Hmm...it appears that the slowdowns and graphical glitches were not tweaked in the patch. Reading one of the patch information things it seems Activision/Troika is saying that part is the sole responsibility of each individual's computer specs. <_< Guess it stays uninstalled for me then.

Seems Activision/Troika released a patch for Bloodlines. As I'm typing this, I'm downloading the patch, so I can't comment on how much it fixes/improves things. I'm hoping it improves performance and cuts down on the choppiness. Anyone used the patch yet?

Story? No. NPCs? No. NPC depth? No. That's quite a bit of substance it doesn't beat it on.

Those are good news. I'm going to try it now. However, Activision once again proves what a crappy company they are by not sponsoring the patch in any of their pages. Isn't the freedom that FO2 gives you exactly what Hades is always moaning about doesn't exist in games like KOTOR? He always says that a cRPG should allow you the choice to do whatever you want, whenever you want, but that timer sort of negates that choice. Yet he expects KOTOR to be open ended to the point where you don't have to follow the main story and just do your own thing. Con....tra....dic....tion.

What was wrong with New Reno? Some of the best sidequests in the game were found there. Some of the best replayability options were found there.

No way! FO one had a much better story and atmosphere. FO 2 was good but very plain. It didn't have the creepy "feel" FO had. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> FO1 had a timer. I hate timers. I know some people like them, but for me I feel rushed. I like to be able to explore everything and go at my own pace. Even though the timer wasn't too bad, it was till at the back of my mind that I had such and such time to complete something.

Your initial thread contained spoilers, so I didn't see the point in reading everyone else's posts that might or might not have also contained more spoilers. That's because it has been proven to be a buggy game with no patch in sight. Assuming the PC version of TSL runs relatively smoothly, you'll buy it. Plus, you've admitted you dislike the Vampire setting. But since you've played KOTOR1, that indicates at the very least that you're not against the Star Wars setting.

I quoted your original message because that was the one I read first (obviously) and it contained spoilers. I didn't even bother reading anyone else's replies since I'd already seen one post with spoilers in it. Since then I've responded to yours and yours alone because you're the only one that has quoted me and thus provoked a response. How is that a hard concept to understand? If you want to discuss things that have spoilers, there are TWO (three, if you count the XBox forum) forums to do so. You seem to think I'm picking on you because you are speaking against this game. Wrong. I'm picking on you because you started this thread and posted spoilers in them when you could have just as easily posted this same thread in the Spoiler forum and I wouldn't have had an issue with it in the least. The fact that you insist on spoiling the game for the rest of us just because you didn't like it shows you're not really considerate to anyone else on the forum and thus why people are targetting you. Get off your martyr podium.

You don't deserve courtesy when you're being obnoxious and ignorant towards those who don't want the game ruined for them. And instead of this whole pursecution complex, I'll let you know that I'd call someone who is defending the game ignorant if they put spoilers as well. I could care less what you think of the game. What I do care about is not having the game ruined for me because some spoiled brat can't even bother to put the thread in the right forum.

Name calling? I said your actions were ignorant. Which they were. There are specific forums on this message board for spoiler information and you chose to ignore it. That has nothing to do with being in an "Obsidian fan club" and everything to do with common courtesy.
