel movies) and it would be painful to see him do something to completely screw up the Star Wars name. Best case scenario: IF he makes new Star Wars movies, don't make them interconnected with the previous series.
  4. If you eventually plan to get both, but only have money for one right now, go for KOTOR 1. The simple reason is it obviously comes first chronologically, and thus will make the series flow better.
  5. That scene was enough to ruin (or atleast detract) from the movie for me. The entire point of that scene was originally about how good and how fast a draw Han Solo is, cool under pressure. The remastered version just makes him look incredibly lucky, and Greedo look incredibly inept at his profession. Oh, and the addition of the CGI Jabba the Hutt in ANH looked dumb as well. So that's two scenes.
  6. They're both up there. Although the difference being the Ewoks didn't cause the events of Episode II to be set in motion by being a bumbling fool.
  7. Or for women, perhaps the sex without the foreplay.
  8. Don't you mean the Bulgarian translated readme file?
  9. As fun as the games are, I'd think the engine is quite outdated, both in terms of pure graphics and in what the programmers can do with the engine.
  10. I think gamespot got one of Chris Avellone's old high school year book pics. :D Oh and yeah, reading that article, it sounds like that Tim Shafer guy didn't even want to be a part of the interview. Everyone else wrote full descriptive paragraphs for their answers, he wrote simplistic "ugh, why are you bugging me with these questions" type ramblings. <_<
  11. Oh God no.
  12. My guess is the game will just have tidbits of what happened, rather than follow the storyline. For instance, you'll meet an old Jedi along your journey who will go into a long diatribe about the events of the past (ie. Revan and Exile), in essense being told rather than being active in the resolution.
  13. As weird as it sounds, the things that impress me the most about these drawings (and the others I've seen on this site) are the fingers. Even when I was in my "drawing" phase, I could NEVER draw hands and fingers. I always had to draw clenched fists so that I didn't have to draw an actual detailed open hand.
  14. I do not recall. Probably not since I was about 5 at the time when I first saw it.
  15. What's the difference between a forest and a jungle?
  16. Wouldn't that require quite a bit of time and money? I think of expansion packs like HotU and SoU and figure each took a good amount of time to create, even if they are much shorter than the OC. Not to be skeptical, but I think the chances of a content patch are slim to none. Both time, money, and Lucasarts' unwillingness to be fan friendly make it an unviable option.
  17. If you really want to experience the hype of the Original movies, I suggest trying to get your hands on the actual original ones, not the bastardized versions that Georgie Boy did later on.
  18. It means the project is from the swamps.
  19. Thanks for the advice, oh grumpy, disgruntled one. btw, you don't *have* to post on a message board for a game you dislike, you know. Don't like the game? Uninstall it.
  20. Actually those are annoying as well, especially if they are like this one, where someone repeats the exact same link or article over and over again. " Like I clearly stated, I'm not against positive or negative threads per se. I'm against REPETITIVE threads which contain links or articles that have already been posted before, or arguments opinions that have been posted before ad nauseum.
  21. And I could argue that many, many, many more liked the story. No offense (this is a broad generalization, not directed solely at you) but the people who disliked the game seem to have this arrogance that their opinions are fact, just because they tend to be more vocal. The fact is people who dislike something will be more vocal about it, and thus make it appear that they are in greater numbers. The proof of this is the number of "newbies" signing up since release to complain. They're the ones that either have had technical issues, or disliked the story. In contrast, someone who has enjoyed their experience isn't likely to sign up to a message board just so they can say "wow, what a great game!". Get my point?
  22. Exactly. This is a perfect example of how redundant threads become annoying. Yet people will then say "oh you're just a fanboy. that's why you don't want to read it". No, it's not that I don't want to read it. It's that I don't want to read it for the 100th time.
  23. No thanks. I don't feel like quoting all your gibberish. However, you can read it yourself and see how many times you kept calling Obsidian's job on the game "incompetence". Just because you re-word sentences with the same meaning, doesn't mean you actually came up with something new to say. Your posts in that thread repeated the same things. A)Obsidian was incompetent, B)You know the industry and how it works, no one else does and C)You flashed your "background" around on numerous occasions. And yet you don't bother to mention that those same people gave you reasonable arguments in response as well, but only resorted to flaming or sarcasm when you kept insisting that you knew how the business worked and they obviously didn't. I've found that generally people respond to the tone of someone's post. I've yet to see someone get flamed that didn't come in with a condescending "I know this stuff, you don't" attitude and still get flamed. It just doesn't happen. However, if someone comes on and immediately slams the game, the developer, or the fanbase for no apparent reason other than because they like to throw an E-temper tantrum, then chances are they'll get flamed.
  24. I followed that thread you keep referencing. Just because I didn't respond in it doesn't mean I didn't see it or read it. Fact is you repeated yourself over and over in that thread, while at the same time insisting that everyone who gave you plausible reasons against your argument was wrong. Sure you got flamed, but you flamed as well. Unless you consider condescending tone/posts a perfectly acceptable form of debating.
