  1. Dunno about that. I enjoyed Mercenaries, and I'm probably going to play Republic Commando. The only recent release of theirs I wasn't too thrilled with was Battlefront. Oh yeah, and in case it wasn't apparent from my posts, I don't intend on playing SW:Galaxies. :D
  2. If he was an elf....
  3. The only way I see them incorporating it is if they gave you (the player) the option of becoming a Jedi or remaining your core class. That might make writing a cohesive story quite tricky since you'd have to take into account possibilities for both Force user PCs and non-Force user PCs, but that's probably the only way a game like that would be made.
  4. What Cyrus22 said. Male PC=Handmaiden, Female PC=Disciple. LS=Mira, DS=Hanharr. And this would have probably been better off in the Spoilers Forum.
  5. Same reason Lucasarts contracted Obsidian to begin production (I believe pre-development stuff) before the release of KOTOR I, or shortly thereafter.
  6. Yes, let's turn the Star Wars universe into a Star Trek episode. Bad enough we've already been forced to accept Waru as continuity.
  7. I've played both games multiple times, so I'm not going to bash one or the other since I enjoyed both of them. However, I disagree with your seeming opinion that K2 wasn't very good.
  8. edit: nevermind, you didn't. But I figured out why I quoted only that first part. The fact you mentioned Galaxies at all, when that wasn't what I wanted. Your first sentence makes it sound like "go play Galaxies if you want that style of game", when Galaxies is the furthest thing from how I want a game to be
  9. It sounds an awful lot like Kotex.
  10. Sometimes? I thought Volourn was a frequent poster at every forum he signs up for. "
  11. Magic 8-ball says Epiphany wants a patch.
  12. It's just a pipe dream we have though. Lucasarts knows that being a Jedi and using the Force is what sells these games to the mass market. Unfortunately, sculpting a story around non-Force users probably won't meet with approval from those in the finance and sales projections department.
  13. [truthful answer]About 2 or 3 hours east of you[/truthful answer] [stalker]I'm peeping in your window right now[/stalker]
  14. Give it a try. I've heard rumors that a few people didn't run in to any problems. Maybe you'll be one of those lucky ones.
  15. No gamers have died from buying an unfinished video game. But by the sounds of the people, and the ferocity of their anger, on this forum about them being "owed" something by Obsidian...
  16. Probably has to do with automobiles have a safety standard in which they have to atleast pass, whereas, as far as I know, there is no "completeness" standard for games, thus it's easier for game makers to take shortcuts since they aren't being regulated. If there is some kind of standards bureau for games, then the standards must be incredibly low (ie. as long as the game works on 10% of systems tested on).
  17. Are you sure you really want me to answer that?
  18. Very. You can basically do whichever "jobs" you want in whichever order (granted you have to finish one color suite of cards before moving on to the next, but there are 13 cards per suite to do in almost-non linear fashion).
  19. We should game together. You can carry all the loot that I want, but don't want my character weighed down by. As for the user modules, one of my favorites is the Paladin Trilogy (although so far only 2 parts) by Rick Burton. Very entertaining. I also enjoyed the ones where you can join a thief guild and play as a thief.
  20. That was my first post? I actually kept on topic back then. Then the rest of you fools dragged me to your depths of off-topicness.
  21. You live near to me. And Volourn. ROAD TRIP!
  22. That's what I originally did. It's just taken me over 3000 posts to do it.
  23. We can't all be daddy's little girl.
