  1. The game time is about 40 hours, not 30 unless you either a)rush through everything or b)have played it enough to know exactly where you have to go. Game time is only relevant on your first play through. After that, too many factors come in to skewer an accurate count of time. And I doubt you finished in 30 hours on your first play thru.
  2. Then whose fault is it if not Lucasarts for the sheer number of "bad disks"? I own a console as well (a PS2), but I have never seen, experienced, or heard of as many "bad disks" for a game as there were reported of TSL in the X-Box forum. Never. Since you insist that the problem isn't Lucasarts' fault, then perhaps you can inform me who is to blame for the incredible amount (as compared to the norm in the console market) of bad disks being produced?
  3. Sound advice. The day anyone on the Lucasarts forums is the first to know about something is the day....well I don't have a good enough analogy to describe how unlikely it is.
  4. You should tell all those people in the X-Box self-help forum that all they needed to do to fix their problems is to return their disks then, since according to you, it's not a problem at all.
  5. We obviously disagree about this topic, so I won't bother responding again to that. However, about the part I quoted, I think you have me mistaken with someone. My comments towards you are strictly about how the X-Box would have still been rushed regardless of whether they dropped the PC release and that the problems people are seeing are due to the fact the game was rushed. I'm not sure how that has anything to do with Obsidian or its ability to patch something since I never once mentioned a patch in this thread.
  6. No offense, but you're sounding like Troika's customer service in regards to Bloodlines' problems. "It's not our fault, it's your fault for having a crappy computer". Sorry, bad disks are still Lucasarts' fault, whether or not someone is "lazy" about returning the disk. I suggest you read the X-Box forum to see that I'm not exaggerating and that you're simply being blind about how stable the X-Box version is. Word to the wise, just because YOU didn't have problems with the X-Box version doesn't mean there weren't others who did. I didn't have a single problem with my PC version, but I'd never be so arrogant as to suggest that anyone who had problems with the PC version is just too "lazy" to return it or too imcompetant and needs Lucasarts to come to their house to install it.
  7. I created my own KOTOR forum. Please sign up! KOTOR Palace of Super Duper Fun
  8. How is it NOT Lucasarts' fault for bad disks? Are they not the ones manufacturing them? If you look at the X-Box forum there was an enormous amount of people with "bad disks", which are no one EXCEPT Lucasarts' fault. If you're going to use that as an excuse, then I can just as easily say that anyone who has problems with the PC version just got a bad disk too. Either way, those people can't play the game, regardless.
  9. It's still a rampant frequency. So I'd say that constitutes a bigger problem than you want to admit.
  10. Topaz.....Topaz.....Topaz wonky.
  11. Have you SEEN the X-Box forum? A lot of complaints are about the game not even loading, let alone "minor" problems. I'd say that's just as bad as the PC issues.
  12. I voted for Gluupor. The Wonky is strong in that one.
  13. The X-Box version is just as bugged, and unlike the PC version, no chance of patching. And the PC version had very little to do with the rush to meet the Christmas season.
  14. Please don't use supershadow as some sort of reference.
  15. Where have 90% of the problems and bad press come from ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The X-Box version caused the rushed release, so therefore you could argue that all problems stem from the X-Box, whether directly or indirectly. "
  16. Splinter Cell looks awesome, atleast from the television commercials.
  17. Can't say that I have. Doctor Who just was never my sort of thing.
  18. I rest my case. :D
  19. Maybe if everyone that signs up recently creates a new thread complaining about the exact same thing, even though there are already 10 or so existing threads with the same complaints, then this will solve everything. [/end sarcasm] "
  20. I've never understood how anyone could enjoy that show.
  21. This exact comment has been shared amongst many already on this forum. But I doubt you'll see it happen.
  22. Why couldn't he be a party member? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I can see his entire dialogue tree with the PC. Everything ends in "Gluupor wonky"
  23. Can't say that I have. Tempted to, but I'd probably give up half way through playing KOTOR 1 over again.
