  1. My computer, yes. My alarm clock, no.
  2. Speaking of time, isn't it tonight that we have to put our clocks ahead an hour?
  3. I'd say that seems to be the case, since I've spent the past two days walking around the various areas and he hasn't appeared anywhere. Even when I "spawn" him, he disappears after his request for help dialogue. <_<
  4. That's why they made Star Wars galaxies.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Uh? No. Because I didn't see anywhere in my reply where I said I wanted to play a MMORPG or a game without an engrossing story. Galaxies is a MMORPG and has no story, thus using that as an example is a bad one. I thought it was clear, but if not, then I should add that I wanted the ELEMENTS from KOTOR (ie. story, character interaction, etc.) but with the changes I mentioned. I didn't state that I want to play online with a bunch of teenagers or play as some character who sets up a merchant shop as the entire basis for my character. I mentioned those character classes as examples of which types of classes rather than the protagonist being a Jedi.
  5. Apparently mine's the patched version, so there is no patch for it. I'm pretty much screwed.
  6. I'm not sure if that's a cover for a Star Wars comic, or for a remake of Ben Hur.
  7. Although I'm not a fan of the multiple K3 threads popping up all the time, I think it would be a big shock (although not completely unexpected) if Lucasarts doesn't produce a K3.
  8. You mean sort of like Telos' arctic section? "
  9. They (LA) stopped producing the X-Wing series of games, even though those were really well done (and I assume decent sellers), so I wouldn't be surprised if they stop making SW cRPGs after KOTOR3 (there might not even be a K3). Personally, I'd rather see it taken in a completely different direction. Less emphasis on the Jedi and the Force, more emphasis on the other interesting characters in the SW universe, such as bounty hunters, starship pilots, smugglers, gamblers, pirates, criminal organizations, etc.
  10. Haha aww poor Nur. He's going to require a new technique. He's always got his love/hate relationship with Numbers Man to fall back on. And...ehem...to actually stay on topic today for the first time, maybe it's just the trailers I've seen but I'm actually looking forward to RotS more than I have the previous 2 prequel movies. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint, but I'm keeping a skeptical view until proven otherwise.
  11. As long as we're agreed that TotJ is indeed a successful attempt in suckidude, all's good.
  12. If you're one of the lucky ones and bugs/slowdowns don't ruin your experience, you might even want to consider Vampire: the Masquerade Bloodlines. It's got a pretty good story.
  13. It was my failed attempt at being off topic, since that's what the entire thread has become. And to see if Nur will blow a gasket.
  14. Technically, that's only half true.
  15. Corelia. Come on, home system of two of the OT's most beloved characters!
  16. After reading this thread, I have to agree with everyone that TotJ does indeed bite the big one. "
  17. I was pleasantly surprised by IWD. I admit I was one of those who was turned off without giving it a chance when I heard it always referred to as a hack n slash, but I got in to it right off the bat and enjoyed it.
  18. Any pointers on how to summon all incarnations? Yes. I've had the game for a while, but couldn't get into it until recently. I haven't patched it. I suppose I should have, but I was lazy and everything was going good anyways up until this point. The problem with the autosave is I've played quite a ways farther into the game than that originally meeting. I didn't get around to Scar's quest until much later on and thus there's been quite a few autosaves since he originally disappeared (I didn't even realize he disappeared until I returned to the FF HQ much later). But I'll give the suggestions a shot to see if that helps me. Thanks guys and gal.
  19. Sometimes it scares me when we think alike. In this instance I think it's more a case of common sense that most would have.
  20. Grrr! Didn't work. I found a site with the cheatcodes to create an NPC, but when I input the code, Scar appears, but he says the stuff that he said upon our original meeting (ie. asking for our help in investigating Seven Suns). Then he just disappears again and I can't talk to him. I'm not amused.
  21. I was hoping he was maybe back at the original spot he approached me just as I entered Baldurs Gate, but he wasn't there either. And I walked around the entire area surrounding the Flaming Fist HQ and again, no sign of him. Well there goes a good month of my life.
  22. Buy it. Don't listen to people who complain otherwise you'll never end up buying anything. Or some other type of words of wisdom like that.
  23. No. The ONE time I don't have multiple saves this happens.
  24. I've killed all the dopplegangers in Seven Suns and have spoken to Jhasso. He told me to get my reward from Scar back at the Flaming Fist HQ. Also, a Flaming Fist Mercenary outside greeted me and told me that Scar wants to talk to me. But he's nowhere to be found. I even tried to start a fight with the people in the HQ in hopes he'd atleast show where he was, but he never appeared.
  25. Scar has disappeared! I'm currently in the process of finishing the Seven Suns quest and try to return to the Flaming Fist HQ to tell Scar of my findings, but he's not anywhere in the building. I've checked the main level, the upstairs level (with Duke Elten) and the basement level and he's nowhere to be found. I really hope this isn't a bug since I'm quite a ways into my game.
